Hi,
I was suggested to contact you regarding my domain auth code for my domain example.in which is right now held with net4.in who is refusing to provide me with a valid auth code.
Could you please provide me the authorization code for the domain example.in .
The timeline of my conversations with net4 support/sales are been provided below:
I made a request with net4.in on 26th of March and said they would get back to me in 2 days and I heard a reply from them on 31st March ( after 4 days ) with a registrar code which was invalid. I called them up on these days asking about the domain over phone .
I tried it contacting the customer care on the phone and they have just been transferring the calls saying that they are not the right department.
After spending 30 minutes from my phone on 1st April at around noon with 8 different callers on their call. I was told that I would getting the code definitely within 24 hours.
And, above all, the first authorization code I received for transferring (which as invalid) was on an email from net4 which was one of the most insecure ways and which is not a standard for exchanging confidential information. Other registrars provide it to the user on a https so that its secure . They have no proper authentication mechanism over the phone for customers (they just ask some CRN ID and the problem).
I do not know if it is just me or everyone who is trying to change from net4 is facing this problem or it is just me . Could you please take the appropriate action against the registrar if this is not the first case you are seeing from the customers of net4.
