  1. **Posting on behalf of KoalaCS**
  2.
  3. A bit of background information: One morning I was alerted by one of my friends that they had just been scammed from the real CSGODouble. I instantly knew he'd fell for some trick from someone but I still checked anyway. After looking into it I saw that there was a new thread with a coin stealing bot as well as some other things you can see in the video and screenshots.
  4.
  5. I looked into this for a while and then found out one of the moderators in the group was advertising it. Apparently moderators are a trusted source for extensions and scripts which my friend believed and trusted him due to the errors with depositing and withdraw bots.
  6.
  7. This coin stealer then stole 1,000$ worth of CSGODouble coins from my friend and deposited it into the account of the guy who owns the coin stealer. The guy who it deposited the coins to was friends with the moderator on Steam which shows that it is a potential alternate account and I show the script being activated.
  8.
  9. I contacted 2 moderators of CSGODouble after this. The first one basically just ignored me and told me he already knew whereas the second one actually assisted and added me on Steam. He said he would contact the owner of the site and have him resolve this and refund my friend and he would contact me as soon as this was done. The account which scammed the coins was removed as a moderator from the group as a result of me finding this out and contacting him.
  10.
  11. The thread with the withdrawal fix AKA Coin Stealer was visible for 2 days before it was eventually deleted despite me bringing it to their attention within 2 hours of it being released. Many people lost coins as when the original new thread was created the 100,000 users in the Steam group were notified unless they had turned the notifications off which basically meant that a lot of people fell victim to this. I have seen over 20 people commenting regarding them losing coins to the moderators which have all been ignored despite it 100% not being their fault due to trusting a script on the owner of the sites post aswell as a moderators post.
  12.
  13. The moderator I was in contact with has since not replied to any of my steam messages over the past 3 days since originally contacting him and it doesn't look like they're going to be refunding my friend despite me not showing this video to anyone. They also look like they aren't going to refund anyone.
  14.
  15. So here is some proof on the situation and some gyazo's below aswell as the video. If a site which normally has 5,000 concurrent users online can allow this to happen and not refund the users for their mistakes then I would stay clear.
  16.
  17. If you are from CSGODouble and would like to contact me regarding this. Feel free to PM me and I'll get back to you.
  18.
  19. TL:DR - Popular gambling site CSGODouble allowed a coin stealing script to be published from a moderator and owner of the site and left it visible on their steam group with over 100,000 steam users for over 48 hours and a lot of users lost coins as they trusted this site including my friend who lost 1,000$ worth of coins.
  20.
  21. TL:DR 2: CSGODouble allow scammer to be moderator in steam group for months.
  22.
  23. Scammer creates thread which notifies 100,000 steam group users with a scam script that is trusted because it comes from official moderator.
  24.
  25. People use this script including my friend and lose all of their coins, my friend lost 1000$, a lot more people probably lost 10k+ overall (100k users and everyone was notified).
  26.
  27. Thread gets deleted but real thread from owner gets edited and the pastebin with the coin stealer is visible for over 48 hours.
  28.
  29. I notify staff of the group, one doesn't care whereas the other helps and tells me he can try and get everyone refunded and will keep me on his list and keep me informed. Ignores me for 3 days whilst loading up several games over that period of time.
  30.
  31. NO ONE HAS BEEN REFUNDED AND THEY WILL MOST LIKELY SAY THAT IT WAS THE USERS FAULT DESPITE SAYING THAT THEY CAN TRUST MODERATORS ETC AND IT BEING POSTED ON AN OFFICIAL THREAD CREATED BY THE OWNER.
  32.
  33. People deserve their money back. Feel free to contact me Foobar.
