  5. **Item #:** SCP-2026
  6.
  7. **Object Class:** Euclid
  8.
  9. **Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-2026 is located on the third floor of the medical sciences building on the campus of [REDACTED] University. University officials are in cooperation with the Foundation in keeping SCP-2026's existence clandestine. The door to SCP-2026 is to be locked at all times and cordoned off with "Caution" tape --(except during approved experimentation)--, in accordance with the official story that SCP-2026 is out of order. The hallway in which SCP-2026 is located is to be under recorded closed-circuit surveillance at all hours of the day, and any individuals found investigating or tampering with the door to SCP-2026 are to be covertly detained and subjected to a class-B amnesiac before being released outside the building.
  10.
  11. Following the results of Experiment 2026-X, no further experimentation with SCP-2026 is permitted.
  12.
  13. **Description:** SCP-2026 is a public single-person washroom. The door to SCP-2026 is of average height and width, constructed of particle board and wood veneer, and features a stainless steel lever-style handle and a standard "family" washroom sign. Its layout is consistent with regulations for wheelchair-accessible washrooms, and consists of a white porcelain toilet and sink, rails alongside the toilet, a rectangular mirror, a toilet paper holder, and an infant changing station. On the ceiling is an air vent and a standard fluorescent light. The room's appearance is very unmemorable, with blank, windowless beige walls and a matte floor.
  14.
  15. SCP-2026's anomalous properties manifest when one or more living beings enter the room and shut the door behind them. When these conditions are fulfilled, SCP-2026 in its entirity, along with its occupants, teleport to an unknown location. This teleportation is not detectable by anyone outside of SCP-2026, and is not immediately obvious to occupants of SCP-2026. Witnesses to SCP-2026's teleportation generally claim that they noticed nothing significant when they entered SCP-2026 and closed the door, and only became suspicious of their surroundings when they began hearing strange and unsettling sounds coming from beyond the walls of SCP-2026. Occupants also report that upon looking through the crack at the bottom of the door to SCP-2026, they were unable to see the hallway in which SCP-2026 is usually located, despite the fact that this hallway is well-lit at all hours of the day. See Experiment Logs 2026-I through 2026-X for full details of observed phenomena.
  16.
  17. SCP-2026 came to the attention of the Foundation after a significant number of students, faculty, and guests at [REDACTED] University notified both university security and local police of distressing noises being heard while occupying SCP-2026. After an incident involving police being dispatched to the medical sciences building, where they discovered a man, one Mr. ███████ ██████, huddled in a corner of SCP-2026 in a state of rambling psychosis and with his hands and fingers covered with blood, Foundation personnel embedded in the town of the university investigated and soon thereafter gained cooperation with university officials. The Foundation has also paid a sum of [DATA EXPUNGED] to a local psychologist to professionally examine Mr. ██████ and declare him insane. Mr. ██████ has since been admitted to a nearby psychiatric hospital and is being monitored by the Foundation as a security precaution.

  19. **Experiment Log 2026-I:**
  20.
  21. **Leading Researcher:** Dr. █████████
  22. **Date:** ██-██-████
  23. **Subject:** D-4471
  24. **Purpose:** To determine what occurs when a single human being occupies SCP-2026.
  25. **Procedure:** D-4471 directed to enter SCP-2026, close the door behind him, remain in SCP-2026 for ten minutes, and observe for anything he may deem out of the ordinary. After ten minutes, D-4471 to re-open the door and exit SCP-2026.
  26. **Details:** D-4471 opens the door and enters SCP-2026. D-4471 briefly examines the room before looking back at Dr. █████████ and asking if he should continue. Upon receiving verbal encouragement from Dr. █████████, D-4471 closes the door. Dr. █████████ and researchers present notice nothing unusual with regards to the exterior of SCP-2026 during this period. After an elapsed three minutes and twenty-four seconds, the door slowly opens and D-4471 looks out before hastily stepping through. D-4471 has a noticeable look of apprehension on his face, and quickly moves to the wall opposite SCP-2026. Interview conducted.

  28. **Interview:**
  29. DR. █████████: //Please describe for us what happened while you were in SCP-2026.//
  30. D-4471: //I'm not fucking going back in there. No fucking way.//
  31. DR. █████████: //Nobody said you have to go back in. Please describe what happened.//
  32. D-4471: //I closed the door. You saw that. I closed the door and the second I did I thought I could feel something was different about the room after that. It was like a different atmosphere or something. But I didn't think it was anything at first, or I thought I was just imagining it or something. So I go and I lean against the sink and I think I'll just wait out these ten minutes because I don't know why the hell you guys wanted me to sit in there. And I'm standing there staring at the wall and all of a sudden I hear this scratching sound at the wall next to me. Like some kind of cat was scratching the wall, but it was a lot bigger than a goddamn cat. It was coming from the other side of the wall, and it was just fucking running its claws or whatever up and down the wall.//
  33. DR. █████████: //Okay. What did you do then?//
  34. D-4471: //I freaked the fuck out, what do you think I did? I nearly shit myself. And then I was staring at that wall for a few seconds trying to figure out what was going on, what the fuck was trying to get into the room. And then I go for the door, because I'm thinking I want to get the fuck out of here. But then as my hand's on the handle I think, what if whatever is out there jumps me when I go out the door? So I stand there, I'm scared shitless, I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do. I finally decide I'd rather take my chances and get out of that room than just wait for the thing to get through. So I open the door and get ready to run for it, and I see you motherfuckers standing around like nothing happened. I don't know what the fuck's going on here but I'm not fucking going near that room again.//
  35. DR. █████████: //What do you personally think was on the other side of the wall?//
  36. D-4471: //How the fuck should I know? It was big. That's all I could tell. I don't want to know any more.//
  37. Interview ended.
