Kaorin Sakura: 	So, I don't wanna announce this yet.
Kaorin Sakura: 	But AEB Story has created 9 new classes.
Kaorin Sakura: 	And I am having an impossible time finding images for it.
Avara: 	what are the classes called?
DNA: 	What do you mean, created nine new classes?
Kaorin Sakura: 	Evoker (initial/initial)
DNA: 	...and I'm going to have to delete this from the log when it goes up, won't I.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Such as Evoker E.F. or Evoker I.W.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Not at all.
DNA: 	TEASER TRAILER
Kaorin Sakura: 	Just Dan will get pissed about it. I think. I predict. I assume. I like Dan.
DNA: 	Dan ranks a little above me when it comes to disapproval of new things.
DNA: 	Not that that's a bad thing by any means.
Kaorin Sakura: 	....Not at all.
Kaorin Sakura: 	He trumps you by 10 levels easy.
Kaorin Sakura: 	In terms of disapproving things that are new it goes into the order of: Dan level of disapproval. Mike level of disapproval. DNA level of disapproval.
DNA: 	...This makes me sound really mellow.
Chloe has connected.
Eclipse: 	What really happened is that you used to be much higher on the list, but then you got tired of fighting about and over it, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble of stress.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The DNA level is usually because it does something minor to you, but is a change you indirectly like. Or dislike for the sake of disliking it and you find something about it to dislike and use that. This has been my experience mostly.
DNA: 	Of those two it tends to be the former. The latter is usually just 'I do not like X thing, on principle', whenever it surfaces.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Mike level of disapproval is usually something Mike believes is unnecessary or affects him as a player but understands it as a GM. And he's incredibly vocal about it and is usually siding mostly with the player thing passionately because in this case, he's the player.
Kaorin Sakura: 	And then there's the Dan dislike. Which can be rational or irrational dislike. 100% backed by passion and requires him a few days minimum or a week for him and I to talk about it rationally. Because we both get into a heated discussion and end up going, "I love you but I can't talk to you because irrational discussion has overtaken our conversation! BYE!"
DNA: 	That usually ends up being my cue to go do something else as well, because I don't like being around that. It affects me negatively.
Kaorin Sakura: 	We've been doing it privately lately.
DNA: 	'splains a lot.
Kaorin Sakura: 	So, you know how Dan made the Elementalist classes?
DNA: 	Yes I do.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Well, let's think of Dan's classes as uhm...

DNA: 	Sweet. I love Chikorita.
Kaorin Sakura: 	And Evoker as Bulbasaur.

Chloe: 	I guess my level of dislike is when a change alters the way things have been, or create implications on previous events that weren't there before. Probably other things other people have noticed.
DNA: 	...I don't even know the adjective.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Elementalists are Single Type.
Evokers are Dual Type.
DNA: 	wait does that mean Rain Wakers are coming back
Kaorin Sakura: 	That's the most basic way to describe them.
Kaorin Sakura: 	No.
DNA: 	dammit
Kaorin Sakura: 	That's just the basic way.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Elementalists are....relics mostly.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Like Berserker. From an age where classes didn't have a lot of wiggle room to really...be something.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Its why for a character like Maikoa the Berserker class is two features to her. And only acquired in name only when it doesn't actually do anything.
DNA: 	I like Elementalists, myself. I like what Dan did with them too as they aren't so awfully generic anymore.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Elementalists are mostly classes that revolve around a single Type and grant Moves based on that type. With maybe a gimmick to accompany it.
Avara: 	night queen is best elemental class. *BLATANTLY BIASED*
Kaorin Sakura: 	Night Queen isn't any different. Sadly.
Avara: 	i figured, yeah.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Night Queen is a relic as well. And I feel like if I could go back and touch it, it would be drastically different now.
DNA: 	I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea of a single-type focus. Though exactly how do you think NQ is differe-also how long are we waiting for Trul
Chloe: 	He said he's not making it, right?
DNA: 	He said he might not make it, correct
Kaorin Sakura: 	Trul isn't making it. I was just making an announcement.
DNA: 	Ah, okay.

Kaorin Sakura: 	Now, I'm not saying a single type focus is wrong.
Kaorin Sakura: 	And I'm not saying a class focused around Move Learning is wrong either. Because they're not.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Just pointing out what an Elementalist is. Single Type. Move Learning Focus. A single gimmick, usually, accompanying it.
Avara: 	how would you revise them to be more not-a-relic?
Kaorin Sakura: 	Well, when they were created the idea of a Trainer having incredible control over an element, and not a Type, wasn't well accepted back then.
Kaorin Sakura: 	That's what I'd change it to.
DNA: 	Is that what Evoker is supposed to be? Control over an element?
Kaorin Sakura: 	A Fire Elementalist would be someone who begins with manipulation of Fire and eventually controlling it.
Kaorin Sakura: 	No.
DNA: 	...hm.
Kaorin Sakura: 	An Evoker is a dual Type capability focused class with resistance/immunity gimmicks.
Chloe: 	I'm curious where it will go. As I usually am.

Eclipse: 	His interest is piqued? This probably won't end well.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Every Evoker has three basic features related to their Type - with their strengths chosen by the Evoker.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The other four features differ based on the capabilities available for their dual Type.
DNA: 	Now I'm even more interested. This DEFINITELY won't end well.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Okay, foudn my notes.
Chloe: 	It was a stalling tactic the whole time!
DNA: 	I had a feeling.
Kaorin Sakura: 	I wasn't sure people would have had a real interest.

DNA: 	I...kinda have one. The interest will quickly die off when I see the notes, or it will stick around like a yandere.
Kaorin Sakura: 	So, the base feature for every Evoker is: Gain one of the Types Struggle Altering Capabilities. Gain +5 Competence Damage with attacks of the Type of the capability you did not select.
Kaorin Sakura: 	For example, Evoker E.F. is Evoker of Electric and Fire.

Chloe: 	I am. It reminds me of those unusual color theme decks card games release after a while. Where two types together bring about a whole new set of implications.
Chloe: 	If you explain it like that, Dan might like it more
DNA: 	Dammit Rob just reminded me of Magic: The Gathering
Kaorin Sakura: 	As its base feature, you select either Firestarter or Zapper and gain the capability. If you select Firestarter you gain +5 Competence Damage to all Electric Attacks. If you select Zapper, the competence damage is instead to Fire.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Every Evoker has this base feature - relevent to their dual Type.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The second feature is: Gain the other capability and gain a step of resistance to the Type related to the capability you selected in your base feature.
Avara: 	so if you chose zapper, you get firestarter and resist electric +1 step
Kaorin Sakura: 	For example of Evoker E.F.
If you selected Firestarter as your base feature you would gain Zapper in the second feature and, since you selected Firestarter as your base feature, you resist Fire by one additional step.
DNA: 	reverse ninja
Kaorin Sakura: 	And the third feature is: Resist the Type of the capability you gained in the second feature and gain an immunity to the Type of the capability you selected in the base feature.
Eclipse: 	....Congratulations; you just broke him.
Kaorin Sakura: 	In the example above, if you selected Firestarter with your base feature you would gain a resistance to Electric by one step and gain an immunity to Fire.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Every Evoker has those three features. And they're the three base. All can be obtained at LV1. The others depend on the duality of the Evoker.
DNA: 	I'd assume that 1-2-3 must stll be taken in that order, right?
Kaorin Sakura: 	This is the really boring part of the Evoker class.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Yes.
DNA: 	I thought so.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Each Evoker also has the same capstone. Where they learn an attack that hits for both of their Types.
DNA: 	Now I want to know what the nine pairs are.
Kaorin Sakura: 	In Evoker E.F.'s example, they can hit with an attack every 1d4 rounds that has both the Electric and Fire Type.
Kaorin Sakura: 	In Evoker E.F.'s case, the other three features revolve around its core capabilities of Electric and Fire.
Kaorin Sakura: 	They can gain immunity to both Burn and Paralyze.
DNA: 	That's extremely handy to have.
Kaorin Sakura: 	They can learn to breath Fire and erupt Electricity.
Kaorin Sakura: 	They can gain Heater as a capability and allow that fire breath to inflict the burn condition and that eruption of electricity paralyze.
Avara: 	... kao. i want to make an evoker character.
Avara: 	this sounds really cool.
DNA: 	Sadly, so do I. Hence why Eclipse said that you 'broke' me.
Chloe: 	They seem somewhat dependant on other classes supplying the moves needed to capitalize on these.
Chloe: 	Which isn't a bad thing
DNA: 	...I hope the pairs don't end up being too cliche, like Ground/Rock or Water/Ice...
DNA: 	...though I have a feeling at least a few of them will be.
Chloe: 	some are, some aren't
Kaorin Sakura: 	Unlike Firestarter capability, the Fire Breath is literal "Fire". Like using the Move Flamethrower, it interacts with things like any flame would. Electro Pulse is the same way with any Electric attack, like Thunderbolt. In which it interacts with everything as actual electricity would. Including charging or overloading electronic devices.
Chloe: 	Poison/Fighting jumped out at me when Kaorin was talking earlier
DNA: 	Crazy Frog!
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Evokers are:
DNA: 	I'm going to laugh if Dragon/Fairy is one of them
Chloe: 	I think it might have been
DNA: 	or even Steel/Fairy, for that matter.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Ice/Water = I.W.
Electric/Fire = E.F.
Ground/Rock = G.R.
Flying/Normal = F.N.
Dark/Dragon = D.D.
Fairy/Psychic = F.P.
Bug/Grass = B.G.
Glass/Steel = G.S.
Fighting/Poison = F.P.

DNA: 	...The 3 combos I thought would be in there, were there. Darn.
DNA: 	Guess it makes sense, though.
Avara: 	some typical ones, and some very atypical ones

DNA: 	To me, only Dark/Dragon and Fighting/Poison stand out as atypical.
DNA: 	...That Dark/Dragon one gives me a hideously evil idea...
Chloe: 	Dark/Dragon and Fairy/Psychic oppose each other, amusingly so.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Pr.1.5's Story actually generated these classes. I dunno how long it'll be before you ever encounter them. Or if you'll even recognize it if you do.
DNA: 	How did we generate them, exactly?
Kaorin Sakura: 	Oh. You guys didn't.
DNA: 	...then who did?
Kaorin Sakura: 	A certain place.
DNA: 	...a place I know of?
Avara: 	mount moon?
Kaorin Sakura: 	I'm not gonna say.

DNA: 	I suppose I'll find out. I have a few predictions floating about my head.
Avara: 	evoker hype, tho'.
DNA: 	Indeed. And now that we've been sufficiently hyped...shall we begin?
Kaorin Sakura: 	And, for obvious reasons, images for those classes is friggin' hard to find.
Avara: 	avatar benders sorta work for their relevant combos
Avara: 	firebenders use fire and elec, water uses water and ice, earth uses rock and ground, and air use peaceful methods, beating sticks and wind
Kaorin Sakura: 	Water/Ice? Sure. Bug/Grass? Dark/Dragon? Even Fire/Electric would be tough.
DNA: 	...I actually have to agree with that statement, at least in part.
DNA: 	Fire/Electric is probably easier than it looks.
Kaorin Sakura: 	If you guys find anything that'd be awesome.
DNA: 	I'll keep my eyes peeled. In the meantime I want to see how much progress has been made so I can pore over the classes.

Avara: 	Last time on AEB: A concert was had, after much preparation, which resulted in a cultural revival for the people of Snowpoint begining. Saturn was given a brief dose of warrior therapy by Inbee. And we were deciding if we wanted to smite a siren harp or get a head start on that void pocket Saturn nope'd out of at the start of the campaign.
DNA: 	(Snowmeadow, not Snowpoint, but close enough)

1445 Hours.
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' smiles, happy to see Saturn and the rest of the group in better spirits, "So, what's the agenda for today?" Miss Nobody 'Inbee' grinned as she placed her hands in her pockets, "Rousing an entire town into merry and causing everyone to recall the finer good things of a past life, and getting them to realize they can still enjoy these things, is small stuff to you all, ain't it? Surely this is just the 'brunch' of your day?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Well, we have a choice of what to do next. I'm finished making everyone cloaks and boots for the weather, so we should be able to get around quickly enough. We can go after that siren mystery in the forest, or we can head back to the void pocket now."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I want to finish up that letter for the Starly so he can take his rest and be on his way, but after that...after that, I feel like I can take on the world! ...Thanks a bunch, Inbee."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shrugs, "I ain't do nothing."
	Alsine: 	Alsine smiled and nodded to Saturn.
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' scratched her head a bit, "Well, if you guys wanna help a hero in need - I kind of hijacked a hovercraft from some thieves and had it. Uhm. Sort of stolen."
	Chloe: 	"E-eh?" Chloe said. "What happened?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Saturn quietly smiled back towards Alsine, but her gaze snapped back up at Inbee's comment. "A...hovercraft? Around here?"
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' nodded, "I had never seen one before. But the 'owners' I encountered obviously stole it from someone or somewhere else. I was heading south with it and when I passed by here I blacked out." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shrugged again, "I ended up being awakened by one of the soldiers here and feeling as though I had been walking for days."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Any idea where it might've ended up?"
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shakes her head, "Not a clue. Anything happening around here that you know of that would cause me to black out? Are there any thefts or something like that happening around lately?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Not as far as I could think of; I don't even know if anything weird has happened lately. Though, that's just the past few days. We've been...spelunking a lot lately."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Were you flying over the forest when it happened?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Or through it?"
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' rubs her chin, "Uh, along the road? Its a hovercraft. Not a skyship. It floats gently above ground or water."
	Chloe: 	"There has been a song heard coming from the woods that can mesmorize people. Maybe that caused it? It's related to the job we were going to start looking into."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Alright. The forest mission mentioned something about people going missing, but I don't remember all of it... thank you, Chloe."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' rubs the bridge of her nose, "Hnng...I didn't hear any song. But then I hear a lot of chatter regularly. So maybe I did...?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Would you like to investigate the song of the forest with us? Maybe we'll find your ship along the way."
	Chloe: 	"Hm... what is your range of hearing, Inbee?" Chloe said, trying out the nickname Miss Nobody had mentioned earlier.
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' nods, "Yeah. I couldn't just ask you guys to look into something like that without me!" Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shrugs, "I'm not sure. I can usually pick up frequencies about a city away. Depends on the kind of signal I think."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"But do you remember where you lost consciousness, in relation to this village? We need to have at least a general idea of direction, so we aren't wandering blindly."
	Chloe: 	"That's what I'm wondering. It might be something psychic, magical, subliminal or something else entirely. Each one might change how far away you are sensitive to it, compared to my hearing. That is, if it is the same incident."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shrugs again, "It had just started snowing and it quickly became hard to see where I was exactly. I could still make out the road so I stayed along it. I encountered the craft about 6 or so hours south of Cerulean though. That's all that I remember last. Does that help at all?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I think so, yeah. It means that whoever stole the craft might have been isolated by the snowstorm, which means they're most likely still north of here."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"......right...?" She seemed unsure of herself.
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"That sounds reasonable."
	Chloe: 	"I wouldn't trust any vehicle to stay put. But a hovercraft isn't about to leave any tracks so looking where it was last seen is our only choice."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	"The thieves? They sped off southwest. I injured one pretty good though." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' folded her arms and nodded proudly, "Cut him in his upper thigh down to the bone. I don't imagine he'll last long with an injury like that."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Which means we should start off by heading northwest from here..."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"A hovercraft would use some method to push off of the surface below. Wouldn't that leave some sort of trail? Though... not a deep enough one after all this time."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Or, going north until we can see where they deviated from the main road. Then again, Inbee may be able to remember that point."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' rubbed the back of her neck again, "I------like the idea of going northwest. I can't recall an area well when I couldn't make out much save for the road. The snow was pretty blinding."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"You...you do?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"It sounds like the best chance, yes. If the thieves didn't take it back, they still might have seen what happened."
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' blinks, "Did I say something strange? I meant it. Was it a joke?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"No, that's not it, I... am just surprised you thought my idea was a good idea..."
	Natasha: 	"Hehehe, uw vertrouwen is als een yo-yo!"
You whisper to Chloe: Heheheh, your confidence is like a yo-yo!
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	"It was pretty sound to me. Are you guys okay with it?"
	Chloe: 	"Vertrouwen kan worden als dat , totdat je aan wennen. Hee hee."
Chloe whispers: Confidence can be like that until you get used to it.
	Chloe: 	"It sounds like fun!" Chloe replied.
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"I'm fine with it too. Let's get going?--oh, Inbee."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Do you have anything for the cold weather?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Saturn looked a little sheepish at the remarks, but it was in jest, so she bounced back quickly.
	Chloe: 	"Oh, right. I forgot to ask..." Chloe said. She had assumed Inbee's mechanical nature was enough to help her, not that Jennifer had any knowledge of that.
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' nods sagely, "Absolutely." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' pats her chest, "I can transform into my special silverness."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"I... don't know what that is. But if it works, it works."

	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	"I am very squishy as I am." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' says, tapping various parts of her body, "But I can become silverness when needed. I don't really feel much when I do. Least of all weather."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I just hope it doesn't become too cold..."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Alright. What about moving through the snow?"
	Chloe: 	"Were the roads clear when you walked down them Inbee?"
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	Miss Nobody 'Inbee' shrugs, "Snow doesn't bother me. It slows me down some, sure." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' turns to Chloe, "Before the hovercraft? Yes. After? I was here when I came to."

	Chloe: 	"If we're heading off road to go northwest, it won't matter as much. And we don't have protective clothing for a mount that might be able to travel easily through the snow. It's a shame the mouselium doesn't go northwest."
* Saturn Rosewell found a quiet spot nearby to start writing out a letter to send to that Starly, before they ended up choosing a path out of town. Thankfully she knew exactly what she wanted to write down.
	Miss Nobody 'Inbee': 	"I'm sure you guys had things well thought out for your next venture. Just let me know when you're ready to begin the trek." Miss Nobody 'Inbee' nods to the group.
	Chloe: 	"I think we will be soon. Saturn has an errand to run, I had better say some goodbyes and thank yous to everyone whose been nice to us while we stayed here."
	Chloe: 	Chloe waved to Inbee and left to the Inn they stayed at first, giving her farewells to them and thanking them for all the delicious meals and amazing baths! It was going to be hard on the road again.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I wonder if we'll ever come back to Snowmeadow again, or if we're going to go straight on to Cerulean..." Saturn quietly whispered to herself.

The bark is a solid, deep black which is where the named was obviously coined. Though you're unsure as to how 'precious' this wood is. A flicker of electricity glimmers just behind the mouth of the entrance.

Chloe: 	"So you have another magikarp Mr..." Chloe asked of the Lonely Trainer.
	Lone Trainer: 	"You guys make it look so easy..."
* Valerie Ylsef hands Saturn a potion to throw on Targkon
* Saturn Rosewell catches, and it's used on Targkon, who recovers 30 HP!
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"We used tactics and worked together. It's not as easy as telling your mon to attack another mon. You have to be able to think strategically. The basics of that is type science--you'd start with something that can't hit water types very well and send your 'karp, or Gyarados, against that."
	Targkon: 	Targkon is healed and gains 30 hit points.
* Jennifer Attaway proceeds to go into a basic lecture on how to be a not-derp trainer. Pokemon Education to provide the best info she can.
	Valerie Ylsef : 	"If you want, I do have a companion that would be more than willing to coach you into the particulars."
	Valerie Ylsef : 	"He's also pretty handy in a fight for the most part. A little excentric though, but you get over that pretty easily."

	Lone Trainer: 	Lone Trainer looks around and nods to Chloe, "I do and..." Lone Trainer shuffled a bit uneasily, being offered Pokémon when he was dead weight.

	Pyromanche: 	"IN DA FACEEEEE!!!!!"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Perhaps a trade is in order? Chloe, you did mention you wanted to trade before we left Snowmeadow."
	Chloe: 	"Well, I have two pokemon of one species. And so do you, it sounds like. I thought we might trade?"
	Lone Trainer: 	"I have four." Lone Trainer looks over to Gyarados, "...Three Magikarp."
	Valerie Ylsef : 	"You think you, would be up to learning this guy the ropes of the whole, how not to get blown up?"
	Pyromanche: 	"Uhh...."
	Valerie Ylsef : 	"He went after a pikachu with magikarp..."
	Pyromanche: 	"OH! I CAN DO THAT!!! IN DA FACE!!!!!"

	Chloe: 	"This is longbrook, a grass water type. If you're good with water pokemon, you might get along with him." Chloe said.
* Jennifer Attaway looks to Saturn.

	Chloe: 	"I haven't really used him in battle yet," Chloe said sheepishly, "So there is a lot left to train."

	Longbrook: 	Longbrook looked surprised at the cold weather. And mildly uncomfortable.

	Lone Trainer: 	Lone Trainer rubs the back of his neck, "Well...if I'd be getting a tutor from such a loud Pokémon and a new Water Type..." Lone Trainer selects his other Pokéball he hadn't used yet and holds it out to Chloe, "There's this one. But its a little weird."
	Chloe: 	"Sounds like it will fit in perfectly with us!" Chloe beamed.
	Lone Trainer: 	"It's normal as far as I can tell. Except its purple."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Yeah, that sounds good for us. Collectors of the strange and unusual."
	Chloe: 	"Aw~ I have a purple beedrill! Well, not really a beedrill... it's complicated."
	Chloe: 	"But I would love to trade." Chloe held out Longbrook's Friend Ball.
	Lone Trainer: 	Lone Trainer nodded and pulled out his Pokédex. He scanned Chloe's Pokéball and then his own. He then waited for Chloe to draw her Pokédex.
	Chloe: 	((I'm not sure if she has one, but she has traded before. And has a trainer ID at least))
Lone Trainer: (( If you never bought one, you don't have one. ))
Lone Trainer: (( And iirc, she always traded while in a city. ))
	Chloe: 	"I don't have a pokedex..." Chloe said sheepishly.
