  1. Leonard had spent several minutes just staring at the locked door that stood in his way. The others had probably taken their positions by now. But here he was. Wondering on how to get a door open. Leonard sighed and looked to all sides. Nothing. He peeked into the alleyway located by the building, and smirked at the sight he had hoped for. A fire escape lead up the side of the building, all the way to the roof, meaning all the way to his position. The cowboy walked up to the ladder. Well, under it, to be precise. Leonard took off his rifle and swung it up in the air, managing to slide it through the first gap in the ladder, grabbing the other end of the Winchester and pulling the ladder down with his weight. With that done, Leonard began to make his ascent up the ladder, taking his position on the opposing roof of the club they were about to attack. A minute later he saw a flash of red light over the building. The lunatic cowboy picked up his Winchester and scoped out the area he saw through the several small windows the building had. It was time.

  3. Hank was positioned on the neighboring building to the club. He was to jump across as soon as Morspallidum gave his signal, but he was still having second thoughts about the whole thing. Hank didn't trust Mors one bit. That asshole wanted to see the world crumble before his feet, and he would use the book to achieve his goals. But Hank needed the book, too. With the amount of shit that was going on in Aerilon, they were all under the constant threat of death. But at the same time, Hank and Gacko couldn't risk travel- too many organizations were hunting for them. Besides, he knew that Morspallidum would get the book, one way or another. And when Morspallidum gains immortality, it would be best for Hank to have it too. And while he was thinking several minutes passed. Hank saw a flash of red light over the building in front of him. Half a minute later it was followed by a white one. Hank took a running start and a little bit of his flames to launch over the gap below him. He landed on the other side and approached the skylight, awaiting the next signal.

  5. Mors and Gacko were behind the building, Morspallidum working on opening the back door while Gacko just loitered. he leaned back against the wall, a bored expression on his face. "Mors, how much longer?" Morspallidum didn't even raise his head, the four tentacles from his wrists continuing to move around the titanium lock. "Soon. Be patient." Gacko sighed and looked at his nails for a moment. "So. How come there ain't no guards here?" "Because the guards they have here..." He took his tentacles out and backed up from the door. "...Would attract too much attention." The lord of his realm opened up a portal and three small imps stepped through. The creatures latched onto the wall and ran up it with ease. A minute later a flash of red light appeared over the roof. Gacko nodded at Mors and stepped in front of the door. Half a minute later a white flash followed, and Gacko took a combat stance. Another half a minute and a flash of bright yellow light. The cosplaying lizard bashed the door with both fists, both his natural powers and the Ember Celica blasting flames at it. The doors flung open and the two men ran in, taking cover behind two sofas as they heard growling and footsteps draw near.

  7. As the yellow light flashed almost right above his head, Hank sprayed his white flames over one of the glass panels of the skylight. In a few moments it became nothing more than dust and white petals, flown away into the night by the wind. Hank dropped down, landing in the 'Under Construction' area. Just as planned. The professional drunk rolled behind several bags filled with building supplies he didn't care about. He heard a scratching sound, like claws moving across concrete, something like hushed whispers and then- nothing. Hank slowly poked his head over the bags and saw something long, thin and black round the corner. He took a deep breath before jumping over the bags and starting to run towards a ladder set near the middle of the room, leading all the way to the support beams over the rubble and unfinished walls. Hank started to hastily climb up, hearing the sounds he heard before starting to get closer. He was half-way up as the creature finally came in- it was two meters long from head to tail, walking on two feet, it's back hunched over. The creature's arms were long and unnaturally thin and flat, ending with blade-like appendages reaching almost to the floor. It's head appeared to be split horizontally into two halves, the halves connected in an unknown matter. The creature screeched at Hank and the drunk sped up his climb as the being started to rush towards the ladder. As Hank was about to grab the support beam, the creature pounced at the ladder. Hank lost his balance and the ladder began to fall. Hank grunted and turned himself to start falling on his back in mid-air, then launching flames under himself to fly back up. He leaned forward and grabbed onto the beam, pulling himself up as the creature below began swinging it's arms wildly. Hank heard more things drawing near and started to pull himself forward. As he finally made it to the wall three more beings like the one below rushed into the room, all of them starting to run at the wall Hank was next to. He uttered a swear and started to blast flames at the wall panel in front of him, slowly but surely disintegrating it.
