- Battle against U:
  Spam tackle

- Get free potion on route 1
- Get Oak's Parcel
- Get pokédex and balls (5 balls) (1 pokémon)
- Take notes from Old Man
- Grab antidote in Forest
- If you encounter Caterpie or Weedle, catch them (3 balls) (3 pokémon)

- Battle against Bug Catcher Sammy:
  Tail whip once, then spam Tackle and hope he doesn't crit or poison you. (If he does poison use the antidote
after the battle.)

- Battle against Camper Liam:
  All he's got is a geodude and a sandshrew... what do you think you should use?

- Battle against Brock:
  Use bubble, hope he knocks you down to less than 1/3rd health so you get into Torrent.

- Go to mart and sell Rock Tomb and buy 7 Pokéballs (10 balls) 7 potions, 3 antidotes, 2 awakenings,
and 3 repels.

- Get running shoes (YAY!)

- Battle against Bug Catcher Colton:
  Spam bubble against Caterpie then Water Gun against everything else, again hope you get hit into Torrent
(Learn Water Gun over Withdraw [up twice], if you get poisoned by Weedle don't use Antidote until either you're at the
next trainer or you're low on health)

- Search for Spearow (9 balls) (4 pokémon), catch other pokémon if you encounter them as bonuses (Note: I won't

- Use repel upon entering Mt. Moon because Zubats and register TM case and make Squirtle hold Persim Berry

  Hitmonlee: Switch to Zapdos, use Drill Peck
  Hitmonchan: Shock wave, then Drill Peck
  Machamp: Drill Peck
  Steelix: Switch out to Blastoise, Surf

- Change Battle style to Set, switch Blastoise with Zapdos and heal

- Battle against Agatha 2:
  Gengar: Agility, X special then X accuracy twice, use Thunder
  Crobat: Thunder
  Arbok: Thunder
  Gengar: Thunder
  Misdreavus: Thunder

- Heal and give Cheri Berry to Zapdos, switch with CH'DING

- Battle against Lance 2:
  Gyarados: Let CH'DING die, switch to Zapdos and use Agility, X Special at least once (ideally three times),
  then use Shock Wave
  Kingdra: X Accuracy then Thunder (setup here safely if Gyarados uses thunder wave and 1 dragon dance)
  Aerodactyl: Shock Wave
  Dragonite: Thunder
  Dragonite: Thunder

- Use Elixir on Zapdos, switch Zapdos with CH'DING

- Battle with U2:
  Heracross: X Accuracy twice, X Special 4 times, heal (if megahorn), agility (no need to heal afterwards), Thunder
  Alakazam: Thunder
  Tyranitar: Thunder
  Gyarados: Thunder
  Arcanine: Thunder, heal if below 100 hp
  Venasaur: Thunder, revive and drill peck if zapdos faints
