  1. Dear Darvellan, the Lost Navigator
  2. It is truly a wonder that You have come back to Lusternia, as Lusternia had quite a large chance of not existing for You to return to. Of course, seeing as how You knew full well that it was a possibility, You must have been very surprised to find the Beacon. Abandoning the First World when it needed you most is simply Divine when it comes to being the First of Deserters, a title truly worthy of Your judgment and might. Your fellow Elders, who bled, died, sharded, fought, sacrificed their own beings for the sake of Lusternia, must surely be overjoyed to see Your return - except for the ones who can see through your lies and excuses.
  3. To anyone with half a wit, Your noted reasoning for being absent - a mission from Meridian - crumbles under any logical observation. While it already shows incompetence of an unforgivable degree that a simple search or rescue took You the eons that the Elder, Vernal *and* Taint Wars took, give or take a few centuries, it is simply a cardboard veil for Your true cowardice. Meridian told You to search? It is such a pity that Meridian is dead and cannot corroborate Your tale, leaving You the sole source of information regarding Your absence. Or perhaps that was just as planned? It makes no sense that Meridian would keep a search for survivors of the Soulless a secret - Xyl or any other astrologer could have aided immensely in pinpointing areas that appeared suspiciously lively in the Void. The most logical answer is that there wasn't any mission at all.
  4. I hope You have planned out some time to notice this accusation. Except, what is it that You have done with all of Your other accusers? Have You answered them in words, to try providing evidence, to put any logical defence up to show the Basin that You are truly noble? No. You have done nothing but respond with brute force, disfavours, the removal of anything You do not like from Your presence, so that You do not have to deal with it. After all, if You simply flick away anything 'Tainted' from you out of fear of what they might *say*, they no longer exist to You, correct? It is fine, babes do not have any concept of object permanence anyway. All of that time in the Void must surely have stunted Your maturity. Perhaps if You had planned better, You could have found Amberle and brought Her back before the Soulless devoured Meridian and all of the other Elders. Oh, wait. We've established that even in the theoretical reality where You had a reason to be gone, You failed anyway.
  5. I'm sure you had a marvelous, wonderful adventure. A great adventure. And it has to be a great adventure with hundreds of stories that You can share. Except You haven’t, have you? For some reason You want to spend the time You spent in the Void a complete secret because You don’t want everyone to know that You spent the entire time fleeing for Your life. The Pyresmith is very right to be angry with you. You cower because in Your heart, you know Him -and your other accusers- to be right. Even Your allies should not believe You. They only tolerate You because of the power you might be able to bring now that there's no danger to Your self, that You can act with impunity in safety. The First of the Deserters with the First Traitor, Lisaera. How long until She betrays You, as well?
  6. You deserve nothing but death.
  7. -ur'Marshal Marcella n'Lochli, Loremaster of the Tower, Shard of Orlachmar the Furious
