  1. Hunter x Hunter - Actually, I have no idea what this is about except there's two boys? And they're boyfriends? Or one of them is. Also Killua is voiced by Elle and Kurapika is voiced by Milla. I'm sure there are other notables but that's all I know. Listen, I have priorities. I HEAR THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY GOOD TOO? SO?
  2.
  3. Tonari no Seki-kun - Basically, a boy never pays attention in class and the girl beside him is Very Invested in his little games. He also never gets caught, and she always gets yelled at for being distracted.
  4.
  5. When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace - A group of five boys and girls suddenly acquire supernatural powers. Ready to fight in galactic battles to defend human cause… they are struck by the realization that there are no wars, no conspiracies, no evils empires, no nothing in their high school life. They instead decide to idly have fun by wasting their powers away.
  6.
  7. Yona of the Dawn - Currently, Hiryuu Palace has no one else next in line for the throne other than the fifteen year old princess, Yona, who had been raised with care. Finally, the night of her sixteenth birthday arrives. She expects it to be a wonderful day spent with her peace-loving father, Il, her servant and friend Hak, and her cousin Soo-won, who she had feelings for... However... That night, Yona goes to visit her father to tell him how she really feels, because he opposes to her getting married to Soo-won. However, when she gets to her room, she encounters a shocking truth.
  8.
  9. Your lie in April - Normal Boy meets Radiant Girl and she brings inspiration into his life? I think? She's good with kids and also a babe. This one is also pretty good going by people's commentary. And I keep seeing it on my dash and meaning to watch it so, look. Thanks. It has music in it (PEACE!!)
  10.
  11. The Irregular at Magic School - This sounds like a canon where you can look at characters doing magic and say, "They'd do it for the vine" since all of their magic is channeled by their iPods.
  12.
  13. Gourmet Girl Graffiti - Cute Girls and Cute Food. This basically seems like my dream anime???
  14.
  15. Golden Time - "Banri Tada is a newly admitted student at a private law school in Tokyo. However, due to an accident, he lost all of his memories. During his freshman orientation, he encounters another freshman from the same school, Mitsuo Yanagisawa, and they hit it off at once. Without any memory of each other, their lives become more and more intertwined as if set by the hands of fate. But what is their fate, and will it lead to happiness or another memory to forget…" is the actual summary but I'm pretty sure I queued it up because there's a scene where a guy pretends he's going out with his best friend to dissuade some chick. Also, Kouko is a babe and a cutie like COME ON https://38.media.tumblr.com/4802055ccae7c5454df8bb4a487a9f53/tumblr_nfb8fyYFjh1ti1gm1o1_500.gif (also it has really good character development apparently) (I checked out Kouko's tag to find a good pic of her and saw that)
  16.
  17. Witch Craft Works - There's a girl who's a badass witch and she's always saving the main guy. I think? I don't know, I heard it was good from some friends. And that it was disappointing from others. But those other ones are also really hard to please unless something is Absolutely Perfect so, eh.
  18.
  19. Senyu - OKAY I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE A KID'S SHOW AND MAYBE IT IS BUT PLEASE... IT'S ABOUT SOME HERO THAT COMES EVERY TIME THE DEMON KING IS RESURRECTED TO GO PUT AN END TO IT AND IT'S SCREWBALLY AND IT LOOKS REALLY CUTE........
  20.
  21. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU - You know what? I don't remember why I put this on my list, except that it has "romcom" in the title and I'm a sucker for romcoms. Also my Koe Kare boyfriend voices the main guy in here. What's the summary... oh. "The story follows loners, the pragmatic Hachiman Hikigaya and beautiful Yukino Yukinoshita, who despite their varying personalities and ideals, offer help and advice to others as part of their school's Service Club. It largely depicts various social situations faced by teens in a high school setting and the psychology driving their interactions." Okay.
  22.
  23. Zetsuen no Tempest - ANIME WITH SHAKESPEARE REFERENCES AND LITERARY REFERENCES AND MAGIC AND LOSS AND STUFF. FUWA-KUN IS THE BLOND BADASS BABE AND HE EXHIBITS TRAITS OF HAMLET DON'T TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME. I LOVE HAMLET.
  24.
  25. Nanana's Buried Treasure - Seems to be about a ghost girl who lives in the house this boy just moved into? She was murdered and can't pass on until her killer's under lock and key. Also she used to collect stuff and buried them all around the island so I guess they're gonna be pirates, find the booty, and find her murderer in the process.
  26.
  27. Locodol - Two girls try to start an idol group so they can become their town's local idols. It looks really cute, actually. Cute girls doing cute things is something I can get behind.
  28.
  29. Humanity Has Declined - JINRUI IS SO GOOD I LOVE JINRUI EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH JINRUI THAT'S WHY IT'S ON THIS LIST. Also I need to finish it so hahah... ha... It's about a girl (who we only know as Watashi because that's how she refers to herself; she's never given a name in the anime or the novels) who lives with fairies and there are no humans in the world because they all died out. The fairies are also kind of creepy sometimes, it's great.
  30.
  31. Fairy Musketeers - I'm pretty sure this is a magical girl/boy anime inspired by fairy tales and yes that's the only reason I queued it, shut up.
  32.
  33. Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life - This is one of those 5-7 minutes anime but it's actually really good. It's about this thing named Wooser and his daily life. He's a hero, probably, but he's also kind of an ass. I respect that.
  34.
  35. Phantom Thief Reinya - One: She works in fast food by day, as a cat burglar by night. Two: She has a cat pun in her name. Nya. 3: She's really cute. Probably appearing in Persona 5 under the name Anzu Takamaki.
  36.
  37. Traveling Daru - This is actually a short movie about a little stuffed toy that travels through people's hands as it searches for its beloved owner.
  38.
  39. Kimi to Boku - This is Peace and I's favorite slice-of-life school anime. They even have one episode dedicated to making a manga and it ends up going from action/adventure to fantasy to SCHOOL LIFE AND ROMANCE because Chizuru (Peace's boy, loser who has a FAKE EAR PIERCING, blonde) decided they needed a fresh start in the middle of their 5 page manga and made it into a doujin about him and his crush the ever adorable Masaki Sato (my girl, looks like a sheep, generally the only girl hanging with them). He'd deny that ever happened though, it's just a COMIC okay. This anime also has a second season worth watching, I pretty much cry every time I listen to the OST so. SO.
  40.
  41. Gintama - Comedy about Japan being taken over by aliens early on. Breaks the fourth wall a lot. It's super long though. Worth it though.
  42.
  43. Shugo Cara - MAGICAL GIRL/BOY ANIME I'm sorry, my tastes are poor. Peace can at least vouch it's not a bad show... manga... thing. Kids have these little familiars (I think Sawashiro-san voices one? I didn't know this when I picked it, okay) and they fight bad guys. After transforming using their familiars, I think? It looks cute. I keep hearing it's good from the magical girl tumblr I follow.
  44.
  45. SHIROBAKO - Animation club shenanigans? I keep hearing that I should watch it, so, like.
  46.
  47. Log Horizon - Peace would probably kill me if I didn't have this on this list. People trapped in an MMORPG, like .hack or SAO. It's supposed to be very good. Second season gets animated by DEEN though.
  48.
  49. Silver Spoon - [STARTS CRYING] [NEVER STOPS] No for real though, it's this super charming animanga by Hiromu Arakawa (who's written works such as FULL METAL ALCHEMIST that's right, and it has the same level of humor and sadness) about a boy named Hachiken who transfers from the city to an agricultural school in Hokkaido to escape the pressure of his father, getting good grades, and etc. He learns that running away isn't a bad thing, that you can take stuff at your own pace, and that enjoying the little things in life (like freshly grown tomatoes, or sharing a meal with others) is what's really important. IT JUST HAS SUCH A GOOD MESSAGE IT INSPIRES ME A LOT... This also has two seasons but they're both like, 11 episodes I think. ALSO THE GIRL CHARACTERS ARE REALLY GOOD and they're never made a joke out of. Not even Tamako. Tamako's fucking perfect, actually. (I mean we're going to watch Silver Spoon first regardless but you know. Heads up for what it's about.)
  50.
  51. Samurai Flamenco - PROBABLY LUDGER'S FAVORITE SHOW. IT'S LIKE, SENTAI BS. Not sentai. Toku something? I don't remember. Anyway! There's this guy named Masayoshi who stole an umbrella by accident when he was 5 once and has been training since that day to become a superhero. He gets beat up by middle schoolers a lot. There's also this guy named Goto who loves a girl and he misses her a lot. Like, a lot a lot. At the end of the anime Masayoshi asks Goto to marry him. They're canon. There's official wedding art. Please.
