I made a decision where x was supposed to not be possible for 30 more minutes, but instead it was not so. The reason I've gotten for the attack was that the Japs were brainstorming on how to deal with them, and they assumed we would betray them... If I had 30 minutes to keep speaking with them, war may have been avoided.(edited)

Why not try an experiment, keep airport open, unfuck NZ, let's see if they attack again. If they do, you were right, changing king didn't matter, if they don't, then I was right and that extra time would have been useful. I won't be the last to bitch about this issue.
