  1. Frisk FP Outline
  2.
  3. Theme: Learn to live for you, and frick everybody else.
  4.
  5. They have to learn to cope with Chara in their life rather than trying to get rid of them. They have to live life for themselves and move on from trying to push Chara away on the daily basis. The Friendship Arc is about Frisk realizing that they can’t keep living their life fearing what Chara might try to do every day (maybe in a sense Chara feeds off of this fear), but understanding that Chara may be there to stay, but there are people who support and love Frisk and are not around just because they are a pity case, but a genuine person with real feelings. The MC realizes that Frisk doesn’t need help to handle Chara, and allows Frisk to handle things on their own. And because of this, knowing that the MC is there because of Frisk and NOT because of Chara, Chara slowly drifts away and finally, at the end, vanishes LIKE A GHOST. GHOST.
  6.
  7. Brainstorming:
  8. Events: 2 Cases of Frisk having panic attacks/Chara trying to take over.
  9. Hangout 1: Frisk Painting/ arts and crafts
  10. Event: 1 case of Frisk having panic attacks/Chara trying to take over.
  11. Event: Frisk is insecure and nervous about discussing Chara with you, however 1 mandatory event where Frisk mentions and explains who chara is and why they keep fighting themselves over control (whenever the MC is at a certain fp level with Frisk) (This event also HAS to happen before any other events can be triggered to keep the FP route going, so this event wont be triggered until the player has a certain amount of FP)
  12. (After this event occurs, the option “Check Up On Frisk” or in general dialogue to “ask how Frisk is feeling, or if they are okay” will appear. Which then the player must click one of these options a certain amount of times for the major event later on to occur {event where frisk is all “are you here for me OR FOR ME”} )
  13. Sidequest?
  14. Give Frisk a reason why they would doubt the player’s trust/loyalty. (A general dialogue
  15. Event: A simple event where Frisk looks bothered by something, however the reason behind it is quite small. But the MC here will assume it’s bigger than that, and has a chance to ask whether it’s Chara bugging them again or if they’ll be okay. We then find out that it’s just frustration over something miniscule. (Frisk could be searching for the headphones that they borrowed from Napstablook, and that could be the cause for their worried expression. So if the MC decides to ask if the issue is actually Chara or if they’re alright, they could be like “yo wtf i just want my shit dude”)
  16. Event: another misassumption event where the player might spot Frisk once again in what looks to be a sad/upset/panicky state, and assumes either something’s terribly wrong or that it’s Chara again. → at this point Frisk is pretty close to getting snippy with the MC about them constantly assuming Chara is being an issue.
  17. Event: (Player has to have asked frisk a certain amount of times if they’re alright/how they’re doing in order for this event to start, that way Frisk will have doubt over the MC’s trust/loyalty.) 1 major event where once the player has enough friendship points with Frisk, Frisk demands to know whether the player actually is sticking around because of Chara or because they actually wanna be friends with Frisk
  18. This can lead to A) ending positively with Frisk and the MC continuing on the FP route… or B) ending negatively where Frisk yells that they aint no pity case, and will avoid MC for a certain amount of days, even if the MC bumps into them at random chance in certain rooms, MC will either not be allowed to talk to Frisk, or Frisk will leave the room with some sort of narration like “Frisk walked away.” or something. After a week, there will be aNOTHER mandatory event (kinda like a last chance to fix the FP route) where the player can find Frisk and talk to them, however they are possessed by Chara.
  19. Chara will taunt the MC about not wanting Frisk around, and now the MC has to go through dialogue shit, as well as explain why they do like frisk and want to get to know them more. This will either lead towards aborting the FP route due to poor choices, or successfully fixing the FP route and Frisk overcoming Chara’s control once more, as well as accepting MC’s apology
  20. Hangout 2: help frisk sneak out to Grillby’s, maybe bump into sans and chat with grillby there.
  21. Event: (after a successful 2nd hangout, another panic attack, only this time they mention they can handle it themselves. It’s not as bad as the first three, and MC recognizes that Frisk is handling things a lot more calmly) when MC gets frisk back to Toriel’s house, MC would lead a heart to heart talk about Frisk admitting to Toriel that they've been sneaking out.
  22. Sidequest?
  23. Event: One more event where Frisk is showing progress on their own and demonstrates that they don’t need the help of the MC to handle Chara.
  24. Event: One more friendship-y event where they appreciate having met the MC (They’re glad that they aren’t the only human living underground anymore. While they have made plenty of friends, it hasn’t felt the same without the company of another human being. Frisk could also mention that although they never thought about going back to the surface again without their monster friends, they began wondering what life is like on the surface ever since the MC appeared.)
  25. Hangout 3: Somewhere in Waterfall maybe. Chillaxin. And while they’re enjoying the view and shoving their feets in the water that people probably drink, they could talk with the player about how to get out the underground, and if it is possible and etc.
  26. Event: where Frisk explains more about Chara and paints them in a better light than we would assume since ya know they’re a psychopath and all.
  27. Final event: where they don't feel chara anymore???? Cuz chara dipped????
  28. Friendship Route Ending
  29.
  30. Synopsis: The route will consist of Frisk learning to cope with having Chara in their life, and finding that Chara leaves them in the end (because they can handle their own issues). It starts off with Frisk having two panic attacks featuring Chara’s attempts to take over (which fail). Frisk and the MC meet up for a hangout after that major event where they are painting or doing arts and crafts. Another panic attack would ensue in the event to follow, which would prompt Frisk to tell the MC about their issues with Chara, who they are, and why they keep fighting over control. After that happens, Frisk would begin to doubt the player’s loyalty when they start questioning whether or not every panic attack that happens afterwards is a result of Chara. An event will occur where Frisk is troubled over something miniscule, however the MC will assume that it’s something of a larger scale and question them. Once the player questions them enough times, one major event will begin where Frisk questions whether the MC is there for them or for their issues with Chara. (This can have two endings, which are discussed….up there. ya.) When the issue of the MC harassing Frisk about their troubles is ‘resolved’, a short fun hangout will follow alongside another event where Frisk shows their progress with Chara and talks to the MC about how much they appreciate them. This will prompt hangout 3 where the two are relaxing in Waterfall and discuss a possible way out of the Underground. After all of that happens, an event where Frisk gets a little more in depth about Chara and who they are, which will all lead into the final event where they are no longer plagued by Chara’s presence. Yay.
  31.
  32. The ending to this route shows that the MC and Frisk are pretty much best friends, and while they never get out of the Underground, the MC and Frisk have awesome happy times so long as they are by each others side.(Maybe with a cute friendship necklace thing, similar to what Asriel gave to Chara and Chara to Asriel blah blah).
  33.
  34.
  35. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^Something like this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  36.
  37.
  38. Event 1: The MC catches Frisk somewhere in the ruins dealing with, what looks to be, a panic attack. So the MC tries to make sure that Frisk is doing alright. After everything’s calmed down, Frisk introduces themselves, the MC doing the same, and the two of them either head back to the house together, or Frisk says they will meet the MC there.
  39. Event 2: The MC will once again find Frisk at a random location in the Ruins having another small crisis, begging someone to leave them alone and to back off(this time it will be more intense and seem a bit darker, maybe even mentioning that “there’s no time anymore” in relation to there now being another human so Chara feels there’s no more time for fooling around and they want to take over NOW). You rush to Frisk’s aid like before to try and calm them down, and eventually they do calm down. They thank the MC for being there again, calling the MC ‘lucky’.
  40. Hangout 1: Frisk is prepping materials for them to begin painting in their room, and they ask the MC if they’d like to join, thus starting the hangout. (Or, the MC will ask Frisk if they’d like to hang out, in which it leads to Frisk suggesting them painting.) This is where they talk a bit more about Frisk’s hobbies and interests, maybe more about how they feel on Toriel, and then the MC can talk about themselves too.
  41. Event 3: While the MC is passing Frisk’s room sometime during the evening, Frisk’s door is cracked open a bit and the MC can hear Frisk talking to someone. They peek in and find out they’re talking to themselves. Frisk is talking to someone about trying to share their body equally. Trying to make some sort of deal, which suddenly leads to the other person being restless and Frisk pleading for them to let Frisk live their life. “Why are you acting out so much lately? It wasn’t like this before.” MC has the chance to either knock and intervene, or to pretend they never saw anything and go away.
  42. >If the player chooses to avoid confrontation, this should affect attribute points as well as FP points.
  43. Event 4: Frisk gets a bit nervous and insecure about talking to the MC about their panic attacks, however they feel the need to do so since the MC has been there for them through most of their ‘panic attacks’ since their arrival. Frisk explains about Chara, mentioning who Chara is and why they keep fighting themselves over full control. They don’t get too detailed about Chara, they just mainly explain that they are sharing one body with two people, and while it may seem like split personality disorder, it’s something else.
  44. >After this event, the option to “Check up on Frisk” or to “Ask if Frisk’s alright.” in regular dialogue will appear more often.
  45. Sidequest 1: A random Frisk involved sidequest. Sidequests don’t pertain to the main story, but can provide bonus points towards FP or attributes
  46. Event 5: Somewhere in the Ruins, the MC catches Frisk looking bothered/troubled by something. The MC will assume it’s a big problem, possibly pertaining to Chara, and has a chance to ask whether it’s Chara bugging them again or if they’ll be alright. We then find out that it’s just frustration over Frisk searching for the headphones that they borrowed from Napstablook, and that could be the cause for their worried expression. So if the MC decides to ask if the issue is actually Chara or if they’re alright, Frisk can get a bit upset at the assumption, and clarify that it’s just them trying to remember where they last put it. They explain that it’s no where in their room, and it’s no where in the house, so this event could be a mini-quest of hunting for Napstablook’s headphones.
  47. Event 6: Another misassumption event where the player spots Frisk once again in what looks to be a sad/upset/panicky state in any area between the Ruins and Snowdin. The MC will spot Frisk and assumes either something’s terribly wrong or that it’s something that involves Chara again. And because of this, Frisk will snap on the player for having constantly assumed that every time Frisk is even slightly upset, it’s due to Chara. Frisk explains that not every problem they’re having has to do with Chara, and that the MC doesn’t have to constantly ask if Chara’s an issue or if Frisk is ‘okay’. After this, Frisk storms off.
  48. Event 7: Major event where Frisk decides to approach the MC (in any setting whenever the MC bumps into Frisk somewhere around the Ruins) demanding to know whether the player is actually wanting to befriend them, and sees Frisk as their own person, or whether the MC only considers Frisk as mentally unstable and in need of help and assistance 24/7. Frisk feels that after having gotten to know each other for some time, they would really enjoy being friends, however they feel a bit distrustful because the MC is constantly asking how Frisk feels as if they can’t handle things on their own. “I don’t need friends who look down at me, I need friends who are there to just be my friend. I can take care of myself, I’m not a child.”
  49. A) There can be an ending where Frisk and the MC continue down the FP route, after the MC apologizes for making Frisk feel this certain way. The two can make amends and after apologies are shared and swapped, Frisk appreciates MC’s concern on how they’re doing, but doesn’t want to use the MC as a crutch. They ask the MC to trust them, since they’ve been handling this all these years without them around, and the MC accepts.
  50. B) There can also be an ending where MC explains that they’re overly worried about Frisk’s health, and they admit they’re mostly sticking around just to make sure they’re okay. Frisk yells that they aren’t a pity case and will avoid the MC for a certain amount of days (preferably a week), even if the MC bumps into them at random chance in certain rooms, MC will either not be allowed to talk to Frisk, or Frisk will leave the room. After an established amount of days, there will be another mandatory event where the player can find Frisk and get another chance at talking to them, however they are possessed by Chara.
  51. This will be the first(and possibly only chance) the MC will meet Chara. Chara will taunt the MC about not wanting Frisk around, and also being thankful that the MC “upset Frisk enough to release them”. Now the MC has to go through some dialogue talk from Chara, explaining why Frisk isn’t in the mood to talk to the MC, as well as the MC explaining why they want to talk to Frisk and they really are willing to be friends with Frisk. MC explains wanting to get to know Frisk more, and proceeds to ‘kindly’ ask Chara to let Frisk come back. If the MC completes this, then the FP route can be continued as if this event never happened; Frisk overcoming Chara’s control once more, as well as accepting MC’s apology. If the MC fails, then the FP route is aborted.
  52. Hangout 2: The MC can ask for another hangout if, after event 7, they have enough FP points. Either Frisk will wake the MC up if they are sleeping at Toriel’s house, or Frisk will call the MC on the phone and ask to meet at the Ruins door. Frisk and the MC proceed to ‘sneak out’ to Grillby’s to eat and hang out, talking about food, Frisk’s favorite people/monsters, and of course more about what the MC might like. They also both get chances to talk with Sans and Grillby depending on the player’s relationship with them. After the food is done and the evening is over, the MC helps escort Frisk back to the Ruins.
  53. Event 8: Right after a successful Hangout 2, right outside of Grillby’s or near the Ruins entrance, Frisk will have another panic attack. Only this time, before the MC can react in any way, Frisk will let them know that they can handle it themselves. It’s not as bad as the first three, and the MC will recognize that Frisk is handling things a lot more calmly on their own. Frisk will appreciate that the MC trusted them this time around.
  54. Sidequest 2: A random Frisk involved sidequest. Sidequests don’t pertain to the main story, but can provide bonus points towards FP or attributes
  55. Event 9: Somewhere in Waterfall, the MC overhears an echo flower talking about Chara. As they wander further down past a trail of flowers, they hear a passing conversation of Frisk talking to themselves, however the voice responding back sounds strangely familiar. You realize it’s Frisk talking to Chara about Chara no longer having a need to take control of Frisk. Frisk explaining that, while they wish they could have been of more help to Chara somehow, there’s nothing that can be done. They ask Chara to let them live their life, and Chara is all “Fffoooiinnneee….” and lays dormant as the MC finally approaches. Frisk explains that they were talking with Chara, and they think Chara is a lot calmer now that they had a heart to heart talk.
  56. Event 10: This would be another friendship event where Frisk talks about how they appreciate having met the MC. They’re glad that they aren’t the only human living underground anymore, and feel a sense of comradery with the MC around. While they have made plenty of friends, it hasn’t felt the same without the company of another human being. Frisk also mentions that although they never thought about going back to the surface again without their monster friends, they began wondering what life is like on the surface ever since the MC appeared.
  57. Hangout 3: The MC can ask Frisk for another hangout, in which Frisk leads the MC to a random location in Waterfall. The MC and Frisk are relaxing in Waterfall and enjoying the atmosphere and view. The two of them talk more about possible ways of helping the monsters out of the Underground. The topic of leaving the Underground arises again, and Frisk and the MC discuss if it would actually be possible.
  58. Event 11: MC can find Frisk in their room, and the two talk more in depth about Chara and who they really were. Even after having so many fights over controlling Frisk’s body, they paint Chara in a rather kind light. They talk about Chara’s past and how they came to be, and why the two of them are sharing a body in the first place, at least Frisk’s ‘theories’ on why they are. MC asks how Chara is feeling now, and Frisk is surprised that the MC asked, before pausing, and determining that Chara is pretty chill/calm/content… and they’re certain Chara won’t be picking on Frisk for a long time.
  59. Final event: Frisk is rushing to tell the MC that Chara is completely gone. They can no longer feel Chara’s presence, and it happened so fast that they weren’t sure how to react. MC is confused a bit at first, before Frisk explains more excitedly that they’re ‘cured’. “Don’t get me wrong that Chara was a terrible person, they were hard to handle and deal with, but they weren’t horrible company. I just… never felt this free in a shit long time.”
  60. Friendship Route Ending: Timeskip like x amount of time later. There’s a little narration about how the MC attempted to find a way to reach the surface or to break the barrier. After going around in circles with no idea on how to do either of those things, they’d settle in with living alongside Toriel and Frisk. There could be more narration about how Frisk and the MC hang out a lot and often tag along with each other whenever one another goes out to do things. Even Toriel has noticed how much happier Frisk has gotten since the MC arrived Underground, as well as since Frisk stopped having panic attacks. (Followed by a mini event/scene where Frisk and MC are gardening and then Toriel takes a picture of them. Then it leads to the illustration of the photograph of the two of them with the lockets covering the photo and blah)
  61.
  62. Pros:
  63. Provides a balance between the two characters in this route
  64. Addresses the issues between Frisk/Chara without placing any emphasis on either
  65. Refrains from going into any fanon backstories
  66.
  67. Cons:
  68. I have nothing I dislike about this??? Someone else read over it and tell me what ya hate.
