  9. L50 CONCEPT
  10.  
  11. (1) Start with Cyndaquil; save/reset in lab for 11/10/12/11/12+ (7.25% of Cyndaquils)
  12. (2) Ryziken-ish route thru Dragon's Den w/alterations for Crystal + Battle Tower + Router's opinions
  13. (3) Get Master Ball from Elm & catch Suicune before Kanto; save/reset for good stats (most are runnable)
  14. (4) Level up Suicune on Beth / Rival / Elite 4
  15. (5) Kanto sidequests (Machine Part/EXPN Card) w/Typhlosion for battles (gets L50 here)
  16. (6) Catch L50 Snorlax; save/reset for good stats (most are runnable)
  17. (7) Celadon/Fuchsia for TMs
  18. (8) Second E4 trip for money and to get Suicune to L50
  19. (9) Spend money / prepare team for Battle Tower
  20. (10) Make good decisions and you should sweep all 7 battles more often than not (still some analysis/fine-tuning needed here).

  24. GENERAL ROUTE NOTES
  25.  
  26. - Pretty streamlined: No breeding/egg hatching; slower starter + Suicune sidequest + bit extra in Kanto + extra E4 trip instead
  27. - Selective w/Typhlosion (not too bad since RTA); bad def sucks early and in Battle Tower; no Vitamins usually
  28. - Getting decent Suicune not time-consuming; decent Snorlax a bit trickier (longer catch and bad stats hurt more)
  29. - A little bit of a dance (experience / Amulet Coin) to make sure no one gets to L51, but always works out when done right

  33. GENERAL STRATEGY

  35. L50 Battle Tower has ridiculously strong/fast pokes (great DVs & absurd stat exp); very hard to win reliably with most concepts
  36. - Suicune/Snorlax absorb almost all hits; carry the team; don't need great DVs; handful of Vitamins for adequate stat exp
  37. - Snorlax sets Curse up on non-threats, survives with Rest/Leftovers, murders with Body Slam/Sleep Talk
  38. - Snorlax absorbs special attacks, especially strong Thunderbolts aimed @ Suicune
  39. - Suicune deals with many threats and walls; Toxic/Protect/Rest to stall, Surf to damage some things
  40. - Suicune absorbs Machamp's Cross Chop + strong EQs/Hyper Beams which are huge threats to Snorlax (and Typhlosion)
  41. - Typhlosion handles Steels and can win some 1-on-1's. Also removes Sandstorm. Frail and hard to switch in though.

If it can, that would mean that a modification of the standard Totodile route would be a faster option. Hard to determine if it's viable without testing, though.
