- >> HOW TO MODIFY HOST'S FILE ON OPENELEC/LIBREELEC OS <<
- 1) On Windows PC open File Explorer or equivalent, Enter '\\libreelec\Configfiles' or '\\openelec\Configfiles' into addressbar depending on your Operating System on your device.
- 2) Right Click on 'hosts.conf' file
- 3) Select 'Open With', then Select Notepad
- 4) Enter '104.251.218.27 mf.svc.nhl.com' (without quotations) at bottom of page (below #'s)
- 5) Goto 'File', then 'Save'
- 6) All Done! (see below for example of what hosts.conf file should look like)
- EXAMPLE OF HOSTS.CONF FILE:
- # hosts.conf
- # This configuration file allows you to manually map hostnames to
- # IP addresses
- # Format: <ipaddress> <hostname1> <hostname2>
- # Example: 192.168.0.3 libreelec libreelec.mynetwork
- # NOTE: do not edit /etc/hosts directly
- # edit /storage/.config/hosts.conf then reboot
- 104.251.218.27 mf.svc.nhl.com
