  1. Overview
  2. ########
  3. Fairy-Typing gives it useful resistances in Dark, Fighting, Bug, and a Dragon immunity
  4. Intimidate + 90/75 bulk allow it to switch in on numerous physical attackers
  5. Access to a solid support movepool with moves such as Thunder Wave, Roar, Heal Bell, and Taunt
  6. 120 Base attack means it isn't lacking in the offensive department
  7. Special bulk is lacking, meaning it can rarely switch in on most special attackers, and speed is very low
  8. No reliable recovery outside of RestTalk hampers it, meaning that without Wish support it can't take too much abuse
  9.

  23. Moves
  24. ========
  25.
  26. Play Rough is Granbull's main choice for STAB, and does solid damage off of its 120 Base attack stat, despite no investment
  27. Earthquake hits the Fire-Types, Posion-Types, and Steel-Types which resist Play Rough, making it a good attacking combo
  28. Heal Bell allows Granbull to play the role of a cleric as well as a pivot, allowing it to heal its teammates from any detrimental status
  29. Roar is used to phaze out boosting opponents and can rack up hazard damage
  30. Thunder Wave can cripple and slowdown opposing physical attackers, making them much easier for your team to beat
  31. Set Details
  32. =======
  33.
  34.
  35. 248 HP EVs minimizes SR damage, and 232 Def keeps it as physically bulky as possible
  36. Remaining 24 EVs are to put in Spe to outspeed uninvested Base 50s
  37. Impish Nature is used to maximize Defense
  38. Leftovers to increase longevity
  39.
  40. Usage Tips
  41. ========
  42. Used to switch in and cripple / phaze out physical threats like DD Feraligatr, Physical Samurott, Kangashkhan, and Hariyama
  43. Heal Bell can be game changing, so it is to be used at every opportunity when your team is suffering from status
  44. Using Roar whenever an obvious switch will be made to rack up hazard damage can greatly help your team in wearing down powerful threats
  45. Team Options
  46. ========
  47. Wish support is greatly useful, as Granbull can worn down quickly when it is checking a threat multiple times a game
  48. Special pivots or walls are very useful to take the special attacks aimed at Granbull, as it is much easier to KO from the special side than the physical side.
  49. Steel-types like Ferroseed and Kilnklang can take Steel or Poison-Type attacks, and proceed to setup on the opposing Pokemon
  50. Pokemon that are troubled with status but can put pressure on the opponent benefit from Granbull's abilities as a cleric, meaning that they aren't useless if statused

  64.
  65. **Strong special attackers**: Pokemon such as
  66.
  67. **Defensive Walls**: Ferroseed and Rhydon are both examples, eating up any almost any move it has and setting up hazards / retaliating
  68.
  69. **Offensive Fire-Types**: Typhlosion and Pyroar can switch into Play Rough, and can KO Granbull with their powerful attacks, but must watch out for Earthquake
  70.
  71. **Poison-Types**: Most Poison-types carry a second type, which allows them to survive an Earthquake and KO back, while most offensive ones can simply KO Granbull outright
