FP.rp rules

#futanaripalace.rp is, first and foremost, a place for everyone to enjoy themselves. As you play, you need only keep a few simple rules in mind. If you have questions of any kind, please PM one of the online operators on the channel, and if available, they will get back to you shortly. Explicitly disobeying the rules will net you a warning. If questionable behavior continues, you may either receive a kick from the channel, a timed ban, or a permanent one depending on the severity of your actions.

You are EXPECTED to read this list of rules. Claiming ignorance is not a way to avoid punishment where necessary, so please take these less-than-five minutes to skim the file.

These rules were written by Cecilia with help of leeter. Refer to either for a particular clarification on a rule.

* BE FRIENDLY - This is self-explanatory. Being nice to everyone (out of character, mainly) will make for a better atmosphere in the room. Of course, you can't always be everybody's best pal, but if there's someone you really don't like, it is much easier to just not pay attention to them than giving them a hard time. If they are actually harassing you or somebody else or otherwise breaking a rule, make sure that the operators know about it.

* OOC DOWN TO A MINIMUM - #futanaripalace.rp is made for roleplaying, and as such, while out of character discussion is allowed, we believe that it would be preferred by most were it kept low-profile. If you'd like to lengthily discuss games, movies or much of anything else that doesn't pertain directly to roleplay, please move your conversation to private chat or #futanaripalace.com. Unquoted non-actions are considered to be OOC, please use quotes if you cannot or choose not to use Actions.

* BE RESPECTFUL - Sometimes, for any one reason or several, someone won't want to roleplay with you (and/or join the currently ongoing room RP). You're free to try to convince them, but if they tell you to stop, you are expected to stop -- any more will count against you as harassment, and operator action may be taken.

* GOD-MODDING - When you god-mod, that usually means you're directly controlling the actions of the character belonging to the player you're playing with. This is extremely frowned upon for obvious reasons; when you post a message, make sure to leave room for the other person to make an action instead of doing it for them. What this also means is that you shouldn't assume that just because you made an action, that the other player won't counter it with something else. You control your character alone!

* EXTREME KINKS - This is a very broad subject, and rules alone aren't able to make it completely clear -- you'll have to make use of your common sense and best judgement. In general, during public room RP, you'll want to avoid the 'gross' kinks such as heavy/unwashed musk, bathroom play, blood and gore, vore (consumption of others) and underage themes, but these are only guidelines. If anyone (not just operators, but members as well) deems your current scene too extreme, you must either stop or move the scene to private (or #afterdark, which is a channel catering to the more hardcore kinks).

* DON'T USE TXTSPK - This breaks immersion and causes unnecessary drama. Please do your best to use appropriate descriptive language rather than shorthand or one word replies.

* KEEP NICKS TO 16 CHARACTERS OR BELOW - long nicks cause some irc clients trouble, it's also really annoying to those without tab completion

* TRY NOT TO BE OVERLY DISRUPTIVE - actions such as posting pictures can break the flow of play, please try not to post more than once every 60 minutes
