Good afternoon [insert location here]! It's such a pleasure to be in front of you all speaking in support of my colleague and close friend, John Saunders. Ladies and gentlemen, when I was young, I remember how vibrant and productive this nation's manufacturing sector was. Our nation dominated manufacturing, from cars, to clothes, to steel - everything. Seeing a "Made in the USA" label was entirely normal, and nobody thought anything of it. It was an industry where a man could get a job, work hard, and support a family off his paycheck. It was the kind of job you could be proud of and one that could give you a comfortable life. But sadly, that's changed.

Today, America's manufacturing sector is a hollow shell of what it once was. If you look at something you have in your hand or that you're wearing right now, I can guarantee you that at least one item - from your shirt to your shoes to your cell phone - will say it was made in China. And while China and other Asian countries now manufacture most of the world's goods, America's workers get shafted. The money that you spend on those items doesn't go to a hardworking American, but to a sweatshop owner in China. This is wrong, and it has to change. With President Saunders in the Oval Office, it will.

Throughout his career, John Saunders has been committed to taking on China, lowering taxes, and bringing jobs back to America. In this last Congress, Senator Saunders spearheaded a bipartisan effort to pass the Bring Jobs Home Act, an act that was signed into law which offered tax breaks to companies to move jobs back to America. Furthermore, Saunders' foreign policy experience will make him a president who can truly tackle China head-on, bring "Made in the USA" back to store shelves, and puts wages in the pockets of American manufacturing workers.

We need a president who's not going to dance around when it comes to China, a president who's serious about lowering taxes and allowing Americans to keep more of what they earn, a president who is committed to bringing jobs to the USA.
