<DJ_Omni> well one day there was a mass flood of Player1537 added a post in topicname as well as kermmartian inside #omnimaga x.x

<DJ_Omni> as for the illegal advertising kerm has been doing (/invite and PM advertising, the latter I discovered a few days ago), I think a staff warned kerm

<DJ_Omni> and when I asked some new ppl later they said they did not get invites

<tanner_> I've only noticed that he does it to people who are already a part of cemetech

<DJ_Omni> because to me it seems like many people including yourself are on the Kerm side but aren't telling it (typical, and I am used to it since 2006). And yeah iirc he told me he would only do it with cemetech members, not new Omnis, like ghe did a few times before

<DJ_Omni> although in some ways it was still some form of activity stealing and considering those users were not ircing on cemetech before if Omni had the same rules as Invisionfree, kerm would be banned from Omnimaga now

<DJ_Omni> I do not think Omni will ever have more than 500 posts higher than Cemetech because everytime we get too far it's a massive flood of saxjax in #omninmaga the day after

<DJ_Omni> if things won't change til the contest deadline I've been considering shutting down Omni altogether and just redirecting everyone to Cemetech

<DJ_Omni> since it is clear people are more attracted there now

<DJ_Omni> and a lot of Cemetechers are ex-omni members

<DJ_Omni> unttil last month, if we had a fight with a cemetech user and he whined about us in #cemetech, no one cared cuz there wasnt much people to watch

<DJ_Omni> now #cemetech is #tcpa size and the board has 2x higher activity than Omni

<DJ_Omni> it would be ok if a lot of the Omni people active there were still regularly active on Omni

<DJ_Omni> in fact if someone started a fight there it could backfire on them if they said shit about Omni

<DJ_Omni> but now I am sure a lot of ppl would turn against us
