Anyway. As I was saying. I've been feeling kinda stagnated on Neon lately. I feel like everything that I want to be taken as a joke gets taken seriously and everything that I want taken seriously gets taken as a joke. Ontop of that, suggesting that Yang add consequences to Neon to keep her in line was a mistake. It's already hard enough to give them an excuse to play with each other. Now, I feel like instead there's just growing feelings of resentment--at least IC. I ended up feeling the same way after we had Lime, cus I had no idea where to go with her in terms of character development. Like. "She's a responsible parent who is no longer on drugs. Development complete. There is nowhere to go from here but down. Wtf do I do now?" I just feel like I'm doing something wrong somewhere.(edited)

Yeah, that's the trouble with being a rabble-rouser, I've found. It's really hard to do anything since things that are intended to be taken lightly get piled on and blown waaaaaay out of proportion to the point of being unfun. It's just.. yeah. For some reason, it feels like it's changed. When she cast started, hellraising was all sorts of possible and it was lots of fun, but now? No way no how. Someone's going to get majorly butthurt somewhere and ruin the whole thing and I really don't know how to fix it. Feels like the only thing left to do anymore is participate in whatever drama happens to be going down at the moment.
Example, Neon and Mica. You two are having fun OOCly, but then May's gonna get upset and so is Blake and then that's the end of that.

Yea. Tbh, the whole thing with May started off as a joke. And she made it into this whole big thing, and I'm kinda bored with that entire plotline now. v.v

If I'm being honest, I'm kinda bored with everything now. Groups have formed and it seems like if it's not drama filled, there's not really anything going on and since I'm not one for drama, I'm just kinda dead in the water here.
I'm more a fan of casual fun, slice of life, and some silliness. Not what we've got now.

As for development, I can't say. I do enjoy where Neo is now. She's a responsible parent, but she's still a troublemaker and as much time as she spends with her kids,s he does leave them with Mirya a fair bit to run off and make some trouble. And yeah, me too, but as you said. It's all drama.

And of course, my suggestion of 'split the channels' got shot down with no counter-proposal, and the issue just got dropped entirely.

Unfortunately, splitting the channels doesn't change the focus. Sure the drama bombs won't be filling up the channel anymore, but drama will still be the main focus.
So it helps keep things from getting drowned out, but doesn't add more to do.

I don't know. It might. We could always post shit on the non-drama one that is essentially "Hey, this thing is going on." and it's used as a casual scene-invite. If we can do it for a drama-scene, I see no reason we can't do it for a casual scene.
The only reason we don't do that sort of thing now, is because it'd just get drowned out by drama and get no attention.
