  1. ONE MORE TEST NEEDED FOR THE LAST IMAGE TO BE TRANSLATED!

  3. There is an animated logo scrolled onto the screen when the game is drawn (Ryuukyoku). It's not a problem to get to that point. So I used a test image with black background to see where the game engine crops the main image (ryuukyoku.bin), and editing the image was easy.

  5. However, in the same image (ryuukyoku.bin) there are 4 kanji for Nagashi Mangan, in 2x2 configuration. The "boxes" around which the game engine crops these are definitely NOT the same as for Ryuukyoku, as they are aligned differently. I can't say if that transparent logo comes from 4 corners into center, one kanji at a time, or does it simply show in two lines coming in adjacently with 2 kanji each (top line and bottom line). I need to test it. But Nagashi is HARD to get.

  7. So, for all of you feeling lucky and having good will to help out, try this. In the Saikyo no Mahjong 3D folder, at the same location where the main EXE file is located, you have one file called ryuukyoku_testnagashi.bin. Go to data\mj_state\ folder and note there's ryuukyoku.bin file there. Back it up! Just call it differently, doesn't matter, the game won't look for anything else than "ryuukyoku.bin". Now, rename ryuukyoku_testnagashi.bin to ryuukyoku.bin and place it to the data\mj_state\ folder.

  9. What did we do? If you rename the file extension to BMP instead of BIN, you will notice that I gave the kanji for Nagashi Mangan a black background. This will void transparency and it would clearly show where engine crops the image! Now, I just need ONE lucky guy to get Nagashi and SCREENSHOT IT! Take a couple of screenshots, as the logo is probably scrolling into the screen! If you can capture how it scrolls that would be most helpful!
