  1. Shadowplay Guide:
  2.
  3. 1: (Skip this step if you already know that you have a NVIDIA GPU GTX600 or newer). Shadowplay supports GTX600 and newer GPUs. To find out which graphics card you actually have follow these steps below.
  4. 1.1: Go to settings > devices > Device Manager. A list will show up with all your connected devices.
  5. 1.2: Click the little arrow next to DISPLAY DRIVERS and your graphics card will show up. If it's a GTX600 or newer, congratulations! You are able to use Shadowplay!
  6.
  7. 2: Now head to http://www.geforce.com/drivers . You can either manually or automatically choose the drivers to use. This will download GeForce Experience where you will find shadowplay.
  8.
  9. 3: Open up GeForce Experience. It will ask you to set up an account before you can proceed. After registration you will find the main 'hub' for your games. However, I would strongly recommend AGAINST using the game optimization for games since it will just bump your graphics setting all the way up as long as your gpu can handle 60fps.
  10.
  11. 4: Click on the little share icon http://i.imgur.com/xQaOPSs.png near the top right corner. An overlay will open up where you will can customise your settings for recordings. You will see the big icon in the middle is called 'Record'. Click on that and hit customize. By default shadowplay uses way more bit rate than we will actually need for youtube vids, thus giving you a much larger upload time. I recommend you to use the following settings:
  12.
  13. Quality: Custom
  14. Resoltuion: 1080p HD (Set to 720p if you have REALLY slow internet)
  15. Framerate: 30/60 (Whatever you prefer, 60 gives you larger files)
  16. Bit rate: 15 Mbps
  17.
  18. This will help you with getting smaller file sizes (which uploads faster) without sacrificing any noticable amount of video quality.
  19.
  20. 5: Hop into a game and press ALT+F9 on your keyboard to start recording, after you are done with your match press ALT+F9 to stop recording.
  21.
  22. 6: Your file is ready to be uploaded to youtube. Congratulations!
