- Mega Man Boss Test:
- Ideal bosses to try and test my MMF2 skills when to get better.
- Recommendations by myself:
- Robot Masters:
- Heat Man: Simple boss, could teach better gravity and trajectory coding.
- Metal Man: Another simple boss, could teach stage-changing events and buster-enemy reactions.
- Wood Man: Could teach circular rotations (unless I go the old-school choppy route with the animation) and shields.
- Gemini Man: Bouncy projectiles, splitting enemy.
- Hard Man/Guts Man: Freezing the player for both, and exploding objects for Guts.
- Snake Man: Ground-Traveling projectiles
- Toad Man: Full-Screen attacks.
- Stone Man: Rotating attack, invincibilty states.
- Blizzard Man: Bouncing enemy, arena-placed snowflakes.
- Mercury: Weapon-stealing effects, splitting blob attack.
- Mars: Speeding rocket, homing projectiles, and laying mines.
- Fortress Bosses:
- (I'M NOT DOING YELLOW DEVIL NO)
- Mecha Dragon: Moving arena at start, weakspots, huge boss.
- Quint: He's so simple it would be impossible to screw it up. Unless I do, like usual. Also, bouncing and floor-based projectiles.
- World Machine 2: Multiple phase fights, homing missile. Also, it's a fairly easy boss in general.
- Wily 1 from 5: Moving ground, working with crushers.
- Wily 1 from 3: Objects moving while staying attached to the main object, and weakpoint expermentation.
- Terra: Homing missile, many factors from robot masters, teleportation.
- Sunstar: Combines many factors from the Robot Masters section, and also a multi-phased fight.
- Misc:
- (Not entirely from the classic series, but could be attempted. More advanced stuff here.)
- Storm Eagle: One of the harder bosses to recreate on this list. Huge arena, Enemy-movement attacks, replicating sprites from the tornado, spawning enemies, etc.
- Compass Man: Seperating enemy body, spreading projectiles.
- Konro Man: Timing-based attacks, destroyable projectiles, linear path movement.
- Mega Man 3 Protoman: Bounces and fires. Nothing too hard.
