  1. Leona’s ears swiveled about, picking up a most curious sound. Her eyes rolled open one at a time, and just the same closed. Furrowing her brow she stretched all out, her paws reaching out in all directions and even her tail stretched out straight into the air. It took her conscious mind a few sleepy moments to register the sounds of pots and pans.
  2.
  3. Her eyes focused unsteadily on the open door, then all at once snapped into line as her nose detected the delectable scents of breakfast. It was about the same time that she realized he was not in bed with her. A rare thing for him to wake before she did. Rarer still for him to cook this early.
  4.
  5. She hauled herself up, tail flicking back and forth to match her thoughts. There was only one possibility. There was only one, but in all their time together he’d never bothered to cook breakfast for her. Just as she began to swing her legs over to get up, a shadow appeared on the wall just outside the doorway.
  6.
  7. In an instant she let herself flop back down onto her pillow face-first, letting her ears provide all the details. Leona heard him walk into the room and stop by her side of the bed. Her heart began to race – he did remember, and even better…
  8.
  9. “Leona, wake up. I brought you something.”
  10.
  11. Being already fully awake, she had to do her best to make it appear as though she’d been freshly woken. Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration on the stretching and grumbling, but then she was never a great actress. And just as her face lifted from the pillow, her nose confirmed what she’d thought and hoped for.
  12.
  13. Rolling over far too quickly, she locked her eyes onto his before letting them drift down to the tray he was carrying. An omelette, packed full of all her favorites, waffles, sausage and a glass of chocolate milk.
  14.
  15. Leona could scarcely believe it. “What, what’s this for?”
  16.
  17. “Breakfast in bed for the birthday girl, of course!”
  18.
  19. For a long while she just stared in disbelief. He shifted slightly.
  20.
  21. “Really?”
  22.
  23. “Yes, really. Now come on, sit up.”
  24.
  25. Leona shuffled upright in a hurry and he set the tray on her lap. In the sort of way one did when greeted with something so unexpected, she had to test to make sure it was all real. She prodded the tray with a paw, looking between it and him. Only when all her senses confirmed that she wasn’t dreaming did she finally allow herself to smile.
  26.
  27. “Thank you,” she said quietly.
  28.
  29. “It’s the least I could do,” he said as he plopped down on the foot of the bed. “But it won’t be the last thing today.”
  30.
  31. Leona looked up at his wry smile, knife and fork in either paw. “What do you mean?”
  32.
  33. “You’ll just have to wait and see.”
  34.
  35. “Thaffs nah fair,” Leona said, wasting no time packing her cheeks full of the delicious meal.
  36.
  37. Sure it may not have been cooked exactly the way she liked it – eggs were a little underdone and the sausage overdone – but that he’d made it for her made it the most delicious thing she’d ever ate.
  38.
  39. “It’s delicious!” She said, pausing only briefly before stuffing her mouth full again.
  40.
  41. Patting her leg with a smile, he simply smiled back. “Glad you like it.”
  42.
  43. Though a fairly large breakfast by anyone’s standards, the ravenous Manticore finished it off in hardly any time at all. She did prefer to eat with a little more tact or dignity, but such special occasions allowed for the disregard of table manners. There was no table, after all.
  44.
  45. Once finished wolfing down her food, he collected the dishes and took them to the kitchen. Through habit Leona darted up in order to clean the dishes, but he gave her a gentle push down on her shoulder.
  46.
  47. “I’ll take care of this. It’d be kinda shitty of me to cook something then make you clean it up. Tell you what though, why don’t you go draw a bath?”
  48.
  49. “A bath?”
  50.
  51. “Yeah.”
  52.
  53. And with that he vanished from the room, leaving Leona to guess at what was going to happen next. Of course, it didn’t’ take her long to figure out what he’d planned. She leapt from bed with all the vigor of an overly excited Manticore – and then promptly regretted it as her bulging stomach roiled from the sudden movement. Free from any onlookers, him especially, Leona let out a decidedly un-ladylike belch.
  54.
  55. With her stomach slightly less bloated, she made her best speed towards the bathroom – albeit slightly hunched over.
  56.
  57. She began the water and filled the tub with her favorite scented salts. Even eyed her collection of water-proof toys, but thought better of it. Her mind was preoccupied with others things. For once. Besides, she was pretty sure that’s not the sort of thing he had planned for her.
  58.
  59. Just as the tub was about filled, he appeared. He ushered her into the tub, pausing only to remove her collar.
  60.
  61. “Do you have to?”
  62.
  63. “You always ask that and the answer is always the same. Can’t get leather wet; it’ll ruin it.”
  64.
  65. She scowled, but acquiesced. The feeling of release when the collar was removed always unsettled Leona. It didn’t matter how many, or how few, clothes she had on – without her collar she felt naked. It made her unsure of herself and of the future.
  66.
  67. Fortunately the hot water and scents eased her worries some, and again as he slid into the water behind her. By the time his hands began to rub and massage her shoulders the world outside the bathroom may as well have ceased to exist. Her muscles went limp and she slumped forward, letting his hands work down her back as well.
  68.
  69. Her lovebulb hung just outside the tub, occasionally thumping against the side when his thumbs worked into a particularly sensitive spot on her back. Other times her wings would flutter, splashing water everywhere. And every time she’d look back apologetically, only to see his kind expression.
  70.
  71. But as he began to wash her hair and knead her delicate ears, tendrils of dark thoughts began to creep up. Sure it was her birthday, but he was being too nice. She half expected to be woken up with his dick in her ass along with the excuse it’s the best treat she could have. It was such a pleasant, happy surprise when she woke up to breakfast in bed. The massage she was getting made her feel as if all her cares had melted away.
  72.
  73. But it was all so strange. He’d never been that nice to her before, not even after she had to punish him for this or that. Looking over her shoulder at his face, he seemed to earnest. She hated to be suspicious, especially when it felt so good. It was just her old self getting in the way, she told herself. Life was good now. Life was happy.
  74.
  75. Her tail thumped again when she reminded herself that he loved her. She was special to someone. And here he was, showing her just how much she meant to him. In a way, right now, she wanted to convey how much he meant to her.
  76.
  77. “Oh? Thinking about something dirty?”
  78.
  79. Leona’s head snapped around. “W-what?”
  80.
  81. He indicated to her tail; she’d left a small pool of taillube on the floor just outside the tub. And, upon taking it in hand and getting a closer look, the tip had bloomed significantly.
  82.
  83. “Someone’s ready to go…”
  84.
  85. “I can’t help it… thinking about you,” Leona protested. “In fact…”
  86.
  87. She whirled around in place – not an easy feat in a tub, but she managed with her cat-like grace. “I could eat again…”
  88.
  89. The thoughts of before fell away, pushed aside by her primal urges. Licking her lips, she struck with her tail to collect her second breakfast. Until her skin turned all pruny she feasted, sucking out her fill.
  90.
  91. --
  92.
  93. “Thanks for everything,” Leona said as they were getting dressed and he helped put her collar back on. “It means a lot to me, you know…”
  94.
  95. “Oh, it’s no problem,” he said, standing on slightly shaky legs. “But the day isn’t over yet. In fact, it’s just begun.”
  96.
  97. Leona stopped, frozen in place. “What do you mean?”
  98.
  99. “You’ll see…”
  100.
  101. It didn’t take long for her to discover what he was talking about. Just minutes later he’d suggested they go somewhere, but wouldn’t say where. However, the strangest part was that he didn’t ask her to wear a leash or a blindfold or have a vibrating, inflatable buttplug. Just the two of them, walking.
  102.
  103. “Where are we going?” Leona asked, constantly glancing at her paw.
  104.
  105. He’d taken up her paw, interlocking his fingers with her furry digits. And they walked like that, side-by-side. It was so perfectly… normal, Leona couldn’t help but blush. If the wind blew her skirt, people saw panties instead of her bare crotch or ass. People were seeing her panties!
  106.
  107. That got her all worked up and her eyes darted nervously whenever a gust blew. She even tried to hold her skirt in place sometimes. She was so terribly worried and happy and she didn’t know what to think.
  108.
  109. Whenever her eyes met his, she couldn’t help but smile – and neither could he. It was like all the dreams of her youth were coming true. Walking with the man she loved, holding hands, and just being… happy. Leona’s heart sang.
  110.
  111. The sun on her skin felt warmer - even the shade from her sunhat on her face felt brighter. Her ears wiggled about and her tail swished enthusiastically with every step.
  112.
  113. “We’ve been walking for over an hour now. Where are we going?”
  114.
  115. Leona wasn’t much in a rush, but she was confused about what was going on. They’d long passed all the usual spots they went when they walked.
  116.
  117. “Do we need to go somewhere?” He asked, to which she could only cock her head. “I mean, I just like walking with you, holding your paw.” Then, as if testing her reaction, he finally admitted his plan. “Besides, we’re almost there.”
  118.
  119. “There?”
  120.
  121. “There,” he repeated, pointing with his eyes.
  122.
  123. Leona followed where he was looking, her eyes falling on a sign in the distance. “The park?”
  124.
  125. “Sure. Been years since I’ve been inside, but if I’m right there should be something there that’s neat.”
  126.
  127. The Manticore’s tail flicked. “Why didn’t we drive here?”
  128.
  129. “This is more fun.”
  130.
  131. Before she could question him further he ran ahead with a sort of boyish energy. The sort of energy never would have dared to dream he was capable of. Her mind turned to how he once was. Sure he gave her a home and claimed her loved her, she always doubted. Always always always. Especially when he started to get more extreme. She didn’t like it at first, but it was what he liked, so she liked it. But then it got out of hand. She got scared.
  132.
  133. But that all changed that one day. Somehow, despite what she’d done, he didn’t run off. In fact, he began to do as she wanted for once. It was fun, but always she worried he might be scared of her. Lately though he’d been… warmer. And today, today was a complete surprise. He was like a different person.
  134.
  135. In the span of that moment everything felt wrong. It was all she could do to staunch the flow of doubt and force herself to chase after him. She couldn’t let him slip away.
  136.
  137. --
  138.
  139. “What’re you so close for?”
  140.
  141. Leona’s first response was to tighten the hold of her tail around his waist. “I just like being near you.”
  142.
  143. He just laughed and pat her head, flicking her ears between his fingers. “You’re such a sweet girl, you know that?”
  144.
  145. Outwardly she giggled girlishly, but inwardly something about how he said that worried her. In fact, as they strolled through the park, nearly everything he said built on that worry.
  146.
  147. “Here, let me cover your eyes,” he said when they approached a clearing.
  148.
  149. “What for?” Leona said with marked worry.
  150.
  151. “I just want to show you something.”
  152.
  153. Leona fidgeted. “Fine…”
  154.
  155. “Getting all anxious over me blindfolding you? Today has been something else, hasn’t it?”
  156.
  157. Her ears honed in straight on his voice. There was definitely something there in his tone. It was unmistakable. She kept quiet as he guided her along, kept quiet as he told her where to step to avoid something, kept quiet as he said this or that.
  158.
  159. “Here we go. Just as I remember…”
  160.
  161. Before she could ask what he was talking about, he took the blindfold off her.
  162.
  163. Stretched out below them for what seemed like miles were grasses and wildflowers of all sorts. They’d come to the top of a hill, flanked by trees on either side. A rainbow of collar unfolded in front of her, and for the first time she smelled the incredible floral bouquet in the air. She’d been so preoccupied she’d never noticed.
  164.
  165. Leona opened her mouth, but she was left speechless. Never ever, ever ever would she have imagined someone – him of all people – would want to show her something so…
  166.
  167. “Here, stand here for a second,” he said, positioning her back to the expanse.
  168.
  169. He took a few steps back, cupping his chin in his hand. A few nods, then a grin. “Just as I thought. Two things wild and free really go together.”
  170.
  171. She finally found her voice. “Wild and free?”
  172.
  173. “It’s untended land,” he said, motioning to the expanse of flowers. “Just so happened nature made it like that.”
  174.
  175. Then something else nagging on her mind came to the forefront. She looked behind her, then back at him. “Free?” She asked, tilting her head.
  176.
  177. The response she was expecting never came. He didn’t laugh or smile or make a joke. Just the corners of his lips pulled taut. Wordlessly he walked forward and removed her collar. It was the same as he’d always done before she bathed or showered. This time was different. So much different. Her eyes pleaded with him for an answer to the question her throat couldn’t voice.
  178.
  179. “Yeah, free. I’ve… done so many horrible things to you. I’m setting you free.”
  180.
  181. She shook her head side to side. Slowly at first, then so hard and fast her ears whipped back and forth.
  182.
  183. “No, no, no! No, what do you mean?!”
  184.
  185. Her voice was cracked and shot through with fear and worry and everything that’d been nibbling at her thoughts.
  186.
  187. “I can’t ever make up for what I’ve done,” he said with a sigh, turning his back to her. “I figured a new year in your life, a new page. The best time to let you go. Let you find some true happiness.”
  188.
  189. Tears began to run down her cheeks. First in little streams, then a gushing torrent.
  190.
  191. “No! Not now! I love you!”
  192.
  193. Leona’s paw reached up her naked neck, searching for her token of comfort.
  194.
  195. “I don’t, I’m sorry! Please, punish me, don’t leave me!”
  196.
  197. At that word – punish – he hung his head. “That’s what I mean. Look what I’ve done to you. Punish you?”
  198.
  199. His arm wiped across his face. “What’s wrong with me?” He said in anger, clenching a fist.
  200.
  201. With a deep breath he steadied himself. “You deserve someone better.”
  202.
  203. Step by step be began to walk away from Leona.
  204.
  205. The Manticore was paralyzed. Was everything until now a lie? She slumped to her knees in the tall grass, repeating “Don’t leave me,” over and over.
  206.
  207. All the dark thoughts raged in her mind. Everything she always believed about herself came back. She fell on her back and stared up at the blue sky. Dumped on her birthday by the one person who ever cared for her. She wanted to race after him but her thoughts wouldn’t let her.
  208.
  209. “This is all my fault, isn’t it?”
  210.
  211. The clouds wouldn’t answer her. It was all so sudden. So funny. So sad. So happy. He wasn’t good enough for her? Like hell. More like he was tired of her. Bored of her. She was a defect, a throw away toy. She was stupid, she was ugly. She laughed and cried, covering her face with her paws. Who would ever want her?
  212.
  213. She cried and cried, howling her sorrow atop the hill.
  214.
  215. But as she cried, a stray, errant thought wormed through the black morass in her mind.
  216.
  217. What if he felt about himself the way she did about herself?
  218.
  219. That thought then spawned something else. What if he really was guilty, really did care about her. Why else would he have been so nice to her?
  220.
  221. She shot up, staring at where he’d gone. A ray of light pierced through her clouded thoughts. It was all so simple. That had to be it. That’s all she needed to do. She loved him, he loved her. She knew it, thoughts be damned.
  222.
  223. But then, if he felt as she did. What would he do?
  224.
  225. Taking wing, she only hoped it wasn’t too late.
  226.
  227. --
  228.
  229. Leona knew that speed was on her side, even if time was not. Since they’d walked to the hill together, it’d take some time for him to walk all the way back home. For her plan to work she had to fly to a small shop some distance away. There was that inherit risk that it’d take too long and he’d really make up his mind, but for the time she had to stuff away her doubts and focus on flying as fast as she could manage.
  230.
  231. Below her rows of trees streaked past as she skimmed just above their reach. Soon the trees vanished, leaving only grass until that too gave way to asphalt and buildings. The massive slabs of concrete and and brick created multitudes of updrafts that Leona, despite not having flown so freely in quite some time, managed to utilize to further her blitz towards her destination.
  232.
  233. The exhilaration of flight was something she’d almost forgotten – sure she’d flap around here and there but it’d been such a long time since she soared with such purpose. Her heart raced, partly from exertion, somewhat from the pressure of time, and of her destination.
  234.
  235. Signs and familiar places guided her onward, and far faster than anyone could hope to arrive by foot or vehicle Leona dropped down heavily in front of the store. It wasn’t until she finally rested that she realized just how tired she’d become, and it wasn’t until she finally stopped moving that sweat gathered on her brow.
  236.
  237. As much as she was loathe to go in anywhere huffing and puffing and sweating as much as she was, there was little choice. At least at a shop like that they’d understand a little. So she hoped, anyways.
  238.
  239. Inside she made quickly for the items of her interest. It’d been over a month since she was last here, but fortunately they still had what she sought. While she’d liked to have their names embroidered, they’d have to do as is. Besides, they could be personalized later.
  240.
  241. “I’ll take these, please,” Leona said, her breath still ragged.
  242.
  243. When confronted with a sweating, panting, and determined manticore, one did not ask questions. Especially when they growled in that low, deep growl and stared with those vermillion eyes.
  244.
  245. “S-sure thing,” the cashier managed to say as Leona’s impatience made clear her paying was optional at this point. “Cash or credit?”
  246.
  247. Much to the cashier’s surprise Leona hiked up her dress and removed a little clip-on pouch from her underwear. Inside was a small amount of money and a card, which Leona promptly slapped into the worried man’s hand.
  248.
  249. He got her wordless hint and quickly swiped her card, stuffed her purchase into a bag, and handed them to her. Snatching up her prize in paw, Leona bolted from the store. A small measure of relief washed over the cashier as the sweaty, strangely-white manticore left the store. Then he noticed he’d forgotten to give her the receipt. Somehow, he figured she didn’t much care about it.
  250.
  251. No sooner than the door flew open did Leona cinch the bag tightly in her paw and launch herself into the air with a mighty flap from her wings. The short reprieve in the store was all the rest she needed to continue her frantic pace.
  252.
  253. Flying very nearly in the direction she’d come, she aimed herself somewhere between the park and her house. Though she’d no way to tell the time, she figured it hadn’t been too long. He couldn’t have gotten too far. Besides, she had her keen sense of smell, and she knew his scent so very well. Somewhere, deep in her mind, instincts she’d forgotten she even had were roused. The hunt was on, and she’d surely find her mark.
  254.
  255. Instinct told her when she’d gone far enough, when to slow down and search. She didn’t think it much, but just listened. Here and there she’d land and look around. Hear around. Sniff around. Closer and closer she got, his scent growing stronger and stronger.
  256.
  257. Then she saw him, wandering down a neighborhood sidewalk. Her beating heart nearly stopped. Suddenly her feral instincts vanished, pressed back deep down by the weight of doubt and nervousness. Her plan had to work, it just had to.
  258.
  259. The longer she watched him, the more a certain feeling welled within her. One that gave her the strength she needed for the final push.
  260.
  261. Taking to the sky once more, she sprinted through the air and dropped in front of him. He blinked.
  262.
  263. “Leona, what’re you doing here? I, you don’t have to follow me anymore,” he said, first surprised then trailed off into quiet.
  264.
  265. “You selfish asshole!”
  266.
  267. Words her didn’t expect to her. Words she didn’t expect to say. They just sort of tumbled out, but they felt quite right.
  268.
  269. “What? I’m saying you don’t have to deal with me! How is that selfish?”
  270.
  271. Leona twitched. “What gives you the right to say that! That you’re letting me ‘free?’ Don’t I get a say in anything?!”
  272.
  273. “Isn’t that what you wanted? Someone better than me?”
  274.
  275. “No! What – who I want is you!”
  276.
  277. The bag swung in her paw as her arms waved about, drawing his eyes for a moment.
  278.
  279. “But I just used you for so long,” he said weakly, looking down to the ground.
  280.
  281. “And I’m still here, aren’t I?”
  282.
  283. That was quite evident. A simple truth he couldn’t look away from. Maybe it was just guilt and selfishness that tried to drive her away. He sighed.
  284.
  285. “Yeah, I guess you are. But I don’t understand, why?”
  286.
  287. “Because I love you,” Leona said through a sigh, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world and he was the only one who couldn’t see that. “Yes there were some… things, but we put a stop to that.”
  288.
  289. He opened his mouth to speak, but quickly closed it as no words would come to mind.
  290.
  291. “Answer me this,” Leona said sternly. “Do you love me?”
  292.
  293. Something he had to answer. He could lie, and the outcome of that would be obvious. But as he thought, he knew second chances didn’t come easy. He’d have to be a fool to believe there’d be a third chance somewhere down the line if he fucked this one up. A few words he’d said so many times before, but now he wondered how much meaning had been in them.
  294.
  295. “Yes, Leona, I love you. I don’t think I really realized that for a long time.” It took some effort on his part, but he looked into her eyes as he spoke. It was the least he could do, considering what he’d tried to pull.
  296.
  297. Leona stood there, a short distance away. She thought quietly, then finally opened the bag and pulled out the two items within.
  298.
  299. “Then, will you wear this with me?”
  300.
  301. In each paw she held a collar, a twin of the other. Black leather with silver clasp, each had half of a heart embroidered on it. When brought together, the heart was made complete.
  302.
  303. This was the true test. Leona held her breath and waited, watching his reaction. For Manticores and other species with large paws, rings were rather rare. They often sought other means, other symbols of their bonds with someone. Though the occasion was devoid of ceremony, it didn’t matter, not to Leona.
  304.
  305. “You’re serious about this, aren’t you?”
  306.
  307. “I am. Will you be with me?”
  308.
  309. He laughed once, then sighed. Leona’s heart practically leapt into her throat.
  310.
  311. “I have a lot of things to say, questions,” he trailed off. A thin smile then appeared, and so very quickly spread to his eyes. “Yes, I do.” He reached forward and took one of the collars from her paw and carefully secured it around his neck.
  312.
  313. All the weight and gravity of her doubts and concerns and anxieties fell off at once. She fumbled madly to wear her new collar and then like a spring that’d been compressed as far as possible and suddenly let loose, Leona shot forward and wrapped her paws around him in a great big bear hug. She kissed him all over, pausing only to laugh and even cry. A few errant tears worked their way free, only to be swept from her cheek by his hand.
  314.
  315. “I’m so happy, so happy,” she repeated in a whisper, finally lifting him off his feet in one last mighty hug.
  316.
  317. “Urf, that’s enough Leona,” he said playfully, squirming within her grasp.
  318.
  319. “Ah, sorry.”
  320.
  321. She set him down, then took a step back. “Sorry, just got… I’m, ah,” she stuttered, again breaking into tears with paws crossed in front of her.
  322.
  323. He took one of her paws into his hand and laid another on top. “I’m… Well, I’m not good with words,” he began. “So how about we celebrate by going back home? I guess I’ll have to find you another present…”
  324.
  325. Riding high on her emotions, she almost missed his intentions. Almost. Her tail began to swish side to side. “At home? I wonder what it could be?” A mischievous smirk crept across her lips.
  326.
  327. “Well, let’s see what I can find,” he said, leading the way with her paw still in his hand.
  328.
  329. --
  330.
  331. Leona’s ass was hiked into the air and her face buried in a pillow. With every thrust she moaned and her paws gripped the sheets a little bit tighter.
  332.
  333. Her ass, bright red from the spanking she’d received, jiggled every time he buried completely within her pussy with a satisfying crack of flesh.
  334.
  335. “Fuck me harder!” She commanded, rolling her head to a side and letting her tongue hang out. “Make me yours! Fuck me fill of kittens!”
  336.
  337. Lifting her slender frame up for better leverage, he thrust forward into her at the same time his hands pulled her back. He grunted from the strain, from the pleasure of her hot folds. Each and every stroke strained his ability to hold on, to relish her flesh as best as he could. Her snatch coiled around him, tugging and pulling and so reluctant to let him pull out but then was so slippery and inviting when he thrust in.
  338.
  339. The manticore’s tail flailed wildly until it found purchase on the bedpost, sucking dearly on that.
  340.
  341. Finally he could no longer hold on and in one brutal thrust that nearly folded her in half he staged forward and collapsed onto her back as load after load pumped into her greedy womb. He groaned in pleasure with every thick, virile rope.
  342.
  343. But she wanted more.
  344.
  345. Spent, he tried to pull out. Her tail encircling his waist halted him. Then he felt a little prick on his skin and fire spread through his body and loins.
  346.
  347. “I haven’t had nearly enough,” she said through heavy breaths, grinning maniacally.
  348.
  349. “Fine, you want it rough?” He said, breathing sharply through his nose.
  350.
  351. Before she could respond he flipped her over, then pushed her legs up and over so her feet were behind her head. All she did was yelp in surprise before a look of pure anticipation and a fresh helping of her desire streamed out of her cunt.
  352.
  353. Fueled by her venom he began to slam down hard into her, driving her whole body into the bed. He could look down at himself spearing her and watch her cunt cling to his shaft and the way her whole body shivered with every wet slap.
  354.
  355. Leona bit her lip, but it did nothing to stifle her happy gasps and moans. Soon she gave up trying to contain it and howled her pleasure as she was savagely fucked.
  356.
  357. Load after venom-infused load blasted into her, at one point swelling her stomach ever so slightly. It was only after several long hours was she satisfied, glowing in the aftermath of multitudes of orgasms.
  358.
  359. “You’re something else,” he said as if in disbelief.
  360.
  361. She giggled and stretched out, then laid her head on his lap. Running his fingers through her hair and across her ears, he paused to tug at his collar.
  362.
  363. “Still feels kind of weird, but I think I can get used to it,” he said appraisingly.
  364.
  365. The manticore rolled over onto her back to stare up at him. His eyes wandered down from her face to her bare breasts and stomach, then to her snatch, still drooling out his seed. Her tail caught his attention for a moment, along with the fact that it was now missing nearly all its spines.
  366.
  367. “You will,” she said pawing at his arm. “And soon it’ll be the best feeling to know it’s there!”
  368.
  369. “Is that so?”
  370.
  371. He simply received a grin from her, complete with two fangs poking from her lip. A moment later her paw reached out to brush his cheek. “You’re mine now, just as much as I’m yours, Master~”
  372.
  373. That was something he’d been thinking about. Before she’d just been his, and that was that. Then things had changed. He’d gone too far and she’d had enough. It’d never be the same as it was, not that he wanted it that way. She was a toy, now she was his lover, his partner, despite her words.
  374.
  375. “I don’t think I’d have it any other way.”
  376.
  377. “I’m glad,” she said idly. “And I’m sure our children will feel the same way.”
  378.
  379. Some delays, though they only might last a second or two, can feel like an eternity. This was one such pause. She prodded him to see if he was still alive. His eyes finally focused and he looked down at her. “Children?”
  380.
  381. “You fucked me raw and came so much in me,” she said, pointing at her semen-oozing pussy. “I’m pretty sure you got me good and knocked up with a litter.”
  382.
  383. “Ha ha, I see…”
  384.
  385. “Yup!”
  386.
  387. He had no idea if she was telling the truth or not. Regardless her words were more than a little worrying – to him, anyways. Leona simply curled up, holding her paws slack about her chest.
  388.
  389. “Nyaa~”
  390.
  391. By force of habit he began to rub her tummy, and nearly instantly she began to purr in that deep, rumbling purr of hers. When he realized what he was doing, he couldn’t help but laugh to himself. Despite everything that’d happened since they met, Leona was still Leona.
  392.
  393. And maybe some kids would give her a bit more of a figure, he thought.
