  1. COSTUMES
  2.
  3. Any good Magical Girl wouldn’t be anything without TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCES and COSTUMES. The first one is flavor but the second is actually relevant to your dice rolls. COSTUMES act as basic modifiers, giving you buffs or debuffs to the standard 2d20 roll as a Green Lantern.
  4.
  5. The standard 2d20 roll goes as this:
  6.
  7. 1d20 for WILL: Will being the focus of your power. If you roll high on SHAPING, you’ll make a very accurate construct down to the molecule, but low rolls on WILL render it completely harmless, even incorporeal rather than hard light.
  8.
  9. 1d20 for SHAPING: Shaping is your imagination. Rolling high on WILL will create an incredibly solid and incredibly powerful construct, but low rolls on SHAPING will at best create inaccuracies and at worse create an amorphous blob.
  10.
  11. Critically failing either will generally not result in a complete loss, but half the fun in being Lumi is failing miserably.
  12.
  13.
  14. But if you do not want to fail constantly, then you have various COSTUMES. These will provide modifiers to your dice rolls based on their fashion and appearance and where they came from.
  15.
  16. There are also a few secret Costumes as well, which can be unlocked through the narrative like the rest.
  17.
  18. CURRENT UNLOCKED COSTUMES:
  19.
  20. MAGICAL HERO – “Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power, Green Lantern’s Light!”
  21.
  22. + 10 to creative constructs and constructs involving fictional characters of the time.
  23. DETERMINATION: Critical failures now have a 50-50 chance of being reversed into a critical success. (i.e., I’ll roll a 1d2). Only applies when wearing the Magical Hero costume.
  24.
  25. LA MOUSQUETAIRE DU VERTE – “All for one, and one for all!”
  26.
  27. + 5 to combat rolls involving swords and 17th century weaponry and arms.
  28.
