  1. Hi,
  2.
  3. Indeed we are experiencing some trouble with network bandwidth on our Lannion node.
  4. The following is a temporary solution, and we are working on a permanent resolution about this issue, that we will implement soon.
  5.
  6. In order to get a "good" bandwidth, enter the following command as root user in your instance :
  7.
  8. "ethtool -K eth0 tso off"
  9.
  10. If needed, replace "eth0" by the actual name of your interface. Once done, you should download around 70/80 Mbps.
  11.
  12. Best Regards,
  13. Erwan for the Lannion Support Team

  45. > Hi,
  46. > I'm working at one of the European Pioneers - Zylia - with FiWareLab.
  47. > We were given access to our resources (particularly some VMs at Lanion
  48. > region). We're running low on time until next weeks demo. We are still
  49. > tweaking our cloud service, and it requires fast network connection as
  50. > we send and download large amounts of data on this VMs. The problem
  51. > is, even if I try to perform simple apt-get update on such a VM, it
  52. > takes ages to download few kB of data. Network speed is terrific and
  53. > it makes working with FiWareLab impossible. Can You do something about it quickly?
