I urge you to support H.R. 4135: "Firearm Importation Fairness Act of 2014." The current standards only allow for the importation of firearms are suitable for "sporting purposes." The basis for this is only aesthetic and the function of each firearm is not changed, which means that this law accomplishes nothing. Dealing with a more fundamental matter, this law does not hold up to the letter of the Second Amendment, which says nothing about sports or hunting.

In the interest abiding by the Second Amendment and creating simpler, more efficient laws, please help this bill be passed. Thank you.
