  8. [17:02] * Happymancer is now known as Elsa
  9. [17:02] * Gents (Gents@86D6DAA3.B0A1CE07.6BF78421.IP) has joined #OverthereGame
  10. [17:03] * Gents is now known as Rudiger
  11. [17:03] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT Rudiger, did you fill in your spot on the schedule?
  12. [17:04] <Cait> (he didn't :B)
  13. [17:06] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  14. [17:06] <KamenWriter> TONIGHT! AROUND THE WORLD!
  15. [17:07] <KamenWriter> Our boys are sure in trouble this time. But our doughboys are sure to bring the fight!
  16. [17:08] <KamenWriter> Buy War Bonds!
  17. [17:08] <KamenWriter> When we last left our heroes, they had a strange run in with a mystical Onion fairy that delivered a declaration of war from nature itself.
  18. [17:09] <KamenWriter> That evening our heroes set off to begin fortifying the town. The Hospital, most likely, given that it's full of medical supplies and you all know it's clear.
  19. [17:10] <KamenWriter> Is this Time set up your final set up?
  20. [17:10] <KamenWriter> For Evening day 1?
  21. [17:10] * Cait grumbles about onions.
  22. [17:10] <Rudiger> (Yes fortification all the way)
  23. [17:11] <KamenWriter> Alright then
  24. [17:11] <Karsten> (Fortx3 and two scavenges looks right)
  25. [17:11] * Cait isn't quite sure what the men are doing, so she goes off to look around the Market Square.
  26. [17:12] <KamenWriter> Rudiger, Ivan, and Karsten set to work gathering wood and furniture to build a barricade around the Hospital, while Cait explores the homes and Elsa scavenges around the market.
  27. [17:12] <Cait> (reverse those last two :V)
  28. [17:12] <KamenWriter> RIGHT
  29. [17:12] <KamenWriter> Reverse those last two
  30. [17:13] <KamenWriter> Soon, the men manage to build a fairly strong barricade. You can go in and out and close the entrance behind you and there are enough beds inside for you to sleep comfortably.
  31. [17:13] * Karsten works hard to dig trenches with his trench shovel and help set up barricades! He wipes sweat off his brow as he looks around as they finish up.
  32. [17:13] <KamenWriter> Meanwhile, Cait explores the market square.
  33. [17:14] <KamenWriter> There is a butcher shop, a Bakery, a Cobbler, and a Tailor, as well as a small general store.
  34. [17:14] * Rudiger helps fortify asbestos he can!
  35. [17:15] * Cait thinks about it, the butcher and bakery are probably full of mold, they should be fine on clothes...She steps into the general store.
  36. [17:16] <KamenWriter> You would be right. The smell from the butcher alone is enough to drive you away.
  37. [17:16] <KamenWriter> The General store is a different matter. It's been raided before, and any food item that wasn't in any kind of hard package has been set upon by hungry pokemon
  38. [17:17] <KamenWriter> But you do find some canned food (+1 day of food for each character) as well as some general supplies like hammers and lanturns.
  39. [17:18] <KamenWriter> You even find a single book of matches (Matches x 12)
  40. [17:18] <KamenWriter> Also, the cash drawer isn't locked. Check it?
  41. [17:19] * Cait opens it; she doesn't need the money but sometimes they put other things in it.
  42. [17:19] <Cait> "Or at least they do in novels..." she mumbles.
  43. [17:20] <KamenWriter> You find a key to the front door of the General store (Not much use since the plate windows are broken)
  44. [17:20] * Cait shrugs, and pockets it anyway.
  45. [17:20] * Cait brings back the hammers and lanterns (assuming; not the pokemon :B) as well.
  46. [17:20] <KamenWriter> As well as 1000 lira, which you think should be around 5 bucks american. :B
  47. [17:21] * Cait doesn't bother with the money, she leaves it.
  48. [17:21] <KamenWriter> k
  49. [17:21] <KamenWriter> As for Else, she decides to search the homes.
  50. [17:22] <KamenWriter> You have enough time to check around a couple houses, and you find that most of the people took their belongings along when they left.
  51. [17:23] <KamenWriter> However, you do manage to find a large radio! However, without electricity you won't be able to use it.
  52. [17:23] * Elsa doubts there would be anything on anyway
  53. [17:24] <KamenWriter> As well, you can find some sewing and knitting supplies that were left behind, as well as some thread and yarn.
  54. [17:24] <KamenWriter> And a Pikachu doll
  55. [17:25] * Elsa takes along all of it
  56. [17:25] <KamenWriter> It's missing an eye and it's very dirty, so you know it was well-loved
  57. [17:25] * Elsa smiles and puts in her pack
  58. [17:26] <KamenWriter> You continue to see no bodies, and not even any old blood. There have not been people here for a long time.
  59. [17:27] <KamenWriter> Soon, however, evening begins to set in. You can already hear the forest coming alive at night.
  60. [17:28] <KamenWriter> The men have finished their fortification and you get yourselves inside and ready for the evening.
  61. [17:28] <Cait> The men hear a loud SLAM against the barricade they constructed! ...its just Cait, she hefts a large hammer on her shoulder, nodding, "For some germans and a russian, you did a good job."
  62. [17:29] * Rudiger looks up at the Woman, and sighs
  63. [17:30] * Elsa laughs, returning as well with the radio and sewing supplies
  64. [17:30] * Cait raises an eyebrow, and dumps the lanterns and hammers down wherever they're keeping supplies.
  65. [17:30] <KamenWriter> You settle in for the night, and close the barricade behind you. Elsa manages to drag the radio inside as well.
  66. [17:31] <Elsa> "Zere might be a way to get zis radio vorking and allow us to talk back and forth, maybe."
  67. [17:31] <KamenWriter> http://fineartamerica.com/featured/zenith-consol-radio-1940s-paul-ward.html Think this
  68. [17:31] <Cait> >1940s
  69. [17:31] <KamenWriter> >Time travel
  70. [17:32] * Cait fiddles with the knobs and the buttons on the large thing. "Its pretty big."
  71. [17:33] <Elsa> "Ve vould need an electric type, or a generator. Maybe some more tools and somezing like a receiver."
  72. [17:33] <Rudiger> "hmm... Does have electric?"
  73. [17:34] <KamenWriter> As you talk, you suddenly hear crashing outside. It seems the pokemon have begun their assault.
  74. [17:34] <KamenWriter> It sounds big, but they can't seem to get past your barricade.
  75. [17:34] <Elsa> "Zey did not waste any time."
  76. [17:35] <Cait> "...was kinda hopin Celebi was wrong." She frowns.
  77. [17:35] <Rudiger> ".... Ve mobilize"
  78. [17:35] * Rudiger stands up
  79. [17:36] <Elsa> {Rudiger, if there are only a few, do you think we should split the watch up, only keeping those with ranged attacks to keep them off the barricade?}
  80. [17:37] * Elsa clears her throat and turns to Cait, "Vould you vant to split ze shift up if zey do not show signs of breaking srough ze barricade?"
  81. [17:38] * Rudiger nods. {I go this way, you go the other way.}
  82. [17:39] * Cait looks at Elsa, "Sorry, but I still don't trust you all yet...If I'm sleeping, I want Ivan awake, and vice-versa."
  83. [17:39] * Karsten shakes his head. Somehow he thinks rest is more important than fending off the endless hordes at night, but he doesn't speak up.
  84. [17:40] <KamenWriter> So, what's your plan for the night? Take turns sleeping?
  85. [17:40] * Rudiger (Gents@86D6DAA3.B0A1CE07.6BF78421.IP) Quit ( Connection reset by peer )
  86. [17:40] <Elsa> "Zat is fair enough, I just want to point out zat killing you vould not help us since ve are stuck here togezer."
  87. [17:40] <Karsten> "Very vell." he says to Cait. "Let us take turns like sat sen."
  88. [17:40] <Cait> "I'll take first." She says, turning away.
  89. [17:41] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT so you take turns standing guard
  90. [17:41] * Karsten just nods and rolls over, going to sleep.
  91. [17:42] <KamenWriter> Everyone roll a Perception check. If you actively push back against the pokemon during your watch, roll a combat check.
  92. [17:43] <Elsa> 2d6+4 perception
  93. [17:43] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, perception: 10 [2d6=3,3]
  94. [17:44] <Cait> 2d6+2 perception
  95. [17:44] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, perception: 9 [2d6=1,6]
  96. [17:44] <Cait> 3d6+2 combat
  97. [17:44] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, combat: 12 [3d6=2,3,5]
  98. [17:44] * Rudiger (Gents@86D6DAA3.B0A1CE07.6BF78421.IP) has joined #OverthereGame
  99. [17:44] <Karsten> 2d6+2
  100. [17:44] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, 2d6+2: 9 [2d6=1,6]
  101. [17:44] <KamenWriter> Rudiger:
  102. [17:44] <KamenWriter> Everyone roll a Perception check. If you actively push back against the pokemon during your watch, roll a combat check.
  103. [17:45] <Karsten> 3d6+3 Karsten will try fending them off too.
  104. [17:45] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, Karsten will try fending them off too.: 15 [3d6=1,6,5]
  105. [17:46] <KamenWriter> 3d6+2 Ivan's check
  106. [17:46] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Ivan's check: 9 [3d6=4,1,2]
  107. [17:46] <KamenWriter> Rudiger? waiting on you
  108. [17:46] <Rudiger> gah sorry
  109. [17:47] <Rudiger> Getting sheets back open because comp shuttt off
  110. [17:47] <KamenWriter> No prob
  111. [17:49] <KamenWriter> If you need, I can roll for you. I have your sheet open
  112. [17:49] <Rudiger> (Just go ahead)
  113. [17:49] <KamenWriter> k
  114. [17:49] <KamenWriter> 3d6+1 Perception
  115. [17:49] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Perception: 8 [3d6=1,2,4]
  116. [17:49] <KamenWriter> And I assume you want to roll the combat check too?
  117. [17:50] <KamenWriter> 3d6+3 In case you do here it is.
  118. [17:50] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, In case you do here it is.: 15 [3d6=5,3,4]
  119. [17:51] <KamenWriter> Alright, so first, perception checks
  120. [17:52] <KamenWriter> Karsten and Cait notice that it's a lot of the same types attacking. A lot of water, Grass, and rock types. Proportionally more grass types than either of the others.
  121. [17:53] <KamenWriter> Elsa notices further that Fighting types tend to lead groups of other types, and that there are absolutely no ghosts, Fire, Psychic, or Electric types unless they are also dual-typed with another belligerent type.
  122. [17:53] <Rudiger> (Yeah combat too)
  123. [17:53] <KamenWriter> You all have a feeling that there's more to it than that, but you're too distracted to glean any more info
  124. [17:54] <KamenWriter> As for your combat rolls, The three of you are able to protect your fortification.
  125. [17:55] <KamenWriter> It still takes some damage, but considering the waves after waves of pokemon that attacked, it could have been a lot worse.
  126. [17:56] <Cait> 2d6+2
  127. [17:56] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 2d6+2: 8 [2d6=4,2]
  128. [17:56] <Cait> 3d6+2
  129. [17:56] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 3d6+2: 10 [3d6=2,2,4]
  130. [17:57] <KamenWriter> Alright, you don't notice anything more, but you do manage to defend the fortification more.
  131. [17:57] * Cait is clearly exhausted in the late evening/early morning though.
  132. [17:58] <KamenWriter> Your Perception and mind attributes take a -1 penalty until you sleep again, however since you didn't sleep a lot.
  133. [17:59] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  134. [18:00] <KamenWriter> In the morning, you inspect the damage. Owing to the hard work of Cait, Karsten, and Rudiger, the fortification only took minimal damage.
  135. [18:02] * Elsa tries to get as much sleep in as possible, nearly having to be forced to get up
  136. [18:02] * Rudiger yawns a little
  137. [18:02] * Cait cracks her knuckles; she has bags under her eyes, but she popped a few who tried to scale the barricade.
  138. [18:03] <KamenWriter> Indeed, there are some bloodstains
  139. [18:03] <KamenWriter> But the pokemon appear to have carried away their dead and wounded
  140. [18:04] <KamenWriter> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmO3CwaBeW_odGFsdXRURTFubTBWQlhMS0FYVHZaWnc#gid=0
  141. [18:04] <Rudiger> "Ve have crushed zim"
  142. [18:04] <KamenWriter> What are you going to do this morning?
  143. [18:04] * Karsten is not in the best of spirits, despite getting sleep and successfully fending them off. He sighs as he leans on the barricade.
  144. [18:04] <KamenWriter> I'll let Ivan decide when next I see him
  145. [18:06] * Elsa smiles sleepily, "Do you sink zat ve need to scout around, maybe for running vater?"
  146. [18:06] <KamenWriter> As a reminder, the homes have been explored, as has the General store.
  147. [18:06] <Karsten> "Vat is se plan for today?" he asks, wearily. "Ve hafe plenty of food, medicine - for now - and the barricade is not into bad shape, perhaps - scouting, yes."
  148. [18:07] * Rudiger NODS. "Scouting yes"
  149. [18:07] * Cait chews on some dried food she brought from home.
  150. [18:07] <Karsten> "Assessing se remaining resources of se village might also be vise."
  151. [18:08] <Karsten> "...Also se fairy advised us to look at se manor."
  152. [18:08] <Cait> "He did, didn't he."
  153. [18:09] <Rudiger> "I vill zee manor"
  154. [18:09] <Elsa> "It might be best if ve all see to ze manor, at least until zere is reason to let individuals explore safely."
  155. [18:09] * Cait was about to volunteer as well, but she stops when Rudiger says that. they spend all last night in awkward silence.
  156. [18:10] <Karsten> "{With respect, Captain, the mansion might hold an enemy fortification. It may be best to explore it together after we get the lay of the land.}"
  157. [18:12] <Rudiger> "{You say so, though I will mark that as out of liine talk.}" He looks around. "Vell.... Scouts?"
  158. [18:12] * Cait takes the time to get out her pokemon for breakfast. She watches Aqua Carefully, "Do you eat minerals, or do you prefer something organic?" She can't remember anything about Corsolas that her mom taught her, so she lets it choose.
  159. [18:13] * Cait holds out the pokemon rations, to see if it goes for it.
  160. [18:13] <KamenWriter> >:I It eats a little bit of food, but won't eat from your hand. If you put it in a bowl, the Corsola will take the food out of the bowl, carry it as far away as she's able and eat it there.
  161. [18:14] * Elsa smirks then nods to Rudiger, {It might be best to not hold ourselves too strongly to the army's principles, since we do not have their support or guidance.}
  162. [18:14] <KamenWriter> the Riolu does that as well. Carvanha eats out of the bowl happily, but snaps at anyone that gets too close.
  163. [18:15] * Karsten winces a bit, but also goes to give breakfast to his pokemon. He does offer the Riolu food in a bowl.
  164. [18:16] <Cait> "Hey! I'm talking to you! ..." she sighs, "Snow, please go with him." She says to her cubchoo; the little girl goes off to watch the corsola.
  165. [18:16] * Rudiger shouts Elsa a displeasing look
  166. [18:17] <Elsa> "I vill seek out any water ve can use, does anyvone vish to come vith?"
  167. [18:17] <Karsten> "I vill do some minor scouting, and then return to help assess se manor." He watches the Riolu with a disheartened expression. "Sis will take some time."
  168. [18:17] <KamenWriter> So, if you scout around the area, pick a cardinal direction and how much time you're spending
  169. [18:17] * Rudiger steps up. "I vil also get ze water."
  170. [18:19] <Cait> "...I'm going to check out that hunting lodge."
  171. [18:19] <Elsa> "Vest or North, Captain?"
  172. [18:20] <Rudiger> "Ve go Vest!" He starts heading that way
  173. [18:21] * Elsa waves to the others
  174. [18:21] * Cait watches as the germans leave the small city. She goes to the hunting lodge, partially to scavenge, mostly just to check it out.
  175. [18:22] <KamenWriter> For how many time periods are you heading West?
  176. [18:22] * Cait makes sure her pokemon are with; she keeps Sky and Snow out, Aqua isn't quite ready.
  177. [18:22] <KamenWriter> Alright, We'll do Cait first, since that's simple
  178. [18:23] * Karsten heads south, then, for one period.
  179. [18:24] <KamenWriter> You enter the hunting lodge, and predictably enough you see a lot of taxidermy. Racks of Sawsbuck and Stantler horns are on display all over the walls. There appears to be several racks for each season! The taxidermists are good enough to even preserve the flowers and leaves on the more lush horns.
  180. [18:24] <KamenWriter> There is also a bar here. It seems this doubled as the town pub, although there is unfortunately little left.
  181. [18:25] * mogents (Gents@86D6DAA3.B0A1CE07.6BF78421.IP) has joined #OverthereGame
  182. [18:25] <KamenWriter> One bottle of wine is all you can salvage
  183. [18:25] <KamenWriter> However, the actual LODGE side is very very interesting
  184. [18:26] <KamenWriter> You find that in the back, the owner has a stockpile of Ursaring traps! These might come in handy.
  185. [18:26] * Cait curls her nose in disgust at the taxidermy. huntins good for food, but she always felt really bad with these kinda things; Pokemon aren't trophies.
  186. [18:27] * Cait does take the ursaring traps; she can't deny that she may need them.
  187. [18:27] <KamenWriter> New option has been unlocked.
  188. [18:27] <KamenWriter> http://paradoxhaze.wikidot.com/italian-village
  189. [18:27] * Rudiger (Gents@86D6DAA3.B0A1CE07.6BF78421.IP) Quit ( Ping timeout )
  190. [18:28] <KamenWriter> You have enough traps for 10 days.
  191. [18:28] * mogents is now known as Rudiger
  192. [18:28] <Rudiger> are they
  193. [18:28] <Rudiger> hot?
  194. [18:29] * Karsten shakes gents
  195. [18:29] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  196. [18:29] <KamenWriter> Karsten
  197. [18:29] <Karsten> (And enough of being OOC in the IC channel :D)
  198. [18:29] <KamenWriter> http://flockdraw.com/axg7yq
  199. [18:29] * Karsten is scouting that strange path south... let's see what we have here.
  200. [18:29] <KamenWriter> Everyone in here. We can see what Karsten sees
  201. [18:30] <KamenWriter> You follow the strange path
  202. [18:30] <KamenWriter> As you follow the strange path, it winds down and more to the southeast
  203. [18:31] <KamenWriter> The forest is thick around you, but seeing as how you're exploring a beaten path, you don't feel TOO much in danger.
  204. [18:32] <KamenWriter> Eventually you come to a small fishing shack, and beyond it you find a river
  205. [18:32] <KamenWriter> I hope these colors aren't killing your eyes too much
  206. [18:33] <KamenWriter> Inside the fishing shack are a few fishing rods.
  207. [18:33] <KamenWriter> You might be able to catch fish in the river with these
  208. [18:33] * Karsten judges the direction of the river. "{Maybe Captain and Elsa will find the northward bend of it... but I had to figure if there was a river nearby there'd be a path to it...}"
  209. [18:34] * Karsten is talking to Saft, by the way, his Shuckle following along.
  210. [18:34] <KamenWriter> The river runs north-south. However, as you get closer to it, you find that it is absolutely RAGING
  211. [18:34] * Karsten notes the fishing rods, and then checks out that water. WHAO.
  212. [18:34] <Karsten> *Whoa
  213. [18:35] <KamenWriter> If you know anything about rivers, this one shouldn't be this violent.
  214. [18:35] <KamenWriter> The water is white a roiling, and you can sometimes see angry-looking water types jumping around
  215. [18:35] <Karsten> "{Is this the wrath of nature given form? Or the work of a strong pokemon, perhaps.}"
  216. [18:36] * Karsten is a bit unnerved. "{Be careful not to fall in, Saft, I do not know if I could get you out.}"
  217. [18:36] <KamenWriter> Eventually you find what used to be a bridge (The purple thing)
  218. [18:36] <KamenWriter> However, the high, violent river has knocked it down. The river is impassible.
  219. [18:37] <Karsten> "{Christus... this is surely intentional on something's part...}
  220. [18:37] <KamenWriter> <Seems like a safe bet.>
  221. [18:37] <KamenWriter> You hear above you
  222. [18:37] <KamenWriter> :3
  223. [18:37] * Karsten looks up at the voice. Celebi?
  224. [18:38] <KamenWriter> <I suuuure wonder what's on the other side.>
  225. [18:38] * Karsten tips his hat to the fairy. "Guten morgen." he says, figuring the fairy probably doesn't have the problem of language barriers.
  226. [18:38] <KamenWriter> <I hope last night wasn't too terrible.>
  227. [18:39] <Karsten> "{It was... not the war I was expecting.}" he says a bit sadly.
  228. [18:40] <KamenWriter> <:( <Well, I can't say that the one you were heading for is any better than this one.>
  229. [18:41] <KamenWriter> <Personally I'm not a big fan of either one... or war in general.> :I <Sure it's a big interesting history even that changes everything after it, but... the afterparts are usually always more interesting to visit.>
  230. [18:42] <Karsten> "{I... suppose you have a point there. But either way, I was hoping to save lives rather than take them. ...still, I guess we have our duty to humankind...}" He doesn't seem all too happy at the prospect. "{And the afterpart of this one?}"
  231. [18:42] <KamenWriter> <Well... That's the thing.>
  232. [18:42] <KamenWriter> <I actually... don't know what happens after this. History is so in flux right now. The big men upstairs have totally changed the course of so many things with this.>
  233. [18:43] <KamenWriter> <If you win, history might go back to the way it was, but if you lose... I can't really see what happens next.>
  234. [18:43] <KamenWriter> <Because... it's never happened that way, y'know?>
  235. [18:43] * Karsten leans against a bit of the bridge's railing that didn't get torn down. "{I see... }"
  236. [18:45] <KamenWriter> <And even if I knew, well... You belong in 1917. It's not really a good idea for me to tell you anything that happens after that.>
  237. [18:46] <KamenWriter> <But listen to me ramble. Interesting bridge, huh?> <:3
  238. [18:46] <Karsten> "{I guess for now all we can do is... what we can to survive.}" He looks at the path the ex-bridge used to lead to, on the other side. "{There must be -something- important that way... which means we will have to find the source of the river's anger and quell it... then repair the bridge. We have our work cut out for us.}"
  239. [18:47] <Karsten> "{Or else build a higher bridge.}"
  240. [18:47] <KamenWriter> <True enough, but keep in mind that a powerful enough pokemon doesn't have to actually be IN the river to make it go wild.>
  241. [18:47] <KamenWriter> <Just being nearby is enough.>
  242. [18:47] <KamenWriter> <Same with the woods. Have you noticed the treeline back in town?> <:3
  243. [18:49] * Karsten looks back, pondering.
  244. [18:50] <KamenWriter> YOu're too far away from town to see anything but the thick canopy of trees
  245. [18:50] <Karsten> "{The overgrowth... Come to think of it, I bet this was a much more open area before.}"
  246. [18:51] <Karsten> "{The forest... it's practically choking the town, like nature's own barricade...}"
  247. [18:51] <KamenWriter> <Good way to put it.>
  248. [18:52] <KamenWriter> <ANYWAY! That's enough from me. Nice to see you again.> :3
  249. [18:52] <KamenWriter> <Byyeee. I'll be watching!>
  250. [18:52] <Karsten> "{You too... thank you for the insight.}" he nods.
  251. [18:52] <KamenWriter> He winks out of existence with a giggle.
  252. [18:53] <KamenWriter> The end of the first time period is drawing to a close, Go back to town or keep exploring?
  253. [18:53] <Karsten> He decides... not to go fishing at the moment, and it's kind of useless to take the rods all the way back to town, so he just notes the area for now and starts to head back.
  254. [18:53] <KamenWriter> Ok.
  255. [18:53] <KamenWriter> NEXT, Rud and Elsa
  256. [18:53] <KamenWriter> You head East now?
  257. [18:54] * Rudiger head east
  258. [18:54] * Elsa heads east
  259. [18:54] <KamenWriter> (While Rudiger and Elsa go, Cait and Karsten should think about what they are doing for the afternoon slot)
  260. [18:54] <KamenWriter> Alright BACK TO FLOCKDRAWO
  261. [18:55] <KamenWriter> First of all, perception check from both of you
  262. [18:55] <Rudiger> 3d6+1 Eyes plz
  263. [18:55] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, Eyes plz: 11 [3d6=3,6,1]
  264. [18:55] <KamenWriter> And Elsa?
  265. [18:57] <Elsa> 2d6+4
  266. [18:57] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, 2d6+4: 14 [2d6=6,4]
  267. [18:58] <KamenWriter> You can't be sure, but as you pass by the eastern treeline, it seems slightly wilder than you thought it was the day before.
  268. [18:58] <KamenWriter> However, as you pass the treeline, you quickly come to see a strange sight, in and among the wild trees appear to be demolished houses.
  269. [18:59] <Rudiger> "{Seems to be housing?}"
  270. [18:59] <Elsa> {Probably destroyed by the Pokemon.}
  271. [18:59] <KamenWriter> The trees appear to have grown up through the floorboards and cielings of the houses.
  272. [19:00] <Rudiger> "{Ho....How long have they been there though?}"
  273. [19:01] <KamenWriter> You pass the houses by, and soon the wreckage gets fainter and fainter, until either the town's eastern border ends, or the houses were just swallowed up by the forest.
  274. [19:02] <Elsa> {At least a decade due to when we are now.}
  275. [19:02] <Rudiger> "{...Right.... Time.}"
  276. [19:02] <KamenWriter> These aren't young trees either. These seem to be old-growthy
  277. [19:03] <KamenWriter> But the buildings don't look as old as the trees
  278. [19:03] <KamenWriter> At this point please pick another direction. Southeast, due east, or Northeast?
  279. [19:03] <Rudiger> "{.... Do you miss the old time?}"
  280. [19:03] <KamenWriter> You know that due south is the tunnel with the train wreckage, and there might be mountains to due north.
  281. [19:05] <Elsa> {Do I miss the- it hasn't been much time since we really left.}
  282. [19:05] <Rudiger> "{Feels like... much longer?}"
  283. [19:05] <Elsa> {This time isn't really the most convenient or pleasurable in any fashion, I do miss most things of before.}
  284. [19:06] <KamenWriter> So, keep going due east or pick another direction?
  285. [19:06] <Elsa> {It is very unrestrictive though.}
  286. [19:06] * Elsa looks north, {I don't believe any water ran along the tracks, would a mountainous source yield better results?}
  287. [19:07] * Rudiger heads north. "{Perhaps.}"
  288. [19:07] <KamenWriter> Due north or northeast?
  289. [19:08] <Elsa> Due north
  290. [19:09] <KamenWriter> K
  291. [19:09] <KamenWriter> You head due north, towards the mountains.
  292. [19:10] <KamenWriter> I need stealth checks from you guys
  293. [19:10] <KamenWriter> You can feel that you're getting deeper into enemy territory. You might need to conceal yourself
  294. [19:10] <Rudiger> 2d6+3 death becomes us
  295. [19:10] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, death becomes us: 8 [2d6=3,2]
  296. [19:11] <Elsa> 1d6-2 I am not a ninja
  297. [19:11] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, I am not a ninja: 1 [1d6=3]
  298. [19:11] <KamenWriter> Oh wow
  299. [19:11] <KamenWriter> Alright
  300. [19:12] <KamenWriter> You walk north and soon enough you find the mountains. The tree line seems to thin out as you get close.
  301. [19:12] <KamenWriter> The foot of the mountain, you see slopes gently upwards, but soon seems to rise up into an imposing wall of rock
  302. [19:13] <KamenWriter> You don't think you'll be able to get up the rock face without a pokemon to get you up there.
  303. [19:14] <KamenWriter> However, you don't have much time to admire the view when above you, just over the foothills, what you thought was a rock wall bursts open!
  304. [19:15] <KamenWriter> It's actually the entrance to a cave!
  305. [19:15] * Rudiger looks surprised
  306. [19:15] <Elsa> {Oh, press on?}
  307. [19:15] <KamenWriter> 1d100 lets see how close those rocks are. High number = bad for you guys
  308. [19:15] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, lets see how close those rocks are. High number = bad for you guys: 91 [1d100=91]
  309. [19:16] <KamenWriter> Alright, I'm gonna need an athletics or acrobatics check here to dodge rocks
  310. [19:17] <Elsa> 1d6-2 both are the same
  311. [19:17] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, both are the same: 4 [1d6=6]
  312. [19:17] <KamenWriter> The boulders that were covering the cave entrance come rolling down the foothill at you. It's pretty clear this is a trap, and you were spotted.
  313. [19:17] <Rudiger> 5d6+3
  314. [19:17] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, 5d6+3: 17 [5d6=4,1,4,2,3]
  315. [19:17] <KamenWriter> Rudiger is able to get out of the way in time, but Elsa is hit.
  316. [19:18] <KamenWriter> 3d6+8+5 You take this much damage. Feel free to apply defense to it
  317. [19:18] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, You take this much damage. Feel free to apply defense to it: 25 [3d6=6,5,1]
  318. [19:19] * Elsa stifles a scream
  319. [19:20] <KamenWriter> Once the rocks clear, you look up at the entrance to the cave. There are three pokemon standing there.
  320. [19:20] * Rudiger rushes over to Elsa, and looks up at the Pokemon
  321. [19:20] <KamenWriter> Two of them are Sudowoodos that you fought the other day. They shiver at seeing you again. D:
  322. [19:21] * Elsa shoos Rudiger away a little
  323. [19:21] <Rudiger> "{Are you okay?}"
  324. [19:21] <KamenWriter> However, they are both flanked by a large pokemon with rock-like horns. It has a grey body and a tauros-like form with four thick legs.
  325. [19:21] <KamenWriter> And it does not look happy.
  326. [19:22] <KamenWriter> <The Humans? Already!?>
  327. [19:22] <KamenWriter> Says Terrakion
  328. [19:23] <KamenWriter> So yeah. Elsa
  329. [19:23] <KamenWriter> You know damn well from your training that this is no ordinary pokemon.
  330. [19:24] <KamenWriter> He seems mad, and might charge you at any moment.
  331. [19:25] <KamenWriter> Would you two like an action before we compare dexes and speeds?
  332. [19:25] <Rudiger> "{Can you run?}"
  333. [19:25] * Elsa gives a curtsy, <Yes, although we appear to be at a loss to who we are speaking with.>
  334. [19:26] <KamenWriter> He doesn't seem like he's gonna answer anything you ask it.
  335. [19:26] <KamenWriter> Although
  336. [19:26] <Elsa> To Rudiger, <They would most likely catch me, if I cannot speak him down. Simply go.>
  337. [19:26] <KamenWriter> It might be worth a try?
  338. [19:27] <Rudiger> "{I refuse to leave you behind}"
  339. [19:28] <KamenWriter> If you're gonna run, or talk, better talk fast, because he seems like he's gonna start charging.
  340. [19:29] <Elsa> <We have stumbled into something we do not fully understand, sturdy one. If you would graciously allow us this breach of manners.>
  341. [19:29] <Elsa> To Rudiger, <I will run, but not with you. One of us being caught is better than both.>
  342. [19:30] <Rudiger> "{This is not how this works. I told you no man left behind, man or woman.}"
  343. [19:30] <KamenWriter> Roll me a charm, Elsa.
  344. [19:30] <Elsa> 3d6+4 adding 1 ap
  345. [19:30] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, adding 1 ap: 18 [3d6=3,5,6]
  346. [19:31] <KamenWriter> The Terrakion almost charges, but realizes that he's hearing your words inside his head. This causes him to listen to what they're saying.
  347. [19:31] <KamenWriter> <You're the enemy! Why shouldn't I attack you right now?>
  348. [19:34] <KamenWriter> <If you get away, you'll come back with the rest of your army and attack my stronghold.>
  349. [19:34] * Elsa broadcasts it to Rudiger as well so he isn't in the dark, <I can't give you any logical reason not to. You are most likely perfectly capable of running me down and killing me.>
  350. [19:34] <Elsa> <But! It would not show honor or restraint on your part, we are just a part of the group of humans that you face.>
  351. [19:35] <Elsa> <The sudowoodo beside you can attest that we are not simply rampaging through the world killing all Pokemon, I can only hope that you can grant us this leeway and spare us now.>
  352. [19:37] <KamenWriter> <The same honor you showed us? When your people reduce mountains to rubble in your quarries for scrap rocks? When you draw huge furrows into the earth and fill the cracks with the blood of your enemies?>
  353. [19:37] <KamenWriter> <You expect me to show mercy now when I have you right where I want you?>
  354. [19:40] * Elsa shakes her head, <I do not expect you to, I simply hope that you do. Were you to let us go, you would know where we are and be able to fight us all on your terms. A fight that truly shows your power and proves us the weaker.>
  355. [19:41] <KamenWriter> <I already send my soldiers to fight you every night.>
  356. [19:41] <KamenWriter> <Are you challenging me to come into your camp tonight?>
  357. [19:41] <KamenWriter> <And fight you directly?>
  358. [19:42] * Elsa considers for a moment
  359. [19:43] <Rudiger> ^
  360. [19:44] <Elsa> <There will eventually be a fight if your soldiers do not kill us, when it happens is up to you, I put myself at your discretion.>
  361. [19:44] <Elsa> <I will not presume to tell you how to act, I simply beg your leave for this time.>
  362. [19:44] <KamenWriter> Roll one more Charm, please.
  363. [19:45] <Elsa> 3d6+4 another ap
  364. [19:45] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, another ap: 17 [3d6=3,6,4]
  365. [19:46] <KamenWriter> <I told that brother of mine we should have stormed your miserable camp as soon as we got here! Fine, human! Terrakion will take up your challenge. You best be ready by the time I arrive! I want a proper fight!>
  366. [19:47] <Elsa> <We will attempt to give you a fight to remember.>
  367. [19:47] * Rudiger justs looks like he's trying to not get killed
  368. [19:47] <KamenWriter> He nods, then grunts. The two shivering Sudowoodo follow him back into the lair.
  369. [19:47] * Elsa curtsies again, <Can I have the honor of your name or title?>
  370. [19:48] <KamenWriter> <Terrakion. That's SIR Terrakion to you.>
  371. [19:48] <Rudiger> "{I'm so glad you can speak to this big lud}"
  372. [19:48] <KamenWriter> One of the Sudowoodos hangs back and looks at you. He seems like he almost wants to say something.
  373. [19:48] <KamenWriter> He shivers slightly.
  374. [19:48] * Elsa looks to him
  375. [19:49] * Rudiger gives him displeasinglook.gif
  376. [19:50] <KamenWriter> However, it's only for a moment, and the skittish Sudowoodo retreats back into the cave.
  377. [19:50] <KamenWriter> You are free to go
  378. [19:51] * Rudiger drags Elsa back with him post-haste
  379. [19:51] * Elsa walks on her own, {That went better than I had hoped.}
  380. [19:53] <KamenWriter> The end of your second time period comes to a close and the two of you head back to town.
  381. [19:53] <Rudiger> "{Well done! You arn't us- I mean they trained you well!}"
  382. [19:54] <KamenWriter> And hey, Elsa and Rudiger encountered one of the Generals and survived
  383. [19:54] <KamenWriter> +1 Trainer exp
  384. [19:54] * Elsa laughs, {I am not a good soldier, my training simply taught me how to avoid direct fights. You can call me useless if you want.}
  385. [19:54] <KamenWriter> As soon as you get back to town, you see Karsten on the outskirts picking berries and Cait doing ???
  386. [19:55] <Rudiger> "{Never.}" He smiles for once
  387. [19:55] <KamenWriter> Lets see
  388. [19:55] * Cait is at the hospital, trying, somehow, to talk to Aqua.
  389. [19:56] * Cait THOUGHT about putting the beartraps out, but decided against it since the germans might walk over them.
  390. [19:56] <KamenWriter> 1d8; 1d8; 1d10 Berries?
  391. [19:56] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d8: 1 [1d8=1]; 1d8: 3 [1d8=3]; Berries?: 7 [1d10=7]
  392. [19:56] <KamenWriter> 3d4
  393. [19:56] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 3d4: 6 [3d4=4,1,1]
  394. [19:56] <KamenWriter> KArsten: You find 4 Cheri berries, one Pecha berry, and one Persim
  395. [19:57] <KamenWriter> Alright, Cait uses her time period to bond with Aqua
  396. [19:58] <KamenWriter> Cait: Roll me a spirit or mind skill you think might work. Maybe charm it? Or intimidate it? Or maybe remember some education you might have had about Corsolas? Throw me something
  397. [19:59] * Karsten waves over to the Captain and Elsa. {Hello!}
  398. [20:00] * Cait tries to get to know him, what does he like? water, obviously; she tries to find out how he got here, but she doesn't get much.
  399. [20:00] * Karsten puts the berries away for now and heads on over. "{I'm not sure what luck you had, but the river is a short jog to the south, and it rages like the fires of hell itself. There's a bridge that was taken down by the water, as well as some fishing rods. The onion fairy hinted there -might- be something interesting beyond the broken bridge.}"
  400. [20:00] <Cait> 3d6+1
  401. [20:00] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 3d6+1: 12 [3d6=2,4,5]
  402. [20:00] <KamenWriter> And remember, you're at -1 to mind and spirit because of lack of sleep
  403. [20:01] <Cait> will focus work? trying to watch him and stuff.
  404. [20:01] <Cait> (or wait, no, that isn't focus i am dumb)
  405. [20:01] <Elsa> "One of ze generals vill be attacking tonight, or soon."
  406. [20:01] <KamenWriter> It might help for later bonding attempts
  407. [20:01] * Karsten stops short. "{What? Oh dear.}"
  408. [20:01] <KamenWriter> So was that a focus check?
  409. [20:01] <Rudiger> "{We encountered a General by mistake}"
  410. [20:02] <KamenWriter> Although, yeah that would be more perception
  411. [20:02] <Elsa> "I accidentally stumbled into his lair, he allowed us to leave, but now he vill attack us personally."
  412. [20:02] <Cait> (yes)
  413. [20:02] <Cait> 2d6+1 education pokemon, untrained
  414. [20:02] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, education pokemon, untrained: 11 [2d6=6,4]
  415. [20:02] <KamenWriter> Okay. You remember pretty well
  416. [20:04] <Karsten> "...Sat isn't good."
  417. [20:04] <KamenWriter> You remember that owned Corsolas like to have a pan of water to bask in. If they don't they might get dry and won't grow as well.
  418. [20:04] * Elsa speaks in english in case Ivan or Cait comes around
  419. [20:05] <KamenWriter> You fill a pan of water in the well and then dump a bunch of salt into it (to simulate the ocean) and set it out for him. He seems suspicious of it, but soon settles into it. He was feeling kinda dry.
  420. [20:05] <Cait> "How did you get here anyway..." She mumbles for the thirtieth time.
  421. [20:06] <KamenWriter> And then you hear that Elsa and Rudiger and Karsten are conferring about something. The Corsola stays silent -n-
  422. [20:06] * Karsten will go tell Cait and Ivan either way.
  423. [20:06] <KamenWriter> Ivan is probably around as well.
  424. [20:08] * Elsa goes along with Karsten
  425. [20:09] * Rudiger also goes along. 3's a company
  426. [20:09] <KamenWriter> So, Cait: You are told that one of ze generals vill be attacking tonight, or soon.
  427. [20:11] <Cait> "Was he strong?"
  428. [20:11] * Cait looks at them.
  429. [20:12] <Elsa> "He is one of ze generals, I imagine he vould have run me down. Ve did not initiate a fight."
  430. [20:12] <Rudiger> "Vas not vorth fight"
  431. [20:14] <Cait> "Well, I guess sooner is better than later."
  432. [20:14] * Rudiger nods. "Also, apologies for night. Ve didn't talk much" He bows.
  433. [20:15] <Elsa> "Maybe I should leave scouting to zose who are more physically capable."
  434. [20:15] * Cait yawns, And looks away from Rudiger.
  435. [20:16] * Elsa smiles, they probably didn't talk much either
  436. [20:16] * Rudiger takes note of this and turns. "Ze Mansion?"
  437. [20:16] <Karsten> "I'll vork at it in se future if need be. For now... I vas hoping ve could check the manor. At se very least, onion fairy suggested it for a reason. Perhaps ve vill find somesing of use sere."
  438. [20:16] <Cait> "Were we still going to do that? with the...did it have a name? the general pokemon?"
  439. [20:17] <Cait> "With it showing up."
  440. [20:17] <Elsa> "Terrakion."
  441. [20:17] <Elsa> "Sir Terrakion."
  442. [20:17] * Cait thinks, and shakes her head, "Never heard of it."
  443. [20:17] <Karsten> "Vith vat ve hafe at present, I'm not sure ve could set up much of a defense."
  444. [20:18] <Rudiger> "Agree"
  445. [20:19] <Karsten> "So... our time is probably best spent looking for sings."
  446. [20:19] * Domovoi (Domovoi@sux-B9D9571C.hsd1.il.comcast.net) has joined #OverthereGame
  447. [20:19] <Rudiger> "And sings ve shall!"
  448. [20:19] * Domovoi is now known as Ivan
  449. [20:20] <Cait> "By the way. I found these." She brings them over to where she put all the bear traps, "Should we use em tonight?"
  450. [20:20] * Rudiger points. "Vill spear into head group to Mansio-"
  451. [20:20] * Rudiger turns to the traps. "Perhaps?"
  452. [20:20] <KamenWriter> Someone needs to spend a slot booby trapping the camp.
  453. [20:20] <Elsa> "It vould be effective against some, but vould anger him after he announced his intent to challenge us directly."
  454. [20:21] <Cait> "Up to you. I wont put them down."
  455. [20:21] * Cait crosses her arms
  456. [20:21] <Elsa> "I am also not sure if he vill be supported by his soldiers, or simply fight alone."
  457. [20:21] * Elsa shakes her head, "I essentially have no input, it is up to you."
  458. [20:21] <Ivan> "We are in no position to fight with honor, I think."
  459. [20:22] <Rudiger> "Look, do ve vant to vin, or fight vith honor?"
  460. [20:23] <Cait> "Like I said, up to you. I'm not going to stop you, I'm just not going to put them down."
  461. [20:23] <Elsa> "If ve vere to anger a general, it might prompt ze osers to fight vizout honor as vell."
  462. [20:23] <Elsa> "He did mention his brozer who vished to hold off on an attack on ze city."
  463. [20:24] <Cait> She yawns again. "...I'm going to take a nap. I can't fight like this."
  464. [20:24] <Rudiger> "Hmm...." He strokes his mustache for a second and nods. "Ve set them after ze fight"
  465. [20:24] <Karsten> "Vell... okay."
  466. [20:24] * Karsten nods, as well.
  467. [20:24] <KamenWriter> So. Everyone put down what you're going to do for the evening slot.
  468. [20:31] <KamenWriter> Unless Cait changes her mind, she's napping, and everyone else decides to explore Castle dracul-I mean the mansion.
  469. [20:33] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  470. [20:33] <KamenWriter> So everyone arrives at the mansion. It is very large on the northeast edge of town. It's three stories tall, and most of its windows are broken or boarded up.
  471. [20:34] <KamenWriter> The front door hangs open, swinging in a barely perceptible wind and knocking gently against the doorframe
  472. [20:34] <Rudiger> "{How Imposing!}" He walks ahead to the door
  473. [20:34] * Elsa heads inside, looking around after calling out Wyrda for light
  474. [20:35] <KamenWriter> It's dark inside, but Wyrda is able to light up the grand hall. It's huge, with two large grandstaircases leading up to the second floor, and many many doors on both floors leading in many different directions.
  475. [20:36] * Elsa rubs at the growlithes neck, then walks further inside
  476. [20:36] <Rudiger> "{So.... we should stick together}"
  477. [20:36] * Rudiger walks ahead looking around the mansion
  478. [20:36] <Ivan> "{Strange to see a mansion like this in such a small town. They must have been important.}" Ivan walks in with Misha dozing over his shoulder.
  479. [20:36] <KamenWriter> However, most of the doors are boarded up.
  480. [20:36] <Karsten> Karsten is walking alongside Edelweiss, who is feeling a lot better after a day's rest.
  481. [20:37] <KamenWriter> Also, you can barely percieve it, but on the edges of your vision you can almost see shadows moving. Probably a trick of the light.
  482. [20:37] <KamenWriter> Once everyone is inside, the door slams shut loudly behind you and you can hear a lock click into place.
  483. [20:38] <KamenWriter> Hehehehehehehehe
  484. [20:38] <Karsten> "{A mayor perha-}" he whirls around.
  485. [20:38] <Rudiger> "{A TRAP!?}"
  486. [20:38] <KamenWriter> You hear from the shadows
  487. [20:38] <Ivan> 3d6+2 Occult
  488. [20:38] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Occult: 11 [3d6=6,1,2]
  489. [20:38] <Elsa> {Either a trap or a practical joke.}
  490. [20:39] <Karsten> "{Well, this is a fine mess.... }" he stares at the lock. "{What could be responsible...?}" he looks for the source of the laughter.
  491. [20:39] <KamenWriter> Ivan: for that role you remind yourself that few ghosts are outright violent. Most are, at worst, tricksters.
  492. [20:39] <KamenWriter> But some are dangerous.
  493. [20:39] <KamenWriter> You can't think of any of the really dangerous ones though
  494. [20:39] <Ivan> "{If it's ghosts, we may still be alright.}"
  495. [20:39] <Elsa> {I can think of a number of different reasons to lock us in an abandoned mansion.}
  496. [20:40] <Karsten> "Geists?" he shivers a bit.
  497. [20:40] <Elsa> {They could burn it down, drop furniture through rotten flooring, simply scare us into walking into holes. Most are only effective if we panic.}
  498. [20:40] <KamenWriter> You hear the creak of a door nearby. It seems that a large double-door to your right has opened on its own.
  499. [20:41] <Rudiger> "{Ghosts? Sounds like the war}"
  500. [20:41] <Karsten> {Well, let's... press forward in any case.}
  501. [20:41] <Ivan> "{Then I suppose we should not panic.}"
  502. [20:41] * Rudiger moves ahead, unspooked
  503. [20:41] <Elsa> {I see no reason to deprive them of their jokes.} She presses on towards the door
  504. [20:41] * Karsten follows the captain, looking towards the door.
  505. [20:42] * Ivan follows the Germans, looking more around and behind the group than forward.
  506. [20:43] <KamenWriter> You find yourself in a large dining room.
  507. [20:43] <KamenWriter> The room stretches up and up and up. If you shine light up above you can see a mural of angels frolicking around heaven on the cieling.
  508. [20:44] <KamenWriter> You can also see strange shapes floating up above, giggling.
  509. [20:44] <KamenWriter> Most likely ghosts, but in the gloom you can't tell which kinds.
  510. [20:45] <KamenWriter> There's another door, a servant's entrance probably leading to the kitchen, and strangely enough, the table seems to be set for dinner.
  511. [20:45] <Rudiger> "{How.... Strange.}" Rudiger looks around for anything else of note
  512. [20:45] <KamenWriter> A grandfather clock tick-tocks
  513. [20:45] * Ivan waves up at the shadows and calls out to them. "{Hello! What are you doing up there?}"
  514. [20:46] <KamenWriter> Hehehehehehehehe
  515. [20:46] <Karsten> {Please keep sharply on the lookout, Johann.} he says warily.
  516. [20:46] <KamenWriter> The shadows scatter.
  517. [20:46] <KamenWriter> Ivan, give me an athletics check
  518. [20:46] * Elsa starts towards one of the dinner table chairs, to sit
  519. [20:47] * Karsten decides to peek in the kitchen
  520. [20:47] <Ivan> 2d6+2
  521. [20:47] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, 2d6+2: 4 [2d6=1,1]
  522. [20:47] <KamenWriter> Alright then
  523. [20:47] <KamenWriter> Once you call up, everyone's focus is up. You don't notice when a pair of hands pulls the rug you're standing on out from under you.
  524. [20:47] <KamenWriter> Ivan falls on his tush
  525. [20:47] <KamenWriter> HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE
  526. [20:48] <KamenWriter> The chorus of laughs continues
  527. [20:48] <KamenWriter> Elsa: As soon as you sit, the candlabra on top of the table seems to ignite itself.
  528. [20:48] * Ivan looks surprisingly upset and confused. "{Ow...}"
  529. [20:48] * Rudiger checks the kitchen area as well
  530. [20:49] * Elsa smiles pleasantly, {I look forward to whatever happens.}
  531. [20:49] <KamenWriter> Rudiger heads forward into the kitchen.
  532. [20:49] <KamenWriter> And so does Karsten
  533. [20:50] * Karsten doesn't actually go IN, he just peeks
  534. [20:50] <KamenWriter> They are both inundated with a foul stench
  535. [20:50] * Rudiger coughs a little. "Ack!"
  536. [20:50] <KamenWriter> If they look in, they can see that many shadows are operating the stoves and cooking vile concotions on the burners.
  537. [20:50] * Ivan gets up off the ground, brushing dust off his coat and pants.
  538. [20:51] <Karsten> "Eugh..." he backs away from the door and wisely decides to join Elza at the table for the moment. {...Are you alright, Johann?}
  539. [20:51] <KamenWriter> The head chef seems to be a particularly bossy Shuppet. A Drifloon carries a cookbook and follows the head chef around.
  540. [20:51] <Ivan> "{I think so, just wounded pride more than anything.}"
  541. [20:51] <Elsa> {Are you going to be seated?}
  542. [20:51] <KamenWriter> The fire seems to get brighter when Karsten sits
  543. [20:53] <KamenWriter> Perception checks for those sitting at the table.
  544. [20:53] * Ivan takes a seat at the table as well.
  545. [20:53] <Karsten> 2d6+3 I'll throw an AP into this
  546. [20:53] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, I'll throw an AP into this: 8 [2d6=2,3]
  547. [20:53] * Rudiger tries to search for the source of the STANK
  548. [20:53] <Ivan> 3d6+2
  549. [20:53] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, 3d6+2: 18 [3d6=4,6,6]
  550. [20:53] <Elsa> 2d6+4
  551. [20:53] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, 2d6+4: 9 [2d6=4,1]
  552. [20:53] <KamenWriter> Ivan realizes as the candles get brighter as he sits
  553. [20:53] <KamenWriter> They aren't candles at all.
  554. [20:54] <KamenWriter> They're Litwicks
  555. [20:54] * Ivan gives a little wave to the Litwicks on the table. "{Hello.}"
  556. [20:55] <Rudiger> "{What's for dinner?}" Rudiger asks the shuppet, not really expecting an answer
  557. [20:56] <KamenWriter> The shuppet looks over at you, and smiles gaily
  558. [20:56] <KamenWriter> He barks some orders
  559. [20:56] * Karsten raises an eyebrow at Ivan. {Er, who are...} and then he takes a closer look at the candles.
  560. [20:56] <KamenWriter> And soon a Golett approaches, carrying a bowl of something purple and bubbling.
  561. [20:56] <KamenWriter> Ivan: The candles wave back with their little wax hands.
  562. [20:57] * Rudiger eyes the bowl and looks at the Drifloon and the Shuppet and the Golette
  563. [20:57] <KamenWriter> The three of them seem to want you to eat. The Drifloon holds out a spoon.
  564. [20:58] <Ivan> 3d6+1 lets try to Intuition this food
  565. [20:58] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, lets try to Intuition this food: 9 [3d6=1,2,5]
  566. [20:58] <KamenWriter> (OxO)
  567. [20:58] * Elsa smiles, taking a spoon and trying some
  568. [20:58] <Karsten> {Are they... they're pokemon? And... they're not hostile to us, are they?} he says in surprise.
  569. [20:58] * Rudiger sighs and tries it, not wanting to anger all the ghosts in here
  570. [20:58] <KamenWriter> Actually, Rudiger is the only one who's gotten food so far
  571. [20:58] <KamenWriter> He's in the kitchen
  572. [20:58] * Elsa holds off then
  573. [20:59] <KamenWriter> While you're all at the table. sorry for being unclear.
  574. [20:59] * Elsa rests her head on her hands and just smiles at the closest litwick
  575. [20:59] <KamenWriter> So. Rudiger, you taste the unknown purple stuff. It smells like death on a hot day.
  576. [20:59] <KamenWriter> It tastes worse if that's possible.
  577. [20:59] <Ivan> "{Hostile? I don't know. Ghosts can be tricky, but if they simply wanted to kill us, I think they could have by now.}"
  578. [21:00] <Karsten> {Well, remember that things aren't like normal would be back home.}
  579. [21:00] <Karsten> {These ghosts, they're not soldiers. That's... actually relieving, somewhat.}
  580. [21:01] <KamenWriter> The litwiks seems to nod at Elsa
  581. [21:01] <KamenWriter> Rudiger, I need a... hmmm
  582. [21:01] <Ivan> "{They may even be ghosts of people who live here, yes? They might just be...lonely?}"
  583. [21:02] <KamenWriter> I don't think there's a skill for this, so just give me a straight up body check. 3d6+your body score.
  584. [21:03] <Rudiger> 3d6+3 I got this
  585. [21:03] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, I got this: 12 [3d6=1,5,3]
  586. [21:03] <KamenWriter> Alright, while you are now hallucinating wildly, you remain concious.
  587. [21:03] <KamenWriter> You may now smell color, and your hands are suddenly very interesting.
  588. [21:04] * Rudiger looks around, a bit out of it. "{It's.... good.....}" He stares at his hands
  589. [21:04] <KamenWriter> All mind checks for you are now -5, all Spirit check, are, however +5 for the next hour.
  590. [21:07] <KamenWriter> So what do Rudiger, with your newfound understanding of the universe.
  591. [21:07] * Rudiger looks at the pokemon. "{My friends, would like to speak!?}"
  592. [21:08] <Rudiger> "{Maybe you meet my friends}"
  593. [21:08] * Rudiger points to the people at the table
  594. [21:08] <KamenWriter> The three ghost pokemon see to be okay with this. Also they look weird. Like, really weird. Like they're the mansion, and you're inside them, instead of the other way around.
  595. [21:09] * Elsa raises an eyebrow and reads his miiiiind whoa
  596. [21:09] <KamenWriter> The follow you wherever you take them, and their giggling sounds like toast smells.
  597. [21:09] * Rudiger shakes his head and turns to the group and stumbles back.
  598. [21:09] <KamenWriter> Yeah, Rudiger is tripping balls.
  599. [21:09] <KamenWriter> The three ghosts around him are giggling madly and circling around him.
  600. [21:09] <KamenWriter> It's a shuppet, a drifloon, and a golett.
  601. [21:10] <Elsa> {He appears to be under the effects of something, nothing harmful I assume.}
  602. [21:10] * Elsa turns back to the litwick
  603. [21:11] * Karsten blinks a few times at the captain. {...Oh dear. Probably a good idea I didn't join him in the kitchen.}
  604. [21:11] <KamenWriter> The litwicks giggle as well.
  605. [21:11] * Karsten speaks up more loudly. {Captain! Will you join us a moment, then?}
  606. [21:11] <Rudiger> "{Hello friends how are the colors? Smelling quite delicious I assume?}" He stumbles a bit and sits down. "{How about we talk about the wonderful people!}"
  607. [21:11] <Karsten> {...wow.}
  608. [21:12] <Ivan> "{This is not harmful to you?}"
  609. [21:12] <KamenWriter> Once Rudiger sits down, the Litwicks laugh out loud and blaze alive. Their fire climbs into a massive pillar and the whole room is lit up.
  610. [21:12] <Elsa> {Hopefully it will wear off before we must encounter Terrakion. Oh hurm, now that everyone is seated I suppose whatever will happen, will happen.}
  611. [21:13] <KamenWriter> <Yes, I suppose it will.> You hear, <Rare to have someone quite THIS calm come into my realm.>
  612. [21:13] <Rudiger> "{Only love is harmful to me. Or is it hohoho}"
  613. [21:13] * Rudiger totally lifts up the candle like it's a mug
  614. [21:13] <Karsten> {Who is there??}
  615. [21:13] <KamenWriter> <You shouldn't worry about your friend, he's under the effects of one of my subordinates... Tricks... HEHEHEHEHEHEHE.>
  616. [21:14] * Karsten looks around and into the fire.
  617. [21:14] <KamenWriter> The voice gets QUITE demonic suddenly as he laughs.
  618. [21:14] <KamenWriter> And suddenly the fire goes out.
  619. [21:14] <KamenWriter> You are plunged back into near perfect darkness (Except for Wyrda)
  620. [21:14] * Elsa scratches at Wyrda's neck
  621. [21:14] <KamenWriter> And a moment later... the lights come back up.
  622. [21:14] * Karsten shudders a bit.
  623. [21:15] <KamenWriter> A man in a conservative business suit is sitting at the head of the table.
  624. [21:15] <KamenWriter> "I apologize for the theatrics."
  625. [21:15] <KamenWriter> He appears to be human, and even sips on (What you hope is) wine.
  626. [21:15] <Rudiger> "{Hello sir, how is the day? Hope the weather tastes well!}"
  627. [21:15] <Karsten> "Are you... human?" he asks, hesitantly. "No, you couldn't be, could you?" he's switched to English to match.
  628. [21:16] * Cait (nekodes@i.dunno.lol) Quit ( Ping timeout )
  629. [21:16] <KamenWriter> "Not as such."
  630. [21:16] * Ivan looks at Rudiger and then at whoever he is. "Hello, anyway. May I ask who you are?"
  631. [21:16] <KamenWriter> "But don't worry, I have nothing to do with that petty war HE is waging against you."
  632. [21:17] <KamenWriter> "Of course, how rude of me."
  633. [21:17] <Elsa> Public, <I don't mean to be rude, but is there going to be food, or no? I don't want to insult you by pulling out my own food.>
  634. [21:17] <KamenWriter> He puts down the wine, "You may know me by many names."
  635. [21:17] <KamenWriter> "Satan, Mephistopheles..."
  636. [21:17] <KamenWriter> "I prefer Giratina myself."
  637. [21:18] <KamenWriter> "And yes. Dinner is served."
  638. [21:18] * Karsten looks alarmed. "You are se Devil...?"
  639. [21:18] <KamenWriter> He snaps his fingers and a lavish feast appears.
  640. [21:18] <KamenWriter> "Don't worry. Nothing like your friend ingested."
  641. [21:18] <Elsa> <I doubt that we will have the pleasure of food of this level from now on.>
  642. [21:19] <KamenWriter> "No, I don't suppose you will."
  643. [21:20] <KamenWriter> "Now normally, I would be explaining the rules of how this interaction is supposed to go."
  644. [21:20] <KamenWriter> "Soul bargains and the three chances to refuse me and all that."
  645. [21:20] <KamenWriter> "But seeing as how we're meeting in extenuating circumstances, this shall go somewhat differently."
  646. [21:21] * Cait (nekodes@sux-31CF3B73.hsd1.ks.comcast.net) has joined #OverthereGame
  647. [21:21] * Ivan pauses as he reaches for the food. "Yes?"
  648. [21:22] * Karsten frowns, but cautiously begins eating. "Sank you for se hospitality at least.}
  649. [21:22] * Cait (nekodes@sux-31CF3B73.hsd1.ks.comcast.net) Quit ( Quit: )
  650. [21:22] * Aeros (nekodes@i.dunno.lol) has joined #OverthereGame
  651. [21:22] * Aeros is now known as Cait
  652. [21:23] <Rudiger> "{Oh grumbs! I have already eaten all the colors!}" German gibberish
  653. [21:23] * Elsa smiles and nods, <Indeed, at least a nice meal before tonight comes to an end.>
  654. [21:24] <KamenWriter> "Indeed. I've been watching. I had a lovely view of your encounter from my attic window."
  655. [21:24] <KamenWriter> "But the religious among you should not fret. I am not after your souls... this time."
  656. [21:25] <KamenWriter> "After this is over and business is back, we may come to some kind of accord, but for now I need you all whole, and I cannot interfere directly."
  657. [21:26] <KamenWriter> "You see. I'm on your side. I'm like that smelly fairy. I like Humanity. You are all so wonderfully unpredictable, and fun, and the world would be lesser without you."
  658. [21:26] <KamenWriter> "Not to mention my favorite food will disappear."
  659. [21:26] <Ivan> "Feya was useless. What are you offering if you can't interfere?"
  660. [21:27] * Karsten cringes a bit at the implications.
  661. [21:27] <Elsa> <If you are to be the source of all the devil mythos, then would the opposite be true? Which side does the other side of the coin stand?>
  662. [21:27] <KamenWriter> "I think you can guess that, although religion isn't exactly right on the exact nature of him. He's the one that binds me up in all this red tape."
  663. [21:27] <KamenWriter> "However, I have found something of a... loophole."
  664. [21:28] <KamenWriter> "Loopholes are, after all, my specialty."
  665. [21:28] * Karsten listens, quietly.
  666. [21:30] <KamenWriter> "Essentially, I can trade you... goods and services."
  667. [21:30] <KamenWriter> "However, I can't GIVE you anything, because that would be direct influence, and I can't take anything of truly equal value."
  668. [21:30] <KamenWriter> "Or greater value for that matter."
  669. [21:31] <KamenWriter> "So, I have to trade for something with absolutely no value whatsoever in this world."
  670. [21:31] <Karsten> He considers that.
  671. [21:31] <KamenWriter> "Please tell me if you have any ideas."
  672. [21:31] <Karsten> ".."Money? It... is not that useful anymore, is it?"
  673. [21:32] <Elsa> <So we can't barter with services, or knowledge?>
  674. [21:33] <Rudiger> "{Let's trade colors.... but ale isn't beers!}"
  675. [21:33] * Karsten tries not to be embarassed by the captain.
  676. [21:33] * Ivan laughs as he sets about cutting up his food. "I write poem for you, very touching, but worthless here."
  677. [21:34] <KamenWriter> "Poems have personal value, however. Money, though? Yes. It might work, ironically enough."
  678. [21:34] <KamenWriter> "Little pieces of paper. Can't even eat them."
  679. [21:34] <KamenWriter> "Can barely burn them to keep you warm."
  680. [21:34] <KamenWriter> "Yes, that will do."
  681. [21:37] <KamenWriter> "I don't know how much money you have precisely, but there may be ways to get more."
  682. [21:37] <Karsten> "Surely sere is some around the village in places... and perhaps sere are oser places we may look."
  683. [21:39] <Ivan> "If ve are really in future, then zhere should still be money around somewhere."
  684. [21:39] <KamenWriter> "Ah yes. Although be careful. Every loophole has its closure."
  685. [21:39] <KamenWriter> "You can only spend so much money before it attains worth again."
  686. [21:39] <KamenWriter> "And I can't accept it anymore."
  687. [21:40] * Rudiger nods. "{But all things are worth together!}"
  688. [21:40] <KamenWriter> "Though, no telling when that will be. I'm a lawyer not an economist."
  689. [21:41] <Ivan> "What zings can you trade us?"
  690. [21:43] <KamenWriter> "Many things. Pokemon, Certain items of worth. Guns and ammunition. Training for your pokemon."
  691. [21:43] <Karsten> "Pokemon...?" he thinks about that.
  692. [21:43] <KamenWriter> "Naturally I deal mostly in ghosts or dragons, but I might be able to get my hands on some... rare stock."
  693. [21:44] <KamenWriter> "Yes. Loyal pokemon. Not like the angry ones outside."
  694. [21:44] <Karsten> "Sat may be exactly vat ve are in need of now."
  695. [21:45] <Ivan> "Anything useful against Terrakion? My own Pokemon, zhey are at disadvantage."
  696. [21:45] <KamenWriter> "Although the Frillish are still somewhat angry about all of that water pollution."
  697. [21:45] <Rudiger> "Vat is loyal!?"
  698. [21:47] <KamenWriter> "As far as Terrakion? Hmmmm..."
  699. [21:47] * Karsten hesitates a moment. "I cannot believe I am making ze deal vith Satan, but... sere are a lot of sings I cannot believe lately. Desperate times I do suppose."
  700. [21:47] <KamenWriter> "Well, you might try a Golett."
  701. [21:47] <KamenWriter> He gestures towards the little golem pokemon, who puffs out his little mechanical chest.
  702. [21:48] * Elsa rolls a spoon around in her hand, chewing on her lip
  703. [21:48] <KamenWriter> "To be fair, it's not a proper deal with me. That would involve a lot more paperwork."
  704. [21:48] <KamenWriter> "Think of this as a black market."
  705. [21:48] <Ivan> "And if ve go back to own time, vhere does Golett go?"
  706. [21:49] <KamenWriter> Giratina thinks for a moment.
  707. [21:50] <KamenWriter> "We're all here from disparate times and eras. History is in flux, as Celebi has no doubt explained."
  708. [21:50] <KamenWriter> "The short answer is... I'm not sure. If you use him enough to earn his trust he may become tied to your era rather than mine."
  709. [21:50] <KamenWriter> "Same with any pokemon you capture here."
  710. [21:52] <Karsten> Karsten speaks up. "If it is no trouble, may I take some of sis feast back for Cait?"
  711. [21:52] * Rudiger points. "I vill take zis ballon here.?"
  712. [21:53] <Ivan> "Unexpected but...acceptable. I vill take good care of him."
  713. [21:53] <KamenWriter> "How much money do you have anyway?"
  714. [21:53] <Karsten> "I hafe... ten marks."
  715. [21:53] <KamenWriter> "I should know how much there is in the world, so I don't inflate the prices too fast."
  716. [21:54] <Ivan> "Ten francs."
  717. [21:54] <Elsa> <Ten as well.>
  718. [21:55] <KamenWriter> "Ah, that's simple."
  719. [21:56] <KamenWriter> "Lets put the price at... One... whatever you have... for a pokemon. 3 for a move tutoring, and... I suppose it varies from item to item for the items and weapons of interest."
  720. [21:57] <KamenWriter> "However, In an effort to keep this under out hats for as long as possible, how about we keep it to one purchase per day per person."
  721. [21:57] <Karsten> "I see... sese purchases will be truly important sen."
  722. [21:58] <Ivan> "Agreed. Ve play around rules as long as ve can." He finishes his food, takes a franc out of his coat pocket, and slides it across the table.
  723. [21:58] <Rudiger> "Ize sere are zings ve need very?"
  724. [22:00] <KamenWriter> The Golett walks over to you, Ivan, and Giratina produces a black pokeball and passes it across the table.
  725. [22:00] <Karsten> "I vill reserve my purchase until I see vat stock you hafe."
  726. [22:00] <Elsa> <Are the litwicks yours to barter as well?>
  727. [22:00] <KamenWriter> "Pleasure doing business."
  728. [22:00] <KamenWriter> "Of course."
  729. [22:01] <Karsten> "But I vould like to deal before Terrakion comes if possible."
  730. [22:01] <KamenWriter> "They are very impressed with your... talents, miss."
  731. [22:01] <Elsa> <They flatter me, I am nothing special compared to many.>
  732. [22:02] * Ivan looks to the Golett and offers his hand. "Hello. I am sorry to put you in position like zhis, is very selfish of me. I vill try to keep you safe."
  733. [22:02] <KamenWriter> It nods and shakes your hand. The Golett seems to think he's people.
  734. [22:03] <Rudiger> "I vill also take stock, but should take ze balloon or ze cook?"?
  735. [22:03] <KamenWriter> Level 25 Golett
  736. [22:03] <KamenWriter> 1d36
  737. [22:03] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d36: 7 [1d36=7]
  738. [22:03] <KamenWriter> He's Lonely
  739. [22:04] <Elsa> <As it is, stands, I would like to speak with the litwicks before I make my decision.>
  740. [22:04] <KamenWriter> It seems the Golett is happy to have a trainer and hops right into your lap.
  741. [22:04] <KamenWriter> "Feel free."
  742. [22:06] <Karsten> "I vould say it is up to you, Captain."
  743. [22:06] <KamenWriter> Having a Golett in your lap is unpleasant, but not fatal
  744. [22:06] <Ivan> "Oof!" Ivan recoils at the sudden weigh (200 pounds!) but gives Golett a pat on the head anyway.
  745. [22:08] <KamenWriter> Elsa: The Litwicks wait patiently for you to talk :3 There are three of them on the candlabra.
  746. [22:09] * Elsa is privately speaking with them
  747. [22:10] <KamenWriter> The litwicks look among one another.
  748. [22:10] <KamenWriter> 3d36 Lets see here
  749. [22:10] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Lets see here: 55 [3d36=23,29,3]
  750. [22:11] <KamenWriter> The third one seems to step up, all proud of himself. However, the Jolly one seems to want to come with and argues.
  751. [22:11] <KamenWriter> The gentle one sits by and just looks up at Elsa :3
  752. [22:14] <KamenWriter> The Gentle one :Os at Elsa's prodding, but seems to have a determined face.
  753. [22:14] <KamenWriter> It nods.
  754. [22:15] <Elsa> <Alright Giratina, a deal.>
  755. [22:16] * Elsa hands over a mark
  756. [22:17] <KamenWriter> The proud one seems scanalized it wasn't picked, but the Jolly one is okay with it.
  757. [22:17] <KamenWriter> The Gentle one approaches. His glow is just slightly dimmer than the other two, but no less hot.
  758. [22:17] <KamenWriter> Giratina passes you a black pokeball and the deal is struck.
  759. [22:17] * Rudiger hands over a mark as well. "I vill converse vit ze ballon later. Vut take ze colors off my mind."
  760. [22:18] <KamenWriter> "Very well."
  761. [22:18] <KamenWriter> 1d36
  762. [22:18] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d36: 3 [1d36=3]
  763. [22:18] <KamenWriter> The Drifloon approaches. It is Proud, and seems to enjoy you in all your tripping ways.
  764. [22:19] <KamenWriter> He takes hold of your cheeks with his little baloonhands and pinches your face into a smile.
  765. [22:19] <KamenWriter> (^x^) ~Floon
  766. [22:19] * Rudiger does not appreciate this, but aknowledges it
  767. [22:21] <KamenWriter> However, as you're getting to know your new pokemon
  768. [22:21] <KamenWriter> The area suddenly fills with a strange grey mist.
  769. [22:22] <KamenWriter> A thick fog falls upon the room, and soon you can't see three feet in front of you.
  770. [22:22] <Cait> "How could you..."
  771. [22:22] * Elsa takes the litwick and puts it on her shoulder
  772. [22:23] <KamenWriter> HEHEHEHEHEHEHHE
  773. [22:23] <KamenWriter> There is a ghostly laugh echoing the voice's words
  774. [22:23] * Rudiger laughs as well
  775. [22:24] * Cait floats over the table, transparent and floating, "How could you...you sold my soul...for pokemon? How could you not have known..."
  776. [22:24] <KamenWriter> OooOOoOOOooOooooHowcouldyouoooOoooOOooooOOooo
  777. [22:25] * Rudiger looks around
  778. [22:25] * Elsa looks towards Giratina, <And is this true?>
  779. [22:25] * Cait covers her face, and begins sobbing loudly.
  780. [22:26] <KamenWriter> You can't quite see Giratina's face in the mist, but he almost seems to be covering his face is barely contained laughter.
  781. [22:26] <KamenWriter> *in
  782. [22:27] * Elsa raises an eyebrow, <Either a false mimicry, which I might add is a tad more weepy than the real one has shown. Or you are laughing at a loophole you have forced us into?>
  783. [22:27] <KamenWriter> Reactions from Ivan and Karsten?
  784. [22:28] * Rudiger laughs
  785. [22:28] * Ivan attempts to stand, pushing the Golett out of his lap. He switches into Russian. "{Devil! Her soul is not mine to sell! Return!}"
  786. [22:28] <Karsten> "{W-what?}"
  787. [22:29] <Rudiger> "{Sounds like gibberish from here}"
  788. [22:29] <Karsten> He seems shocked. {What is this nonsense? If this is the price your services will take then I do not want a part of them!}
  789. [22:29] <KamenWriter> "Alright, that's quite enough of that," says Giratina, "You're interfering with business."
  790. [22:29] <KamenWriter> He claps his hands
  791. [22:29] <KamenWriter> The mist instantly disperses
  792. [22:30] <Cait> "How could you...how could you...! ...how could you believe something so corny!" She begins laughing.
  793. [22:30] <Karsten> "...vat."
  794. [22:30] * Karsten blinks.
  795. [22:30] * Elsa continues eating
  796. [22:30] <KamenWriter> Cait is instantly revealed to be floating with the aid of a large, gaseous pokemon.
  797. [22:30] * Cait drops down onto the table, "Yeah yeah." She looks sideways at the man in the suit. She hops off the table.
  798. [22:30] <KamenWriter> The pokemon, a Spiritomb, is laughing as well,
  799. [22:30] <KamenWriter> <Sorry boss. I couldn't resist.>
  800. [22:31] <KamenWriter> "I understand. A little warning would be appreciated, however. I would like to enjoy the joke as well, you know."
  801. [22:31] * Karsten stands up, furious. "Vat is vrong vit you??" he reaches over and physically shakes Cait, though more in a comedic way than violent. "Sat vas not funny!"
  802. [22:31] * Rudiger starts laughing too
  803. [22:31] <Cait> "It was KINDA funny."
  804. [22:32] * Karsten sits back down and grumbles.
  805. [22:32] <Rudiger> "Vat a joke!" He claps
  806. [22:32] * Cait looks at Rudiger, "...is he okay?"
  807. [22:32] <Elsa> "He is slightly hindered, at ze moment."
  808. [22:32] <Cait> She exhales, and nods.
  809. [22:32] <Rudiger> "I fine, vat sere problem?" He laughs again
  810. [22:33] <Karsten> "You actually had me vorried ve had done somesing unforgivable."
  811. [22:33] <KamenWriter> "Something he ate," says Giratina, "But I assume my subordinate has filled you in Miss?"
  812. [22:33] <Cait> "He has, do you know my answer?"
  813. [22:33] * Ivan turns a deep red, recalls the Golett, and stands. He brushes his hands down his coat and walks out of the dining room.
  814. [22:33] <KamenWriter> "Yes, I know it."
  815. [22:33] <KamenWriter> "And I respect your decision."
  816. [22:34] * Elsa excises herself from the table and goes to follow Ivan
  817. [22:35] <KamenWriter> "Ah well, I suppose dinner is over. Thank you all for your time. Don't worry about your friend. The effects will wear off by your fight this evening."
  818. [22:35] <Karsten> "Sat is good to know at least..."
  819. [22:35] <KamenWriter> "And I do have one thing to say."
  820. [22:36] <KamenWriter> He stands up, picking up a small briefcase he had set down by his feet. It appears to have a padlock over it and cannot be opened.
  821. [22:36] <Cait> "I guess I'll help him ...yes?" she says begrudgingly helping the drunk/high german stand.
  822. [22:36] * Karsten raises an eyebrow at Giratina.
  823. [22:37] <KamenWriter> "Good luck, to all of you. Not every pokemon is on their side. I would rather see humanity continue, and not just because your souls happen to be a favorite collectible of mine."
  824. [22:37] <KamenWriter> "It's because you've given me some of the best times I've ever had. It would be a lonely universe without you."
  825. [22:37] * Rudiger waves Cait away. "Unhand me sere!"
  826. [22:38] <KamenWriter> "So. I hope you succeed. I'll post a price list by the door in case you wish to trade for something else later tonight."
  827. [22:38] * Karsten nods.
  828. [22:38] * Cait eyes 'man' not saying anything. She more htan happy pushes Rudiger away if he's going to be rude. She walks out by herself.
  829. [22:38] <Cait> more than happily*
  830. [22:38] <KamenWriter> "Good luck... and..." He slowly seems to melt away and in his place a large, horrific pokemon appears in his place, "Good evening."
  831. [22:39] * Rudiger stumbles about
  832. [22:39] * Karsten looks horrified.
  833. [22:39] <KamenWriter> The Horrorterror slowly disappears.
  834. [22:39] * Cait keeps her eye on the giratina as she leaves.
  835. [22:39] <KamenWriter> And the room finally goes perfectly dark.
  836. [22:39] <KamenWriter> You hear <I will be in my study downstairs. Miss Cait can show you the way.>
  837. [22:40] <KamenWriter> And then the presence is gone
  838. [22:40] <KamenWriter> You all exit the room and then the house in your own time, shaken by the experience but perhaps gladdened that you have such a powerful ally on your side.
  839. [22:41] * Rudiger looks at the air filled with whimsy~
  840. [22:41] <KamenWriter> But alas, there is only so much daylight, and it's falling. The pokemon will return, and with them, Terrakion.
  841. [22:42] <KamenWriter> You ready yourselves for this fight, long before you're properly ready, and hope that all goes well.
  842. [22:43] <KamenWriter> You have successfully allied yourself with Giratina. A New Option will open up for your perusal. You all gain +1 trainer level and 50 Pokemon Exp for all of the events of the day.
  843. [22:44] <KamenWriter> NEW TIME ON AROUND THE WORLD! WILL OUR DOUGHBOYS BE ABLE TO BEAT THE MENACE OF TERRAKION?
  844. [22:44] <KamenWriter> UNCLE SAM SURE THINKS SO!
  845. [22:44] <KamenWriter> BUY WAR BONDS.
  846. [22:45] <Karsten> ~
  847. [22:45] <KamenWriter> NEXT TIME, SOLDIERS! GODSPEED!
  848. [22:45] * Karsten is now known as Kain
  849. [22:45] <KamenWriter> /session
  850. [22:45] * Rudiger is now known as Gents
  851. [22:46] * Cait is now known as Aeros
  852. [22:47] <Elsa> http://pastebin.com/Xg7HDiCS
  853. [22:48] <KamenWriter> Oh and remember your homework
  854. [22:48] <KamenWriter> A Journal/Poem/letter/etc. for a level
  855. [22:48] <Ivan> same as last time? :o
  856. [22:48] <Gents> I'll make another larger journal
  857. [22:50] <KamenWriter> Yup
  858. [22:50] <KamenWriter> It's gonna be up for grabs every week
  859. [22:50] <KamenWriter> Because I want your level to grow quickly
  860. [22:50] <KamenWriter> Because... well..
  861. [22:51] <KamenWriter> You ran into one of the major bosses on day two
  862. [22:51] <Elsa> my reaction when
  863. [22:51] <Elsa> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I03UmJbK0lA
  864. [22:52] <Kain> Karsten really is starting to think he's gone mad
  865. [22:52] <Kain> Poor guy
  866. [22:52] <Gents> Rudiger was like "What the fuck"
  867. [22:53] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  868. [22:53] <KamenWriter> So I'm gonna continue using this room for Ivan's minis
  869. [22:53] <KamenWriter> So move OOC chatter to OverThereMans
  870. [22:54] <KamenWriter> So Ivan, first off: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmO3CwaBeW_odGFsdXRURTFubTBWQlhMS0FYVHZaWnc&usp=sharing
  871. [22:54] <KamenWriter> Morning. What do you want to do.
  872. [22:55] <Ivan> Scout North since no one else did
  873. [22:56] <KamenWriter> Alright then. TO FLOCKDRAW
  874. [22:56] <Ivan> do i need to login in
  875. [22:56] <KamenWriter> Also my Flockdraw crashed, so if anyone else has it open still you can save the picture and post it for everyone else's benefit maybe?
  876. [22:56] <KamenWriter> you only have to put in a name
  877. [22:56] <KamenWriter> http://flockdraw.com/axg7yq
  878. [22:57] <KamenWriter> So you head north
  879. [22:57] <KamenWriter> Do you want to head along the train track or through the woods?
  880. [22:58] <Ivan> Along the track
  881. [22:58] <KamenWriter> Ok
  882. [22:58] <KamenWriter> You go north along the train tracks. The mountains loom closer and closer as you approach.
  883. [22:58] <KamenWriter> Until finally
  884. [22:58] * Elsa is now known as Happymancer
  885. [22:59] <KamenWriter> You come to the entrance of a tunnel. However, the tunnel appears to have caved in
  886. [22:59] <KamenWriter> The tunnel entrance itself is barely recognizable except for the square blocks that have fallen inside.
  887. [23:00] <KamenWriter> And by the fact that the train tracks run under the rocks.
  888. [23:01] <KamenWriter> However, there's still enough time to explore in the morning. You might walk along the mountain and try to find something else out.
  889. [23:01] <Ivan> Let's go east along the mountain
  890. [23:01] <KamenWriter> If so, Specify east or west
  891. [23:01] <KamenWriter> Alright.
  892. [23:01] <KamenWriter> Stealth check please
  893. [23:02] <Ivan> 4d6+2 finally Ivan gets a relevant skill check
  894. [23:02] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, finally Ivan gets a relevant skill check: 13 [4d6=2,1,5,3]
  895. [23:03] <KamenWriter> Alright, knowing that everywhere off the beaten path is potentially enemy territory, you head east along the mountain carefully and stealthily.
  896. [23:03] <KamenWriter> Soon, you come to a cave. The purple dot
  897. [23:04] <KamenWriter> You see a few "Trees" that you now know to be Sudowoodo in disguise standing guard.
  898. [23:04] <KamenWriter> (This is a different cave than the one you guys ran into BTW)
  899. [23:05] <KamenWriter> You get the feeling that this place is guarded enough to be important. Perhaps an entrance to an enemy stronghold?
  900. [23:05] <KamenWriter> It would take another time unit to attempt to sneak past the Sudos and explore the cave.
  901. [23:06] * Ivan is much too clever to risk getting caught by more ROCKS.
  902. [23:06] <KamenWriter> Alright. Ivan Found a second entrance to an enemy base!
  903. [23:06] <Ivan> Spend the second time unit scouting north of the town by traveling back through the woods~
  904. [23:07] <KamenWriter> You don't have to spend a time unit to get back. You can assume you made time to get back, but if you want to scout the area north of town some more.
  905. [23:07] * Aeros (nekodes@i.dunno.lol) Quit ( Quit: )
  906. [23:07] <Ivan> Then do that, yes.
  907. [23:07] <KamenWriter> Um
  908. [23:07] <KamenWriter> Alright
  909. [23:08] <KamenWriter> This is gonna be hilarious
  910. [23:08] <KamenWriter> You explore around north of the town, and by walking along the mountain some more...
  911. [23:08] <KamenWriter> You find THIS cave.
  912. [23:09] <KamenWriter> You don't have to roll a stealth check because the guards already seem to have caught someone.
  913. [23:09] <KamenWriter> And soon enough from your vantage point in the trees, you see that Elsa has been injured lightly by rolling rocks and Rudiger is desperately trying to get her to move. They are confronting a grey, Horned pokemon that looks huge and imposing.
  914. [23:10] <KamenWriter> However, Elsa isn't being killed right away. You aren't included in their psychic conversation, but you think perhaps it would be better to wait by and see what happens before blowing your cover.
  915. [23:11] <KamenWriter> However, the last part is huge. Terrakion seems determined to attack your camp that night. He lets Elsa and Rudiger go and enters the cave.
  916. [23:11] * Ivan does exactly that, watching the two Germans and Terrakion.
  917. [23:11] <KamenWriter> You note that the cave is, at least momentarily, unguarded. You could sneak right in.
  918. [23:13] * Ivan takes advantage of the lack of rockguards and sneaks over to the cave.
  919. [23:13] <Ivan> 4d6+2+2 AP
  920. [23:13] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, AP: 22 [4d6=4,5,4,5]
  921. [23:14] <KamenWriter> You are good.
  922. [23:14] <KamenWriter> You are a goddamn shadow as you sneak in. Even as the sudos come back, you blend in and they don't spot you.
  923. [23:15] <KamenWriter> The cave narrows down in the back, and you see the Terrakion take a left turn and disappear down the cave wall
  924. [23:16] <KamenWriter> You ride that awesome stealth check all the way to the back, where there's a cross road. There's the left passage where Terra went, and the right. You don't know what's to the right because it's pretty dark.
  925. [23:16] <Ivan> Better not to risk also getting caught by the angry deerthing. Ivan goes to the right.
  926. [23:16] <KamenWriter> Although bioluminescent lichen gives you a little, but not much. visibility.
  927. [23:17] <KamenWriter> Alright.
  928. [23:17] <KamenWriter> You solid snake that shit to the right. .
  929. [23:18] <KamenWriter> It's a fairly straightforward cave.
  930. [23:18] <KamenWriter> However, you notice that the further you go, the hotter it gets.
  931. [23:19] <KamenWriter> And as you get closer, you hear a voice. It seems to be inside your head. It's very loud and gruff, but abiable at the same time.
  932. [23:20] <KamenWriter> <Y'don't haveta stand guard over me y'know.>
  933. [23:21] <KamenWriter> You then hear noises like a Golem in answer. You can't understand.
  934. [23:21] <KamenWriter> <I ain't done nothing yet. I know I was friends with a human once. That was a long time 'go. I'm just here t'watch.>
  935. [23:22] * Ivan presses into the wall and tries to think quiet thoughts as he inches down the cave.
  936. [23:22] <KamenWriter> As you round one last corner, you see the following sight: An absolutely MASSIVE Red creature with a huge shovel-like tail, big claws, a mouth fulla teeth, and spikes all along his body.
  937. [23:24] <KamenWriter> He is being guarded by a Golem, a Poliwrath, and a Conkeldurr
  938. [23:24] <KamenWriter> You also feel a hot aura coming off of this pokemon.
  939. [23:25] <KamenWriter> The Groudon appears to be leaning against a wall, crossing his arms. He stands almost like some kind of cocky cowboy now. I wonder why.
  940. [23:25] <KamenWriter> Still, he isn't moving from his spot.
  941. [23:26] <KamenWriter> The Poliwhirl taunts him, and Groudon does the closest thing to a tsk that a giant earth dragon can manage.
  942. [23:27] <KamenWriter> <Having a trainer don't mean nothin' in this world. Give ya character, as long as the trainer earns your trust the right way.>
  943. [23:27] <KamenWriter> <Be glad to see that gone if them humans don't succeed, sure, but...>
  944. [23:28] <KamenWriter> The pokemon go a little nuts at the idea that being owned could be good.
  945. [23:28] <KamenWriter> The Groudon shuts up and the Poliwrath and Conkeldurr take up the watch.
  946. [23:29] <KamenWriter> The Golem begins to walk towards you, his watch is up and it appears he's leaving.
  947. [23:29] * Ivan pulls at his collar in the heat as he watches. He looks at Groudon and arranges his thoughts: [Please don't let them know I'm here, Peklenc.]
  948. [23:29] <KamenWriter> He can't hear you. He can project but he can't recieve.
  949. [23:29] <Ivan> Is there anything to hide behind as Golem passes or is it time to leave?
  950. [23:30] <KamenWriter> Let me check something real qucik
  951. [23:30] <KamenWriter> Yeah, there's something to hide behind. Give me another stealth check
  952. [23:30] <Ivan> 4d6+2
  953. [23:31] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, 4d6+2: 11 [4d6=1,1,3,4]
  954. [23:32] <KamenWriter> There's a slight lip to the entrance to this cave. You push yourself up against the wall and manage to stay hidden.
  955. [23:33] <KamenWriter> You continue to look at the creature that is apparently under Terrakion's captivity
  956. [23:35] <KamenWriter> What do you do? You are watching Groudon sit quietly in captivity.
  957. [23:36] <KamenWriter> The Poliwrath and Conkeldurr continue to pace around it, giving it dirty looks.
  958. [23:36] * Ivan ponders why Groudon would let itself be held captive...what would the roll be to attack from stealth without being revealed?
  959. [23:37] <KamenWriter> Hmmm. You can roll an attack and then a stealth check to remain hidden.
  960. [23:37] * Ivan searches the ground for a rock rather than fire his gun.
  961. [23:37] <KamenWriter> It'll be a relatively high DC, however. Doable but high.
  962. [23:37] <KamenWriter> You find such a rock
  963. [23:38] <KamenWriter> Big enough to do damage, small enough to throw
  964. [23:38] * Ivan holds the rock in his hands, tells himself sometimes you need to sow a little chaos, and then hurls it at the Poliwrath.
  965. [23:38] <Ivan> 1d20
  966. [23:38] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, 1d20: 17 [1d20=17]
  967. [23:39] <Ivan> 4d6+2 Stealth
  968. [23:39] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Stealth: 9 [4d6=2,3,1,1]
  969. [23:39] <KamenWriter> The Poliwrath is hit by the rock. You attempt to hide yourself again, but you do not manage it.
  970. [23:40] <KamenWriter> The Poliwrath Makes a loud noise, alerting the Conkeldurr to your presence
  971. [23:40] <Ivan> "{Nevermind!}" He turns to flee!
  972. [23:41] <KamenWriter> And you're either in combat or running away. There's no alarm system so it's just the pokemon in this room who okay you run away.
  973. [23:42] <KamenWriter> They chase after you, naturally.
  974. [23:42] <KamenWriter> Both pokemon have higher overland capabilities than you, however. Conkeldurr moves very fast in particular for something carrying giant blocks of stone
  975. [23:43] <Ivan> Of course!
  976. [23:43] <KamenWriter> So, Athletics to run.
  977. [23:43] <KamenWriter> You need to get the hell away.
  978. [23:43] <Ivan> "{Very bad idea! Get myself killed!}"
  979. [23:43] <Ivan> 2d6+2 Athletics
  980. [23:43] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Athletics: 8 [2d6=3,3]
  981. [23:43] <KamenWriter> How average
  982. [23:44] <KamenWriter> Unfortunately it's not really good enough. The Conkeldurr is able to catch up to you easily.
  983. [23:45] <KamenWriter> He drops his stone block and grabs ahold of your shirt collar, stopping you in your tracks.
  984. [23:45] * Ivan flails wildly anyway.
  985. [23:45] <KamenWriter> He drags you back into the "Prison" chamber.
  986. [23:46] <KamenWriter> The two pokemon seem to confer amongst themselves as they throw you to the ground next to Groudon.
  987. [23:46] <KamenWriter> The Conkeldurr then goes to get someone, while the Poliwrath stays, eyeing the two of you harshly.
  988. [23:47] <KamenWriter> <Too bad. Got caught.>
  989. [23:47] <KamenWriter> <I was rooting for you.>
  990. [23:48] <KamenWriter> <Groudon.> He says his name.
  991. [23:48] * Ivan covers his face in his hands. "{Day and half here and I get killed. They call me Ivan.}"
  992. [23:48] <KamenWriter> <Might not kill you. Might hold you ransom if you're more use dead than alive.>
  993. [23:48] <KamenWriter> <Then kill you.>
  994. [23:49] <KamenWriter> He holds out a massive claw to you to shake. it's a weirdly human thing for him to do.
  995. [23:50] * Ivan shakes the Groudon's hand, then turns to face the Poliwrath and steel himself. "{I will not be held ransom and used as trap. I would rather die in fight than in cage.}"
  996. [23:51] <KamenWriter> <He doesn't know what you just said. He speaks eye-talian, not German.>
  997. [23:51] <KamenWriter> <Most of the pokemon here only understand to eye-talian or mind-speak, if they understand language at all.>
  998. [23:52] <Ivan> "{I thought as much.}" He huffs. "{But now there is only one of him instead of two.}"
  999. [23:52] <KamenWriter> <True... What were you gonna do if you managed to spring me anyway?>
1000. [23:53] <KamenWriter> <Your answer may decide whether I decide to help you or not.> He says this part "Quietly" so the poliwrath can't hear.
1001. [23:54] <Ivan> "{Go back to base. I just did not like to see you captive. You are free to make own choice, like everyone.}"
1002. [23:54] <KamenWriter> He thinks about this for a moment.
  1003. [23:54] <KamenWriter> <Good answer.>
  1004. [23:55] <KamenWriter> <S'aright. Let's get this show on the road.>
  1005. [23:57] * Ivan retrieves a Pokeball and releases a HOOTHOOT. "{Elona! Extraction!}" (Ivan 22, Elona 11)
  1006. [23:58] <KamenWriter> Alright!
1007. [23:58] <KamenWriter> One sec while I figure out speeds
  1008. [23:59] <KamenWriter> Also I can't put the speeds in the topic
  1009. [23:59] <KamenWriter> Turn order: Ivan 22, Groudon, Poliwrath, Elona 11
1010. [00:00] * Ivan steps towarsd the Poliwrath and scuffs the cave floor. Sand-Attack!
  1011. [00:00] <KamenWriter> <And to think. I thought I wasn't gonna get involved. If they hadn'ta locked me up here I might notta been.>
  1012. [00:00] <Ivan> 1d20 AC2
  1013. [00:00] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, AC2: 9 [1d20=9]
  1014. [00:01] <KamenWriter> It hits!
  1015. [00:01] <KamenWriter> The Poli's evasion falls
1016. [00:02] <KamenWriter> Groudon Wants to keep a low profile even if he's a huge earth Dragon thing, so he doesn't pull out the Earthquake or Lava Plume or Eruption mojo
  1017. [00:03] <KamenWriter> 1d20 Hammer Arm on PoliWrath, because he doesn't want to cause a cave-in
  1018. [00:03] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Hammer Arm on PoliWrath, because he doesn't want to cause a cave-in: 10 [1d20=10]
  1019. [00:03] <KamenWriter> 3d12+10+24 Pow
  1020. [00:03] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Pow: 51 [3d12=5,2,10]
1021. [00:04] <KamenWriter> It hits, and Groudon's speed lowers one stage
1022. [00:04] <KamenWriter> The Poliwrath doesn't take TOO much damage though. It seems they knew what they were doing when they put this guy in charge of guarding a goddamn Groudon.
1023. [00:05] <KamenWriter> No offense, but Groudon's kind of the bigger threat than a human and a Hoothoot
1024. [00:06] <KamenWriter> The Poliwrath begins to dance, and the searing heat from Groudon is replaced by refreshing rain... indoors?
  1025. [00:06] <KamenWriter> It is now raining
1026. [00:07] <KamenWriter> Poliwrath is still in the way. Hoothoot's turn
1027. [00:07] <Ivan> Elona flutters over to land on Ivan's shoulder and then waves a wing. Air Cutter~
  1028. [00:07] <Ivan> 1d20 AC2
  1029. [00:07] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, AC2: 18 [1d20=18]
  1030. [00:07] <KamenWriter> Critical hit :o
  1031. [00:08] <Ivan> 5d10+20+10 Special Flying
  1032. [00:08] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Special Flying: 57 [5d10=8,5,9,1,4]
1033. [00:09] <KamenWriter> Groudon seems impressed. Your Hoothoot hit the Poliwrath pretty hard with one attack. He looks severely weakened.
1034. [00:10] <KamenWriter> You can hear a commotion coming from behind the poli
1035. [00:10] <KamenWriter> You need to finish this soon, as you hear <GGGGGRRRREEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!>
  1036. [00:10] <KamenWriter> From down the hall.
  1037. [00:10] <KamenWriter> Terrakion is coming
  1038. [00:10] <KamenWriter> Probably with reinforcements
  1039. [00:10] <KamenWriter> Ivan's turn
1040. [00:11] <Ivan> "{We need to leave! Get out of way!}" He gets up to the Poliwrath and tries to push him away. Tickle?
  1041. [00:11] <Ivan> 1d20 AC2
  1042. [00:11] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, AC2: 20 [1d20=20]
  1043. [00:11] <KamenWriter> He is tickled.
  1044. [00:12] <KamenWriter> Groudon thinks for a minute.
  1045. [00:12] <KamenWriter> <I don't think we're gettin' out thataway.>
1046. [00:12] <KamenWriter> For one thing Groudon is, like WAY bigger than the cavern.
  1047. [00:12] <Ivan> "{You are god of underground, can we just go...underground?}"
1048. [00:12] <KamenWriter> And for another, you can already see pokemon approaching in the distance
  1049. [00:13] <KamenWriter> <...s'aright.>
1050. [00:13] <KamenWriter> However, he lays one last attack on the reeling Poliwrath.
1051. [00:14] <KamenWriter> (Wow. This WAS a good guard dog for Groudon. Most of hit attacks are NVE on Poliwrath.)
  1052. [00:15] <KamenWriter> <Get ready, this is gonna be a bumpy one.>
1053. [00:15] <KamenWriter> He picks you up, before he begins to slam his tail into the ground.
1054. [00:15] <KamenWriter> 1d20 Oh my god Earthquake indoors why would you do that?
1055. [00:15] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Oh my god Earthquake indoors why would you do that?: 13 [1d20=13]
1056. [00:15] * Ivan yelps quietly an reaches up to clutch Elona close.
1057. [00:16] <KamenWriter> You are unaffected by the earthquake being as you are in Groudon's arms, although the Poliwrath is Knocked right out by it.
  1058. [00:16] <Ivan> "{South, go south!}"
1059. [00:17] <KamenWriter> The falling rocks, however? Those are a little harder to dodge.
  1060. [00:17] <KamenWriter> The tunnel is collapsing.
1061. [00:17] <KamenWriter> However, unseen by you, the Groudon faces north and begins burrowing into the southern wall with his tail while protecting you from the falling rocks with his body.
1062. [00:18] <KamenWriter> You are able to see Terrakion, ENRAGED, enter the chamber just before it collapsed.
1063. [00:19] <KamenWriter> You are plunged into darkness. Very hot, sticky darkness as Groudon's... sunny disposition has returned. You can feel the rain evaporating from your body.
1064. [00:19] <KamenWriter> However, soon you're bathed in light. Groudon Koolaid man's out of the wall (See Mapmaker)... About here.
1065. [00:20] * Ivan opens his eyes, squinting into the sun. "{We are alive? Thank you!}"
  1066. [00:21] <KamenWriter> <You were willing ta save me. I'm willing ta save you.>
  1067. [00:21] <KamenWriter> <'Course, now I gotta lay low.>
  1068. [00:21] <KamenWriter> He puts you down.
1069. [00:22] * Ivan lets go of Elona and quickly hugs Groudon's leg or arm, whichever he can reach. "{Yes, of course, stay safe.}"
  1070. [00:22] <KamenWriter> He's amused by the sudden hug.
  1071. [00:22] <KamenWriter> <No problem pardner. Stay safe.>
  1072. [00:23] <KamenWriter> <I guess this means I took a side. 'course, that's not all roses for you.>
1073. [00:23] <KamenWriter> <My... opposite is skulking around here somewhere. If word gets out I helped you, he might join on the other side.>
1074. [00:24] <KamenWriter> <Not to mention the green buzzkill flyin' around givin' orders. He won't be too happy none.>
1075. [00:24] <KamenWriter> <If'n they start givin' you trouble, well... I guess I won't be neurtal no more. Come find me. I'll find a nice cave somewhere to lay low.>
  1076. [00:25] <Ivan> "{Hopefully it won't come to that, but I'll tell the others.}"
  1077. [00:25] <KamenWriter> <S'aright.>
  1078. [00:25] <KamenWriter> He waves goodbye.
1079. [00:25] <KamenWriter> And then he... DIVES into the ground, digging furiously.
1080. [00:26] * Ivan waves back and motions for Elona to follow him back to town before Terrakion has a chance to catch up.
1081. [00:26] <KamenWriter> Soon after, the hole he dug begins to fill with lava after him, and it hardens soon after.
1082. [00:26] <KamenWriter> You head back to camp, JUST in time for everyone to head to check out the Mansion, and that's where you came in
1083. [00:27] <KamenWriter> Take... 45 pokemon exp for that encounter.
  1084. [00:28] <Ivan> wooo
1085. [00:28] <KamenWriter> And for befriending Groudon and getting him out of Terrakion's prison you get 3 Trainer Exps.
1086. [00:28] <KamenWriter> This is on top of whatever levels and exp you got for this session.
  1087. [00:31] <KamenWriter> /session
  1088. [00:31] <KamenWriter> Whew
