  1. In the goblin, imp, orc(something like that?) kingdom..the prison was made of brown stones and rough slabs of pumice. The torch light was a warm break in the gloom and it was gentle on her eyes.
  2. her cell was well furnished and the bars looked freshly put in place though they had no door. the door was off to the side in the wall , were four stairs lead down to the cobble stone floor. She liked the dark it made her feel safe and no one would look at her. It was also kept very hot so the chill was never allowed to set in, thanks to a large metal vent that lead down under the keep. She could hear the shrill voices of goblins as they stoked the fires under her, and the heat blasted up into her tiny room. Sometimes they would shout up mockery and she in turn to shut them up would roar down the vent shaft to their squeals and snickers.
  3. The walls that were not open to the bars hung with soft crushed velvet, most like to make her more comfortable and a poor attempt to erase the gloom of this obvious prison. Even with the heat vent, she also had pot bellied stove in the corner, glowing warmly when the guards were insturcted to throw coal or wood between the bars for her use. Beside the stove a tiny cabinet and table were littered with cutlery, cups and dull knives. It seemed they did not fear her. Though the guards were not permitted to enter her cell so there was no chance of her being able to attack them.
  4. The only person who did enter her cell, was Ein.
  5. Ein, the prince. Though what title is The Goblin Prince to brag about outside his own walls?
  6. She liked the dim of her cell then, because she would hide against the velvet, and avoid his gaze.
  7. Ein, like the rest of the royal family, did not look like a goblin, orc or imp. He was tall but compared to her species, most other people were. His hair was dark as honey and often flattened in swirls and stuck to his forehead in sweat or moisture. He was built more like a black smith than royalty, thick fingers and a strong chest. though he kept his face clean shaven and he was not un-comely when he pushed his hair back and revealed his dark green eyes. When he smiled his lip pulled up revealing his canines and his eyebrows twitched. He always announced his presence with deliberate foot falls.
  8. He was considerate to not surprise her. His voice would echo off the walls and she knew to slide into a corner and crush herself to the shadows as he paced infront of her prison bars, the curtains infront of them would pull back to let in some light. and she could feel him watching her as she fummbled for an opening in the velvet walls and slink behind it. But they were solid cloth and he unlocked the heavy wooden door and would step carefully into her room and greet her.
  9. She never spoke to him. She hardly spoke unless it was to request something, she was allowed books or clean dishes and once a cloak to wear over her gown that she'd been braught here in.
  10. She found the corner beside her vent and pressed into it, to be small as possible and Ein was almost laughing at her attempt while her heart wildly flapped. Step, another..closer. He was blocking her in entirely now. She ground her spine against the stone and waited nervously for what he was here for.
  11. Ein softly smiled..and muttered something, gentle. Though the langauge was garbled and unfamiliar to her. He reached out to take her hand that was fummbling uselessly at the wall fabric, his hand was warm and swallowed her fist entirely. She felt like a chicken about to start squacking. Then he leaned in closer..his lips brushed hers in a gust of breath and pointy stubble and she cried out and quickly turned away.
  12. That was the first time he'd ever touched her. Ein gave her his usual smile, eyebrows arching and he softly laughed and let her go, stepping back on his way to leave. His eyes were hurt. Before leaving her alone to her blessed candle light again, He asked clearly.
  13. "What is your name?"
  14. "Kae. . . " She whispered hoarsely. And the door clicked shut.
  15. (other details not given in the dream: She has a sister Maelyn who is the actual princess and soon to be made queen of her people. They are twins.. Ein at first stole Kaesa thinking she was Maelyn, to marry her and give his falling apart kingdom some money and stability. But he realized she wasnt actualy Maelyn, but hasnt told her that and is willing to wait for her to speak to him in her own time. Kaesa and Maelyn are a kind of fairy species, not sure what. they are small, child sized maybe like most 7 year olds and have white hair and skin. They have large eyes, sometimes they look alien. and they have small noses and live in the forest. Kaesa isnt very important to her kingdom, since Maelyn will most likely marry and have children after grandchild and all that, and Kaesa is struggling with even wanting to return to their land)
