Welcome newfriend! So you've stumbled upon /tf/ somehow and now you think you matter enough to become a regular poster. You're in luck since /tf/ is long past its prime time and is now just a shadow of its former self that people refuse to let die. So in order to get you started on your circlejerking ways, you'll have to know the basic info and rules of /tf/.

 

First and foremost, /tf/ was made by Kroni(e). Anyone who says otherwise is retarded and refuses to acknowledge the fact that without him, /tf/ wouldn't exist. As the creator of /tf/, he is also the biggest cancer and circlejerker in denial. He needs /tf/, like /tf/ needs him. Remember that fact, and dealing with him is easy!

 

So what is /tf/? /tf/ is basically a general where tripfags/namefags blog about their shit lives and discuss random topics that someone happens to bring up. Not hard to get.

 

To begin, you may think you'll simply stay anonymous for whatever reason and that'll be good enough. Sorry friend, but it won't be. If you intend to be a true /tf/ member and fit in, you'll have to pick up a name and start using images with almost every post. Avatarfagging without a name won't be good enough. Stuttering and using tildes is a option as well, but that's only after you already have a name. Abuse either of them however, and your attempt at "cuteposting" becomes anti-cuteposting that no one likes. Put sage in the email field even though it serves no purpose, its just if you want to look cool.

 

/tf/ doesn't have many rules but one important one is to not respond to Perma. Another one is that if you plan on making the OP you have to use a cute anime image that isn't a reaction image nor a screenshot, and must be a entirely new image never used before, and you may never use that image again. Not even for cuteposting.

Doesn't seem like a meme at first glance to a outsider but in order to fully grasp the epicness of this meme, you have to know that irony that is so obvious its irony is irony itself. Which means its irony on top of irony which then makes it ironic. And the more ironic something is, the more epic it is.
