  1. Humming a cheerful melody, the Djinn walked up a path of sand through the thick forest. "I finally managed to pay all the debts from that store down the city! They even let me buy some ingredients!" Said the Djinn out loud while looking down at some bags he carried with both hands. Not so long ago, his girlfriend Beth kindly took him to an exchanging place, where he was able to exchange some of his old, "shiny rocks" currency for this era's currency. He still had it hard understanding how green paper was meant for currency nowadays, more when Beth and people in some bank looked at his rocks with wide eyes. These "precious gems" as they called his Egyptian currency in this modern era, seemed to be valuable enough, but whatever, he wouldn't think too much about it and simply keep exchanging them every time he could. "... I see him." Said a voice whispering behind some trees, not so far from where the Djinn was walking through. "Is he alone?" Said another voice as the first one nodded.(c)

  3. Perhaps there was someone else hiding close as well. "Good. We don't want him escaping now, so if you would.~" Said the second voice as the first hiding person nodded again, crouching to press both hands on the ground. Hiten kept walking, humming yet another melody without noticing anything strange. After passing some threes, however, he stopped and blinked under his sunglasses. Looking down, he noticed the ground was slightly wet, inspecting a bit more he noticed there was suddenly a river passing by next to him, then inspecting his surroundings he noticed there even seemed to be some structures around. http://i.picpar.com/ifWb.jpg "... What." Whispered the Djinn in surprise before hearing rustles behind him. He yelped and turned around, looking through some trees to notice a figure standing in the shadows of the thick forest. The Djinn squinted slightly under his sunglasses, noticing the aura of the person standing there being somewhat deep blue with few white sparkles(c)

  5. Here and there. It was a rather unusual aura, thus, he knew this was no ordinary person. The person then walked forth a bit more, enough for his form to be revealed. http://i.picpar.com/mfWb.png A humanoid cat stood there, deep eyes staring at Hiten without saying a word as if he was eyeing his prey. "... Ah! You-" Said the Djinn before the feline man suddenly appeared in front of him. He surely was fast! The next thing he knew, the cat threw a shiny fist forth which caused an energy explosion where he stood, yet he managed to dodge it by moving backwards. Sweat rolled down the sides of his head as the cat appeared in front of him again, throwing energy fist after energy fist. Hiten simply limited himself to dodging, sidestepping away from the fists and jumping away all around the strange place he now was in. "Hold on!" Said the Djinn as the feline stopped for a second, ears perking up as Hiten then placed the bags down on some flat rocks on the floor. (c)

  7. The Djinn inhaled deeply and exhaled quickly then, taking a firm standing position in front of the cat man while giving a determined look through his sunglasses. The cat shot himself forth, ready to punch Hiten once again and even when an energy explosion did happen, the Djinn remained untouched thanks to his invisible wall-like defenses. The cat jumped back, taking some space to think on his next move. Hiten remained completely still, looking at the cat as he suddenly disappeared again, reappearing on the Djinn's left side swinging his knee forth to hit the Djinn just for it to impact rather loudly against the barrier-like defenses. Hiten looked to the side, sweating a bit once again from the cat man's speed. Once again the cat disappeared, quickly reappearing behind the Djinn throwing another punch with no contact. He kept doing this teleporting-like trick around, hitting the Djinn from every side, every angle possible as he simply remained still, sweating nervously more and more.(c)

  9. Soon, the cat man jumped back once again, taking some space while panting slightly tired. "Are you giving up yet?" He asked. "... No." Replied the cat man. "You keep on using your cheap excuse of defense trick. I can see its form, i can see its shape. That... Massive thing behind you. It's protecting you with incredible speed. No mortal could ever reach you." Said the cat man with a deep voice and a foreign accent before glaring and grinning at the sweating Djinn. "Luckily for us, i am no mortal." Said the cat man then as his hair gave a little wave in the wind before becoming pointy, every single hair leaning backwards and downward. He then shot forth once again, this time making a little coin dropping-like sound every time he disappeared and reappeared. His movements became even faster, fast enough to travel with the sound itself. The impact of his attacks also became slightly stronger, explosions happening around the Djinn with wider range and quicker pace. (c)

  11. Hiten could simply turn to one side with widen eyes under his sunglasses before the cat man disappeared and reappeared somewhere else. This kept happening again and again and again as Hiten kept sweating more and more and more out of nervousness. After a while, the Djinn panted loudly, inhaling and exhaling while sweat rolled down his face, arms and exposed abs. The cat managed to get through the defenses limits of one meter and had a fist right in front of his face. "I have surpassed your impenetrable defense.~" Said the cat man with a wide grin before taking few steps back. He looked slightly tired himself, with sweat of his own on its fur. Hiten placed his hands on his own knees taking deep breaths in and out before laughing lightly, then loudly as the cat looked at him with a confident smile even when the Djinn was laughing. "You did! You actually got through my defenses!" Said Hiten before cleaning all the sweat away of his face, taking his firm standing position once again. (c)
  12.
  13. He inhaled and exhaled a second time then as he looked at the cat man. "It only took you 5 thousand years of training to achieve that speed. For that i am happy! And just as i promised all those years ago... Now that you managed to come through my defense... I shall now show you... My attack." Said the Djinn as the cat man slowly leaned forth ready to go forth again. Hiten clenched his fingers, making fists as he then crossed his arms placing his fists under his armpits. Both of them remained still looking at each other before the cat man went forth with its incredible speed just to crash himself against an invisible barrier 4 meters away from the Djinn. "Eh!?" Exclaimed the cat as he jumped back. "What are you doing? Come forth!" Said Hiten with a wide smile. The cat clenched its teeth and did just that, unexpectedly crashing 5 meters away before being pushed to one side against some trees. He quickly recovered and disappeared and reappeared behind Hiten. (c)

  15. The cat's fur became spiky once again as he went even further just to be pushed back by hundreds of invisible waves. He panted some, disappearing and reappearing with coin dropping sounds again and again and again as if he looked for an entrance to attack but ended up widening his eyes as from any angle he tried to go through he was pushed back by hundreds of waves. He ended up with one hand and one knee on the ground while panting. "Your defenses... They... Are inverted." Said the cat. "Yes. In this form i cannot use this technique's full potential, but when i change it from defense and attack modes, one can really feel the difference!" Said the Djinn as he leaned forth. The cat's eyes widened a lot as he sweated. In his own vision, several thousands of invisible hand-like figures came through all around him as if they planned on smacking him flat on the floor. He really thought he was going to die there, but Hiten stopped as the cat was crouching covering his head with both hands.(c)
  16.
  17. "Well, that is the attack mode of this technique! At least on this form of mine." Hiten chuckled, uncrossing his arms and going back to grab his bags as the cat man relaxed and fell on his butt on the floor, sweating like a mad man with wide eyes. "Hey, Cuthum. You can come out now!" Said the Djinn towards some trees as a slender figure emerged from behind, sweating almost as much as the cat man. http://i.picpar.com/lfWb.png This other man bowed on the ground, pressing hands and forehead against the ground in front of Hiten as the cat man looked at him. "I-I'm sorry, Lord Heka! I was convinced to help Master Aleki on this little ambush! I was weak on will and could not deny my superior! T-Thus i was an accomplice. I will accept any punishment, my Lord!" Said the man, it was obvious by his voice that he was the first person whispering before. "Come on Cuthum, stand up! I knew well Aleki would come anytime for me to test him again." Said the Djinn with a chuckle and a smile as the man(c)

  19. Bowing on the ground raised his sweaty nervous face before raising very slowly then gulping a tad. "You didn't notice our presence until i was in front of you." Said the cat man with an unimpressed face. "I grew used to this place's calm atmosphere! Not many people attack out of the blue in this regions." Said Hiten with a cheerful chuckle and a rub on the back of his head. The cat man frowned slightly as some sweat rolled down the side of his face. "You also smile quite a lot now. It is terrifying." He said then as Hiten stopped chuckling and blinked under his sunglasses, looking at the cat man. "6 thousand years ago, when i first met you... You were cold and serious. Your eyes were sharper than any scimitar. Your aura was intimidating to say the least. People would shake by the dominant, overpowering atmosphere you brought along with you. But now... Seeing you remain so calm. Smile and give the opponent chances to attack first... It feels like (c)

  21. A monster mocking its prey as it tries to protect its worthless life." Said the cat man as Hiten remained quiet, with both eyebrows raised. The man known as Cuthum looking between both of them with sweat that denoted his nervousness. Hiten then snorted lightly and laughed as both the cat man and Cuthum blinked dumbfounded. "It's been a really long time, Aleki. I have changed my ways. I learned to smile and value every single living being surrounding us. Even those who doesn't seem alive at first glimpse!" Said the Djinn as the cat man, known as Aleki, looked around in a confused manner. There was nothing but rocks and trees around, he didn't see anything alive around which caused him a lot of confusion. Most people from Hiten's past knew about the auras surrounding everything, yet, not everybody fully understood even plants and object had their own auras as well. "By the way, Lord Heka... You look different." Said Cuthum as Hiten blinked under his sunglasses and (c)

  23. Looked down at himself. "Ah! You guys probably met me on my real form. This is a form i learned to take by decreasing my power. That way i can be around people from this place!" Said the Djinn as the cat Aleki looked with widened eyes. "Your power is decreased!?" Asked the cat yelling with surprise, making Hiten flail for a moment. "Yeah! I had to decrease my power in a 49% so i could be able of hugging and giving hand shakes!" Said the Djinn as Cuthum gasped lightly, thinking Hiten was rather polite, even when he didn't understand the hugging part. "So you are at half of your power. It's still surprising, for you to have such amount of power, Lord Heka." Said the cat as Hiten chuckled lightly. "I am actually at 1%, my real form you guys met me in is actually a 50% of my full power." At his words, the cat man and his servant looked with wide opened mouths and wide blank eyes being too surprised as they then gave a loud anime-esque yell towards the sky. (c)

  25. After Cuthum ended the spell that created the strange forest zone in which Hiten and Aleki fought, the three continued towards the mansion. Aleki was a Half Beast Djinn of the Egyptian cat species. Like Hiten, he was born around the Ancient Egypt era, yet is far younger. 6 thousand years ago, he was allowed to join the Djinni Supreme Court. The gathering point for all the Djinni around the universe. There, he met all of the other Djinni and Hiten back when he was slightly different and had no sunglasses on. Cuthum, was a Spell Caster class Djinn like Hiten, however while Hiten was a Marid Djinn, Cuthum was a normal Djinn. Every single Djinn had their own sector in the vast universe. Each sector of the universe was divided on planetary sectors and at the same time, each planet had continental sectors which at the same time divided in country sectors. Every Djinn had their own "squad" and an assistant. In this case, Aleki was a Djinn in charge of the modern time Egypt and Cuthum was (c)
  26.
  27. His loyal assistant, second in charge or "right hand" as some may know that term better. 5 thousand years ago, overwhelmed by Hiten's power a young Aleki challenged him just to eat dirt within minutes. Back then, Hiten didn't have the same kind of defense as he had nowadays and still his defense was equally mighty. On their last encounter before Hiten moved to the Deity Realm with his friends, he promised the young Aleki that if he trained and become strong enough to get through his mighty defense, he would show the cat some of his strength and if he trained to survive his mighty blows, he would even train him. At present time, he managed to surpass Hiten's 1% defenses but was nearly squashed by his attack, thus he didn't see himself worthy of being trained by him just yet. "So this is the place you have been staying all this time?" Asked Aleki the cat as he looked at the mansion. "We could say so! I've been living here for almost 2 years. Before that i lived somewhere else." (c)
  28.
  29. Said the Djinn with a wide smile. Aleki the cat stared at the mansion, squinting slightly before scratching its head. "I don't really understand it, Lord Heka. But i guess you have become quite mysterious through the years. Whoever lives in here must be very important." Said the cat as he turned around towards the forest they just came from. "Some great friends! I even consider some of them my family." Said the Djinn with a smile. "Hmm. I see." Said the cat with a light chuckle. "Well, we'll take our leave now, Lord Heka. It was nice seeing you again." Said the cat as he began walking. Cuthum flailed lightly and gave a quick, polite bow towards Hiten before going quickly next to Aleki. "Next time we see each other, you won't have to hold back. I will definitely become your apprentice!" Said the cat without turning around as Hiten chuckled and walked towards the mansion. (c)
  30.
  31. Walking through the forest, the cat looked forth with a serious expression. "Cuthum." He said, making his assistant look at him. "Did you notice it too?" Asked the cat as the assistant looked back, blinking before looking at him. "About the mansion?" He asked. The cat nodded without stopping walking. "That place... It had an aura of its own. Not only that. But it was really thick. It almost felt as if it was a living being." Said the cat then, as he disappeared through the dense forest with his assistant, returning to their own sector.
