  11. How does the Metropolice Force/Civil Protection work on our server?:
  12.
  13. In summary, the Metro-Police Force/Civil Protection Faction works very uniquely, it is recommended to show humanism, and emotions during your work and break as an Officer, you are expected to perform duties well, and fulfill orders completely, while still saving space for common emotions usually hated upon in other gaming communities. Other than the differences in Unit Behavior, the Faction works within four core divisions, Judge, GRID, HELIX, and UNION, all lead by a Divisional Leader and an Elite-Protection Unit, along with the bunch is the sole UNIFORM Officer, and Sectorial/Sector Commander, the highest in command.
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. How would you act around citizens as a STANDARD ground protection unit?:
  18.
  19. As a standard G.P.U, I would act with an authoritative, respectful, and concerned type of behavior (Also known as the A.R.C Approach), authoritative for maintaining my duties, orders, and potential situations, respectful while dealing with Citizens/Loyalists in their questions, inquiries, and requests within the city, and concerned, while dealing with citizens recovering from an incident/attack, or while helping citizens in general. G.P.U's must be equipped with a behavioral spectrum, especially on this type of server.
  20.
  21.
  22.
  23. How would you behave around superior officers?:
  24.
  25. Truly, it depends on the level of intelligence your unit has in-character, and more importantly, your rank. For example, a Recruit, or even an i5 level Protection Officer, would be new, fresh, and possibly quite terrified, either afraid of making a noticeable mistake, or scrambling up their proper Union-Dialect. Of course, as the unit would grow and develop through both his/her division and ranks, they would become much more comfortable, always maintaining actions or words that are noticeably more respectful than before. By this time, you would follow your orders, address your superiors properly, however, it is common misconception that respectful dialect translates to a stone cold, Reich-Style type of actions, of course, this may be your unit's personality, but most of the time, it is important to ease yourself down. After the i4-i3 Rankings, now you would be more prepared, respectful, and most definitely more defined, you are held to a slightly higher standard in the eyes of your Superiors, and therefore, you must step up your behavior accordingly.
  26.
  27.
  28.
  29. Explain the average ground protection unit.:
  30.
  31. JUDGE: The average JUDGE unit maintains most of his/her humanistic behaviors, and is geared to operate specifically in the field of questioning, investigation, and Civil Infractions. Typically very intelligent, and inquisitive. Essentially the Detectives of the Union.
  32.
  33. GRID: GRID Units are typically different than other members of the Metro-Police, being more hands-on with their work and patrol. They are extremely skilled and qualified to work with industrialized machines, technology, and specific tools and equipment. They work on projects, fix machines or terminals, and create new equipment for the Universal Union to use.
  34.
  35. HELIX: Also known as the Medical Division of the Union, the HELIX Units are trained in quick, immediate response timings, and expansive First Aid, Medical Treatments, and Emergency Surgeries, they are well kept, and know their way around a pair of medical gloves, or a medical pack.
  36.
  37. UNION: The backbone of the Universal Union, the UNION Officers are specifically trained to patrol efficiently, watch for Civil Unrest, deal with situations involving basic and advanced criminal infractions, and take necessary combat actions against a threat if the case may be.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41. How would you go about following an order from a command unit?:
  42.
  43. I would follow the order given with precision, taking careful processes and steps to ensure the order is carried out with maximum efficiency, especially in high-risk situations.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47. What does 10-20 mean?:
  48.
  49. 10-20 is a Union Radio Code that is used to represent a Unit's last-known location. The term can be used in both calm and emergency situations, as it is quick, and easy to respond to.
  50.
  51.
  52.
  53. Sum up how the infraction system works in your own words:
  54.
  55. The infraction system is quite basic, gradually increasing in punishment and criminal points, as the severity and threat level of the infraction also increases, this creates a balanced system on which the Union and Civil Protection Teams can rely on, of course, for information, check out the bloody guide.
  56.
  57.
  58.
  59. What equipment are standard ground units issued at the rank of i5?:
  60.
  61. Union-Issued Vocalized Radio, capable of reaching long distance communications with maximum efficiency.
  62.
  63. Union-Issued Electronically-Powered Stun-Baton, or Stun-stick, capable of influencing minor pains and injuries, to quickly dealing fatal blows with the flick of a switch.
  64.
  65. Standard-Issue H&K USP Match Sidearm, equipped with nine-millimeter rounds capable of silencing targets from a short to medium range.
  66.
  67. -Also available for use are Zip-Ties, Request Devices (Uncommon), or a normal Baton (Rare).
  68.
  69.
  70.
  71. Does an order from an EpU override an order from dispatch?:
  72.
  73. Negative, while the orders of an Elite Protection Officer are most definitely something to be listened to, Dispatch controls, advises, and addresses the city and Metro-police directly, it is common knowledge that when the deafening, robotic voice of the automated Dispatch System alerts you, it is your priority.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77. Are you allowed to amputate citizens in public?:
  78.
  79. It is highly disliked, it is preferred to amputate in a private/unpopulated area, and more specifically, in the Nexus. The only primary use for amputating citizens in public would be the result of mild to major Civil Unrest cases, which would have to be approved by a Superior Officer.
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83. What is the difference between a Judgement Wavier & an Autonomous Wavier?:
  84.
  85. Judgement:
  86.
  87. Citizens are brought to a designated district/location to which they are tied, searched, and then released after the situation has lowered. Any citizens not at the designated area will cause a Civil Miscount, which will increase the length of the Waiver, and cause a search for the possible Anti-Citizens, as they are suspected to have something to do with the creation of the Waiver, A.F.K Players are excluded from this, however.
  88.
  89. Autonomous:
  90.
  91. Within an Autonomous Waiver, a district is charged with Major Civil Unrest, and Anti-Civil Activities, for citizens within their homes, their evening would go about as a normal Judgement Waiver, however, to citizens outside their designated housing, they will be amputated on independent, even autonomous judgement, which leaves the decision to the Officer, all units who are i2 Rank or above will be equipped with a fully-automatic firearm for carrying out their orders, and a thorough sweep of the slums and sewers will be conducted.
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95. What is the difference between Command and Ground units?:
  96.
  97. Command:
  98.
  99. Command Units are usually stationed directly in the Nexus Control Room to give orders and missions, or away from the local situation front, they give basic and advanced orders to all basic and standard Protection Team Officers, and rarely engage in combat, but when they do, they are trained and equipped to do so with careful precision, as mistakes could result in a major loss for the Union.
  100.
  101. Ground:
  102.
  103. Standard Ground Protection Units are the task-force of which follows the orders issued by High Command, and are always on the front lines, with few high ranking units remaining away from the action. They have the liberty to give basic orders and commands with approval, and use designated firearms with discretion.

  108.
  109.
  110.
  111.
  112.
  113. Why would you like to join the Metropolice Force? :
  114.
  115. My main reason of joining the Metro-Police Forces is to create an opportunity to join the ranks of the Overwatch-Transhuman-Arm, however, I also would love to further my role-play experiences and qualities on this server, and overall, being a member of the Metro-Police, especially when you are allowed to show emotions, is incredibly fun and enjoyable.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. Why do you think you should be given this whitelist? :
  120.
  121. I believe I should receive this white-list because I have acquired the necessary experiences, and knowledge to efficiently play as it, I am a dedicated individual, and with this new faction, I am sufficiently able to handle any situation or incident that is thrown at me, I understand how the Metro-Police and Civil Protection Teams work and operate, and will maintain that operation with ease and efficiency.
  122.
  123. Sum up the OOC expectations expected of you if accepted.:
  124.
  125. As a member of the Metropolitan Police Force, it is not only crucial while I am in-character, but all of my actions are crucial out-of-character as well. I am expected to explain things to new individuals, inform of the server rules, how certain factions work, and what they can expect. One may say this is truly an Administrator's duty, and would question why a player would be enforcing these things, throughout my years of serious role-play, an administrator, on a well-run server, should not have to do his job, they are their to enforce when it is out of the player's hands, not before it even reaches them, players must realize the crucial part they play on educating new, or unfamiliar people to the game-mode, regardless of faction or rank. However, one of the most common infractions made out-of-character by the Metro-police is meta-gaming, something in which even I have been guilty of, I will watch my actions on the server, and be sure to prevent this from ever occurring in the first place. I understand the responsibilities handed down to me as a Civil Protection/Metropolitan Police Force Officer, and I will handle them well.
  126.
  127.
  128.
  129.
  130.
  131.
  132.
  133. What is your past experiences with Civil Protection / Metropolice / etc. Sum it up. :
  134.
  135. -Sectorial Commander
  136.
  137. -Commander.
  138.
  139. -GRID Divisional, along with Ranks i5-i1.
  140.
  141. -Helix, up to rank i2.
  142.
  143. -Judge, up to Divisional Status.
  144.
  145. -Union, up to i1 Status.
  146.
  147.
  148.
  149. How long have you been roleplaying? :
  150.
  151. I have been role-playing for approximately three and a half years now, I try to always improve my quality, and assist new players to the game-mode.
  152.
  153.
  154.
  155. Sum up you best previous roleplay experiences. :
  156.
  157. So far my best role-play experiences have been probably role-playing on a custom-server using different types of resistance factions to wage civil wars on each other, along with my time as Civil and City Administrators, so far, I've brought my best to every faction and experience I've had, ranging from such servers as Epsilon Roleplay, Voltage Gaming, Shock-Core Gaming, White Orb Roleplay, Tarrenvale Roleplay, my own community, Transcendence Roleplay, and many, many more. My absolute favorite and best suited role-playing game-mode would be Serious Black Mesa Roleplay, with Half-Life 2 Roleplay coming at a close second.
  158.
  159.
  160.
  161. When did you decide to join Burrito Brothers? (Bonus: Why?) :
  162.
  163. I decided to join Burrito Brothers approximately two weeks ago, and I have been actively dedicated ever since. I joined because it was recommended to me by a close friend of mine, and not only that, it has a dedicated staff and community who help and assist the players, and many communities out there now do not have that.
  164.
  165.
  166.
  167.
  168.
  169.
  170.
  171. As a Civil Protection unit, a citizen approaches you and attempts to begin a conversation, stating: "So, how are you doing today?", how do you respond?:
  172.
  173. I would respond to the citizen, following the A.R.C Approach, I would maintain a friendly and respectful attitude, chuckling here and there, and would get involved with the citizen. However, I would have to cut the discussion quickly, and continue it while I was off-duty. Throughout the conversation, I would continue to be alert, and maintain my post.
  174.
  175. You are patrolling, when suddenly you witness a citizen robbing another citizen, with the use of a knife, for what appears to be a bag. How do you handle the situation? :
  176.
  177. This is almost a Catch-22 for many people in my mind, of course, all of my answers are quite opinionated, and geared to my own style. The first thing I would do is report my location, and the situation, this way, if I go down, critical time will not be wasted. On the Force, these situations can quickly flip out of control, and waiting five minutes for fellow officers to either find you, or track your Bio-Signal, would give the criminal crucial time to escape capture, or prepare for more reinforcements. After you report in, check the area around you, of course, this would have to be done in seconds, as everything must be a quick, step-by-step processes in your brain. Clear the area of any possible collateral damages (Citizens, Loyalists, or other nuisances/distractions.) Next, carefully, but sternly, approach the criminal, upholstering and drawing your Standard Issue Firearm (Once more, varies with your rank and status), raise your voice to a stern, yet aware tone, instruct the citizen to lower his/her weapon, and face and approach the nearest wall. I would be sure to instruct the victim of the attack to remain calm, and, if possible, distance him/herself away from the situation, but still remain at the scene for questioning, and or case evidence.
  178.
  179. If the citizen is Compliant, you would approach, still on your guard, request them to lower the weapon on the ground, and move it away, after, tie the citizen, and search for any other weapons, contraband, or stolen goods. (This would be done of course with confirming whether or not they resist.) Afterwards, you would give the citizen the stolen goods, and escort the Anti-Citizen back to the Nexus, of which the appropriate punishment will be delivered, which in this case would be a Level-Three Infraction.
  180.
  181. However, if the citizen is acting with Non-Compliance, you would give a final warning to the citizen to drop their weapon, and face the wall, if they do not comply, you would administer a Level-One Non-Compliance Verdict, the next action or actions you respond with vary greatly on what the citizen does, I would be prepared for the anti-citizen to attack the victim further, attempt to evade the situation entirely, or, rush you, and attempt to attack. In this situation, the possible factors and variables are endless, however, I am completely confident I would be able to destabilize the situation, and apprehend the Anti-Citizen.
  182.
  183.
  184.
  185. As an i1, having been in the force for quite a long time, you are ordered to re-educate a citizen selected by your Divisonal. You walk up to the citizen, who is conversing with others in a crowded cafe. How do you go about doing this? :
  186.
  187. I would approach the designated citizen by calmly approaching them, and asking politely for them to follow, and would re-assure the nearby individuals that everything is in order, just a simple check. After the citizen is out of the public area, and away from any crowds or people, I would request for them to stand against the nearest wall, place their hands above their head, and remain calm. After they have been tied, and apprehended, I would list the citizen's crime, and inform them of the necessary punishments, once they have been informed, I would take out my Union-Issued Stun-Stick, and proceed to beat the citizen until he/she is unconscious, I would then untie that citizen, and leave the area, once more leaving to perform my other duties and orders.
  188.
  189.
  190.
  191. As an i5, a fellow officer (an i3) attempts to start a conversation about life in the city with you while you are on duty, how do you go about responding?:
  192.
  193. I would respond to the Officer, discuss things with him as needed, now, does this mean I would through caution to the wind and simply talk about tea-time? Of course not, throughout the discussion I would maintain my alertness, still keeping a careful watch, and maintaining my duties as necessary. I would usually tend to close the discussion relatively quickly however, and continue it either off-duty, or at another location.
  194.
  195.
  196.
  197.
  198.
  199.
  200.
  201. Do you realize that if you break any of the rules while in possession of this whitelist, that it can be taken away? : Of course, that is to be expected, and I swear I will do my best not to break any of the rules/expectations delivered to me, and if I do, I accept the punishment in full.
  202.
  203.
  204.
  205. Will you read the MPF guide often, as to keep yourself refreshed with the regulations and such? : Of course, I will also keep my knowledge of the Union in-check using the Wiki, and other guides/sources.
  206.
  207.
  208.
  209. ---- SUB NOTE: Most of these questions are to get a feel of how you will behave as an officer and don't directly determine if you're accepted. These questions however will determine how much work you may need in order to fit into our Protection Teams.
  210.
  211. ---- SUB NOTE: If the guide is not posted or available, then await till it is to apply. The guide will be updated often with basic material that you may not need to review, any major edits will be announced.
