  1. 2:22 - Hynne: Well mostly interested in what you'd think when lineup is full
  2. 2:22 - Arte♀pure: For starters I don't really see what ehome is going of
  3. 2:22 - Arte♀pure: for*
  4. 2:22 - Arte♀pure: That NS seems very out of place
  5. 2:23 - Hynne: Mhmm
  6. 2:25 - Arte♀pure: Secrets lineup is stronger. Lots of anti armor with SF and dazzle and literally entire team is physical damage. Good lane presence, decent carry potential, strong teamfight. Ehome is all over the place. Dont understand what SF is doing there, rubicks magic resistance is almost useless, gyro+dark seer is only good combo, rest are shrug
  7. 2:25 - Hynne: Is SF really that insanely popular right now though?
  8. 2:25 - Hynne: I haven't been following a whole lot
  9. 2:25 - Hynne: Because of EVO and what not
  10. 2:25 - Arte♀pure: No. But secret likes to play him. Rtz is good on the hero and it's a mid hero that has good damage/teamfight early and can also carry.
  11. 2:26 - Arte♀pure: Also doesn't give away any team strats at all
  12. 2:26 - Arte♀pure: So safe to pick up early
  13. 2:27 - Hynne: Mhmm. It still is a risky pick though I take it? You always mention it's easy to gank him after all
  14. 2:30 - Arte♀pure: That's true, yes. Spirit breaker and such are very good against him. But this is also top tier tournament. Meaning that by picking him really early does allow the other team to go for a mid ganking lineup and fuck SF up but this also means you either force the enemy team to counter him leaving lots of options for your other picks or leave a strong hero mid. In the end it's still a very versatile pick and that's what matters. You give away nothing and gain options by picking him. It's not OP or anything, but it's very common for team secret's playstyle. Also most importantly of it all, secret is on radiant side. This is a major point. SF is REALLY good at coming back into the game by razing radiant jungle stacks because they're really close to midlane. You can't do that on dire because they're far and as such SF mid on dire is very rare. But on radiant you even negate the getting fucked on midlane aspect of it because you can always raze jungle and jump back into the game
  15. 2:31 - Arte♀pure: Versatile heroes are always picked first
  16. 2:31 - Hynne: Mhmm it does make a lot of sense like that yes
  17. 2:33 - Arte♀pure: And SF fits into earlygame magic damage fighting role with razes and ult, fits into minus armor strats, fits into carry role, can bounce back with farming, and all in all can adapt to any strat as opposed to locking a strat in and allowing the enemy team to counterpick
  18. 2:33 - Arte♀pure: Very little of this applies to pubs of course
  19. 2:34 - Hynne: Oh I realize
  20. 2:37 - Arte♀pure: http://i.4cdn.org/vg/1438731291595.jpg
  21. 2:37 - Hynne: God this game is heart attacks
  22. 2:39 - Arte♀pure: And although LD has shit knowledge most of the time he IS right about Gyro. Gyro is in a similar boat with SF. Can fight early, can farm stacks, can carry
  23. 2:40 - Hynne: How do you think AM stacks up against their team though?
  24. 2:43 - Arte♀pure: I'd assume secret and ehome has a strat in mind, but not to give it away and get counterpicked they pick the versatile heroes first and see how the enemy drafts so they can either adapt and abandon original strat or stick with it depending how it goes. And AM mmm, AM isn't really somebody they picked to counter enemy team I think. They picked AM for the early carrying potential. AM is shit at 60+ minute carrying, but he farms retarded fast and wins by reaching 6 slot status before enemy carries do. And this sort of works well with their SF dazzle and axe lineup who are also really strong once they get their items 30-40 minutes in and then end the game. They don't really seem to be built for late lategame and splitpushing and turtling. I'd guess they want to farm a bit with occasional fights and then go for the jugular at 30-40 min
  25. 2:43 - Arte♀pure: And for that AM is really really good
  26. 2:44 - Arte♀pure: Granted, AM seems to be having bit of a meh game
  27. 2:44 - Arte♀pure: Compared to how out of control AMs usually get
  28. 2:44 - Hynne: Well granted I'm no Arteezy
  29. 2:45 - Hynne: But I've always found Gyro very hard to fight for example as AM
  30. 2:46 - Arte♀pure: Gyro is better carry than AM that's for sure. Most carried are. But as I said AM is an early fighter. That's why he's a good carry. At around 30 minutes or so when AM has his battlefury manta and basher he can just jump on gyro and wreck him. But once AM gets his 6 slot and can't get any stronger gyro starts to get stronger.
  31. 2:47 - Arte♀pure: Only reason why AM is even a "carry" is because he reaches his unstoppable faster than anybody else and during that timeframe nobody can contest him
  32. 2:47 - Arte♀pure: If he has great farm that is. And this game he doesn't really
  33. 2:47 - Arte♀pure: So he's not doing very good. If AM is going even it means he's losing
  34. 2:48 - Hynne: Mhmm
