Original goals of the fossil project:
1. Determine what modern conditions, if any, correlate to weird variant pokemon
	a. Is it just a product of regional differences, ie, large distance between specimens?
	b. Do local extremes have an effect (for example, are fossils of the same species from Greypine Reserve and the area just outside of there (accounting for how deposits might have drifted from their literal modern location of course) significantly different, or not)?
2. Discover correlations between variant fossil species and modern cryptids, if any
3. Find anything in fossil records that might be of any use to our modern concerns (lab directed or otherwise)
4. See if there are any REALLY WEIRD fossils (least important)
