  1. I Detective Honor Fitch on the date 12/01/17 responded to a 911 call about an African-American male shot in the back of the head around Pizza Stacks. Upon arriving there were several suspicious males surrounding the body. After some time I managed to get them to back it up a little. I called in for back-up as I was on my own and I was in a well populated area of what seemed very angry and emotionally upset people. Staff Sergeant Travis Dawson, Lieutenant Franklin Clarke, Detective Sergeant James Saxton, all arived on scene after I had called. While I was examining the body, Akio Hyun-Shik approached me and said to me he had seen who did it. He informed me that he had seen an older Mexican male pull up and shoot Teddy Jones into the head twice before taking off in his black car down to El Corona. After I had finished taking pictures of the body, I went into Pizza stack and had a quick word with the workers, letting them know who I was and that I needed to see their CCTV footage of the last half hour or so. While I was watching the video, I could clearly see that Akio Hyun-Shik was lying and it was in fact him who pulled the trigger. Teddy Jones pulled a weapon on some people fighting on the streets before Akio Hyun-Shik withdrew his pistol, turned to the side and shot Teddy Jones into the back of the skull twice. After realising that Akio was lying to me, I went out and informed the other deputies on scene. I spotted Akio around five minutes later in a yellow 1972 Chevrolet Nova, the same one I had seen him getting into after he shot Teddy on CCTV. I told Lieutenant Franklin Clarke and he went around and managed to snap a picture of the license plates, after we ran them on the Moblie Data Computer we found that they were either fake plates, or it was unregistered. I put out a BOLO for the Nova. The next day I pull over another Chevrolet Nova belonging to Liang Hyun-Shik, Akio Hyun-Shik approaced me and said something before getting on his motorcycle and going back to Idlewood Pizza Stacks and had a conversation with some people. I followed him over and I parked across the street, radio'd in that I have spotted the shooter. Akio Hyun-Shik went back to the scene of the crime a day later in the exact same clothes as he was wearing when he shot Teddy Jones. He got on his bike after some time and we followed him and performed a 10-66 Felony stop on him. We brought him into the interview room and he was very un-cooperative. We filed for a warrent for his properties in hopes that we would find the weapon he used to kill Teddy Jones. We found a Ruger GP100 in his safe.
