(1:07:45 PM) Claire: Dressed in a chic blue pullover half-sleeved top and short black skirt, she swallows slightly at the name--being a native, she's heard of the chain--but powers on anyway, entering and looking around.
(1:09:41 PM) ***Altea is standing in the front, wearing a white tank top and short gym shorts, with black cat ears and a black tail swishing behind her. "Hi Claire! Welcome to Kitties!"
(1:10:59 PM) Claire: She nods. "Thanks, Al--TEA?!" The silver-haired girl's double-take nearly sends her sprawling, tripping over her own two feet, but she gets her balance back. Barely.

(1:12:09 PM) ***Claire rubs her eyes and squints. The view hasn't changed. "...Uh. Yeah. What're..." She cuts herself off. "Well, okay, what you're doing here is kind of obvious, but...uh, why?"

One of them, smacking an armoured fist into the glass or the large windows, cracking it. "Alright, where is the crazy cat who put my friend in the hospital? I got buisness with her!" The other one facepalms behind him.

(1:28:47 PM) Altea: "Oh, your friend was the guy from the other day? He was a jerk, tell him if he wants to enjoy our famous Kitties hot wings and drink specials, he's gonna have to apologize."

(1:37:51 PM) ***Claire winces at the audible CLANGGGG even this far inside the restaurant. Still, it wasn't like it wasn't deserved...
(1:38:27 PM) Ikiryo: He raises a hand to his head as he lays down cover fire from pulse lasers from his gauntlet. "This is...oh saint...this is Private First Class Josh Prior...we are under attack. Requesting emergency support from Damocles 5."
(1:41:44 PM) Claire: The name pings in Claire's memory, and she scrambles to establish contact with Rhiannon again. [To: Rhiannon - Hey Rhi. Remember those secret projects you mentioned? They're not so secret.] Included in the short burst is a clip of the last forty-five seconds or so.
(1:41:57 PM) Ikiryo: He staggers back, as there is the sound of something breaking the sound barrier...and a large rippling shape appears in the air above the street outside...
(1:42:46 PM) ***Claire steps out of the booth again, her training staff expanding to full storage device mode.
(1:42:57 PM) Ikiryo: [From - Rhiannon: It's what...now...OH SON OF A!] There is the sound of incoherant screaming and swearing from Rhiannon.
(1:45:02 PM) Ikiryo: The shimmer vanishes, revealing a grey fighter jet with the Caledfwlch Techniques symbol emblazoned on the side. It's hovering very well and clearly lining up a shot.
(1:50:52 PM) ***Claire swears loudly and shouts. "Altea, get people out of the way!" She unleashes an enormous shot, hoping to knock the jet away and disrupt its firing lines...
(1:52:35 PM) Ikiryo: It turns with incredible agility and the shot grazes it. The two cannons pulse out with lasers at the pair.
(1:55:18 PM) Ikiryo: Claire is a bit distracted by the furiously swearing Rhiannon in her ear. She's got quite the vocab.
(1:55:36 PM) ***Altea barely feels the hit.
(1:55:40 PM) Claire: One of the lasers impacts Claire, but a hastily-erected Round Shield and some fancy footwork leave her none the worse for wear.
(1:56:39 PM) Altea: "Rrgh." [Boss, we have a situation out front. Can you put up the blast curtains?] "STUPID ROBOT."
(1:57:18 PM) Ikiryo: [Right]. Metal slides down in front of the windows, blocking them off.
(1:58:17 PM) ***Altea lands a hit on the fighter, but doesn't do any critical damage.

(2:05:43 PM) ***Claire fires again, another massive blast through the door intending on diverting the ship's aim, so she almost doesn't hear Rhiannon's message--but almost at the last second, she flips the mental switch that allows it. [Alright, you're live.]
(2:07:28 PM) Ikiryo: The fighter keeps strafing them the whole time, firing pulse are pulse at them...
(2:09:39 PM) Claire: Trying to weave between shots isn't working so well with Claire stuck to the ground, and the pulses are gradually wearing away at her magical defense.
(2:10:37 PM) ***Altea grits her teeth at the hit, and gives one back!
(2:13:23 PM) Altea: <AVISO! AVISO! ROSTRO DEL GIGANTE-MANOS DE LOS GIGANTES. VAMOS A TIERRA IMPATO>
(2:13:37 PM) Ikiryo: Rhiannon's voice blasts out as this is going on. "This is Rhiannon Howell, what the SAINT KING ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING! STAND DOWN NOW OR I WILL HAVE YOU REASSIGNED TO CRASH TEST DUMMIES!"
(2:21:34 PM) ***Altea lands a punch on the plating with a loud CRUNCH as the force of the strike, many times that of what a human should be able to do, passes through its shell and cracks its servos.
(2:22:26 PM) Ikiryo: The fighter jolts back, an unhealthy sounding whirring and whining coming from one of the wings...as it lands, shifting into a large robot with a rifle. The front of it pops open and a chocolate-skinned girl in a jumpsuit and helmet jumps out. "...umm...what the saint king is going on here?" She looks about thier own age.
(2:24:46 PM) ***Claire settles down almost instantly now that it seems the danger has passed...though she allows her barrier jacket to dissolve away, she keeps the staff out. "We could ask you the same thing. If Rhi's done yelling."
(2:25:37 PM) Altea: "My boss is probably gonna ban everyone from Cafeldwch Tech is what's going on. Except Rhi, Rhi is cool."
(2:25:47 PM) ***Altea tailswish.
(2:26:17 PM) Ikiryo: "NO I'M NOT DONE YELLING!" Rhiannon's voice is still very loud. "WHO ARE YOU, YOU DENSE SON OF A..." There is the sound of an audible breath being taken.

(2:27:04 PM) Claire: "Okay, just checking things were okay."

(2:28:50 PM) Ikiryo: The girl bites her lip "...I'm Prototype Pilot Nasira bin Saladin Sajadi." She takes off her helmet, long black hair flowing down her back. "...and I get the feeling there might have been a mistake here..."
(2:29:24 PM) Altea: "Probably. This is the second time some jerks from your company came to start fights here, and now this time when I toss him out, he calls in a giant cool awesome robot!"
(2:29:43 PM) ***Claire giggles slightly at Altea's choice of words.
(2:30:27 PM) Ikiryo: "...they did what now?" The two troopers have vanished in the confusion. "...I was called due to troopers under attack..."
(2:30:32 PM) Claire: "She's right, though. Two troopers came in, one of whom was looking for a fight. Altea threw him out when he got unreasonable and his partner panicked and called. Probably for you."
(2:31:10 PM) Claire: "The one requesting backup was Josh Prior."
(2:31:13 PM) Altea: "Yeah, and earlier this week one of your guys was picking on a waiter and calling him some kind of sympathetic, so I threw him out too."
(2:31:24 PM) Altea: "And he hit that lightpost and probably ended up in the hospita."

(2:37:19 PM) Ikiryo: "Right, that makes sense. Mages." There is a hint of bitterness in her voice. "It's a prototype for...well, you are not Authorized to know it's title."

(2:37:37 PM) Altea: "Well he yelled that it's Damocles, so."
(2:38:11 PM) Ikiryo: "...really?" And back into her hands goes her face. "...does no one understand what the point of secrecy is?"
(2:41:05 PM) Claire: "People panic. Especially when their overly aggressive buddies get flattened in one hit by a girl in a holographic cat tail and ears."
(2:41:58 PM) Ikiryo: "...I noticed that part. The ears and tail I mean." She's dragged up a AR display. "...and then manage to damage armour plating that was initially designed for battleships."
(2:42:17 PM) ***Claire shrugs. "She comes from a high-gravity homeworld?"
(2:42:43 PM) Altea: "I have giant blood!"
(2:42:49 PM) ***Altea flexes and tail-swishes.

(2:43:10 PM) ***Claire pats Altea on the head. And it transitions almost unconsciously into scratching the ears.

(2:45:07 PM) Ikiryo: "...just...the paperwork and...I'm so getting demoted for this."
(2:45:29 PM) Altea: "Hey, it's not your fault those guys are idiots. Look, I'll talk to my boss and you can come to Kitties too, okay?"

(2:51:04 PM) Altea: "Nope! I can get you guys coupons or something though."

(2:53:14 PM) Altea: "Yeah. I think the only stuff that got broke was the window from the guy earlier, and I broke the door right after by hitting him, so it probably evens out."

(2:55:40 PM) Ikiryo: "Wait, arn't you the people who beat up those rogue drones a couple of months back?" She raises an eyebrow.
(2:55:57 PM) Altea: "Yep! I punched those robots good too."
(2:56:05 PM) Claire: "Ehehehe." She puts a hand behind her head. "Yeah..."
(2:57:07 PM) Ikiryo: "Right, it's due to you guys...or at least, those drones...that and the terrorist attack that we are here at all. Section Thirty One called on us and then I got dragged out to field test my Djinni."
(2:58:28 PM) Claire: "I take it it was testing well before this happened?" She lets her device collapse back to storage mode.
(2:59:13 PM) Ikiryo: "Yeah. Since mid-last year." She gives a wry smile "And I was the only pilot so far not to get it damaged in testing...well, until now."
(2:59:52 PM) ***Claire winces again. "Well...congratulations on still having the longest record?"
(3:01:30 PM) Ikiryo: "Yeah, thanks." She sighs. "I guess I better call for someone to bring a truck for her. Not safe to fly with damaged servos. Sorry about this again."
(3:01:47 PM) Altea: "No problem. Come back any time!"
(3:02:05 PM) ***Altea tailswish. "So should we go back inside?"
(3:03:03 PM) Claire: "And sorry for...well..." She gestures vaguely in the direction of the mech. "But look me up if you need anything okay?" To Altea, she says, "...Yeah, probably, though I should probably report this to the Lieutenant, too. Pretty sure she'll know I brought my device out of storage mode."
(3:03:44 PM) Altea: "Probably. I still have a few hours on my shift, so do you want to wait and we tell her together?"
(3:04:03 PM) Altea: <Ok boss, no more threat.>
(3:04:17 PM) Ikiryo: The metal plates roll back up again.
(3:04:46 PM) Claire: "Maybe we can do it after I order inside."
(3:04:56 PM) Altea: "Okay!"
(3:05:00 PM) ***Altea leads the way back into the restaurant.
(3:05:16 PM) ***Claire resumes her seat from before.
(3:05:32 PM) Ikiryo: Nasira stays out with her golem.
(3:05:37 PM) Altea: "So what can I get for you?"
(3:08:12 PM) ***Claire snaps her gaze away from staring at Nasira. "...Right. How about..." She picks out one of the sandwiches that'd caught her eye earlier.
(3:09:09 PM) Altea: "Okay! Anything to drink?"
(3:09:31 PM) Claire: "Water's fine for me, thanks Altea."
(3:09:50 PM) Altea: "Okay, be right back!" She goes back to the kitchen.
(3:10:38 PM) ***Claire jogs to the door and leans outside. "Nasira! You hungry?"
(3:11:03 PM) Ikiryo: She looks up from a display she was examining. "Huh? Umm...I guess?"
(3:11:24 PM) Claire: "Lunch on me? Tiny apology?"
(3:11:54 PM) Ikiryo: She sighs "Yeah, sure. I'm pretty sure I attacked you though."
(3:15:19 PM) Claire: She waves away the protest. "Pick whatever, it's all good. Then com me and I'll tell Altea, kay?"
(3:17:25 PM) Ikiryo: "Right. I dunno, I'm here, I might as well grab the wings and a glass of something strong. I'm not flying again today and I've got a servo that's more scrap than prototype to deal with."
(3:19:07 PM) Claire: "Some sort of wings is better than none?" She tries the lame joke, then slinks inside at the awful humor.
(3:19:34 PM) Ikiryo: She can feel the glower follow her in.
