  1. [07:12:09] He left the confines of the city, alongside his companion the duo would travel off to the nearby lake. The ookami was accustomed to such ordeals, having to fend for himself in a world that doubted his existence. Regardless the two would eventually appear beside the lake. Ehren kneeling down, both hands clasped together as he prayed in silence to his goddess. After a moment of silence he'd begun gathering water from the lake, removing a few tools to begin heating it up for later use.
  2.
  3. The direwolf beside him had been lying down now in silence. Without much care at the moment, the two had fully recovered from their recent battle. The wolf having a deep scar concealed by fur, whilst the ookami on the other hand was without a shirt, getting used to wearing clothing to begin with. Though without his shirt, his scars were open for all to see.
  4.
  5. (Ehren Kien)
  6.
  7. [07:30:56] The walls of the city grew steadily more distant as Makia traveled away from them, an angry energy surrounds the man as he approaches the lakeside. Upon his shoulder remains a bird of prey, an adult hawk, handsome and proud in it's brown feathered stature. Every now and then you could see the hawk shifting in place, legs moving to one side, then the other as it side-steps left and right across Makia's metal plated shoulder.
  8.
  9. Upon his face there is visible a faint scar that begins just below his right eyelid and ends a little over halfway down his cheek, while upon his one uncovered arm there can be seen a wrapping scar that appears to travel around and around his forearm to end directly at his wrist.
  10.
  11. His eyes hold an animalistic sheen to them, glaring outwards with the lazy energy of a predator, and those eyes lay directly upon Ehren and his direwolf. A strange emerald breeze travels around the man, blowing hair and scarf to the side yet causing no discomfort or distress for the bird upon his shoulder.
  12. (Makia Hirano)
  13.
  14. [07:42:01] Minding his own business, the stranger while noticed, it was quiet easy when the field was so vast and not much interfered with his animal like senses. An exhale came out as he looked over his shoulder, displaying the acknowledgement that he knew the man was near. This didn't last long though as he turned back to his boiling waters. Ehren seemed rather quiet, due to his failures, the ookami was still in a state of self-loath. Wanting only to be noticed by who he was, regardless of his downsides.
  15.
  16. The direwolf on the other hand would awaken from the light slumber and rise to great heights, the beast, they were quite the intimidating thing when compared to most wolves of equal age. Maybe it was due to the lifestyle it had, forcing a growth beyond reason, reasons unimaginable to most? "No worry. . ." He mumbled loud enough for the man to hear as his back stood to the man. "Only scared, get jumpy is all, he really nice when nice people are near." He continues as he stretched his arms out, lying on his back he rolled backwards till he stood upright. Clothing concealing his true heritage, ears hidden beneath the hood and tail tucked into his pants and wrapped around a leg.
  17.
  18. "Come to see lake, hm?" He questioned, curious of the man. All the while he kept his attention to the boiling water as well, ensuring he didn't waste a drop. Cleansing it of whatever was inside of the lake that might prove harmful.
  19.
  20. (Ehren Kien)
  21.
  22. [08:36:38] Wide amber eyes trail upwards towards the direwolf glaring openly at it's intimidating greeting. Whether or not Makia was directly impressed by the direwolf's size is entirely impossible to tell, though from what is shown upon the man's expression you could surmise that he wasn't at all threatened by it. In fact, it could be seen as if the exact opposite had occurred from the wolf's show of aggression. Already wide eyes seemed to widen slightly further, and the depraved man's expression twisted slightly to reveal two pointed fangs that rival a vampire's own.
  23.
  24. His words coming out in a harsh tumble, as if they were forced through gritted teeth. "You should attempt to teach your pet some manners then." His own hawk shifted upon his shoulder, talons clicking against the metal underneath the black fabric of his coat.
  25.
  26. That glare then turned away from the direwolf, as though a predator was dismissing it as uninteresting or non-threatening, to rest upon the hooded figure. "The lake? Yes, that is why I am here." His words held a direct and aggressive nature to them, as they always seemed to, and though he did glance down towards the boiling water, his actions were quickly dismissed as he instead returned to a constant unshaken glare upon Ehren.
  27.
  28. "Who are you then?"
  29. (Makia Hirano)
  30.
  31. [08:47:44] While emotions were hidden behind a façade, the clear indication to such inhumane traits were easily displayed from the grin. It only made the ookami what race he was a part of, unless some humans had teeth sharp as that. Regardless he shrugged lightly, "He has manner, just scared is all. When you get, don't you get defensive?" He questioned, curious, but uncaring for the actual answer. "Also. . . No pet, friend, grew up together." A response given as the little man turned to kneel, quietly removing the pot of water and emptying it into a container. Repeating the process he poured more water into the hot pot before standing upright once more to look over at his companion.
  32.
  33. Leaping up he landed on the wolfs back before running his hands along the scalp of the beast, massaging its fur to coo the beast into an eased position once more. "No worry. . ." He mumbled lightly, exhaling a sigh before leaving himself seated up top of the wolf. The ookami, he didn't exactly understand where the aggression was coming from and as such dismissed it, assuming the man had been under some form of stress to be in a sour mood. "Me?" He pointed off to himself.
  34.
  35. "Me. . . Nobody." His face fell down to look at his pal. "Just no one. . . One day maybe I be someone. I stay around here, nostbale. Danger coming, said I help." He admitted to the man, as surely with such current events the world around them was undergoing not only a change in power, but fearful of what might come to consume them all.
  36.
  37. (Ehren Kien)
  38.
  39. [09:16:44] A brief huff emits from the man, arms folding across his chest as he continues to glare forwards, though one hand does reach upwards to scritch into the chest of the hawk upon his shoulder. The proud stature of the hawk upon his shoulder doesn't even move, though it does seem obviously pleased with the attentions given towards it. It appears intensely trained to behave the way it does.
  40.
  41. "Animals have no business being anything more than pets. You should teach it to respect you, and to follow orders." His scratching hand lowers, though it also extends forwards and Makia makes a clicking sound with his tongue and the hawk hops forwards onto his plated forearm with a flutter of wings.
  42.
  43. Amber eyes flick downwards towards the bird of prey that remains perched upon his arm, staring towards it with a certain amount of affection that seems to run counter intuitive to the words that come forwards. "That is all they are good for. They can't think for themselves. They need to be told what they should do."
  44.
  45. "Take my own for example, it is perfectly behaved, despite your own's reaction towards me. Though if I wanted to, I could tell it that your dog is an enemy, only then would it respond in kind. It has no opinions other than the ones I give to it."
  46.
  47. "A perfect example of what animals should be."
  48.
  49. He shifts his forearm towards his chest, making another clicking sound and the bird lunges forwards-- to land expertly upon his shoulder once again, talons taking hold as metallic shifting and grinding can be heard as Makia accepts the trained bird upon his shoulder.
  50.
  51. It was only then that he looked upwards, finding Ehren's gaze with his own. "You are nobody? Heh. Whatever you say, can't say I much care one way or the other. Though if you intend to help Nostvale with the coming threat.." Makia offers a small indifferent shrug, falling silent.
  52. (Makia Hirano)
  53.
  54. [09:25:16] The two shared much in difference when contemplating the topic of pets versus friends and then some. To Ehren, his companion was more than just a pet, he was the only real friend he could rely on, throughout the youth of the ookami, this direwolf had his back, always aimed to keep him safe and event went far enough during the attack on bandits to give its life up to ensure Ehren lived. Such loyalty, it couldn't be compared to merger concepts as pets. To look at his wolf as a pet, it would be the same belittlement that others looked upon Ehren when judging him.
  55.
  56. "Hm. . . Nope!" He responded plainly, soon he continued to compare his ideals against the mans. "He no pet, he friend. . . Always with me, always want to keep safe. No need to command. He only get mean, cause scared. Scared of people hurting us again. People always hurts us. No like." He paused, turning to his boiling water before quickly crawling off to remove the pot before he lost the liquid to steam. Refilling another container, he started pouring droplets of a strange liquid to them. In actuality they were the leftovers from the mashed herbals he gathered a few weeks back while he spent time in the forest before being forced to leave.
  57.
  58. "Any way. . . He pal, friend. Only thing I tell him to do is, run! When danger come. Mhm." He nodded, feeling as though, the concept was hard for the wolf to understand, only because its life was shared with the ookami and knowing to lose its friend was a dreaded thing indeed.
  59.
  60. Soon the air feel silent and he pondered on what to say next, "You help nostbale with new monster coming? I wonder what happen when come. . . Animals and yokai are even scared. Will other land help? Will yokai help? If dey do. . . What happen after defeat?" He wondered, oh so much. Would war erupt on the spot and who would it favor? How many lives will be lost in the conflict? Only time could tell. . . .
  61. (Ehren Kien)
  62.
  63. [09:51:44] A maintained stance to be sure, animals were less capable life that were only capable of learning how to follow orders if taught properly. They couldn't learn things like speech, they couldn't feel emotions. They were simple lives, to be trained and taught to respond to the most basic commands. Though even though there was an obvious disagreement, it wasn't something that Makia would force onto others overmuch, no matter how wrong he believed they were.
  64.
  65. So all Ehren received in kind was a skeptical stare with very little in the way of belittlement, yet all the same there was something worth pointing out.
  66.
  67. "When you jumped on it's back and began to calm it, were you not telling it what to think? It was scared, yet you were trying to tell it that it didn't need to be, and it listened to you didn't it? If you have no need to command it, then that shouldn't have been necessary." His skeptical gaze turns upon the form of the wolf blandly. "You are playing pretend with what your wolf is to you."
  68.
  69. "The fact that you tell him to run when danger comes only makes it worse as well. He seems to be a powerful creature, it is a waste to not let it fight alongside you, especially considering you claim that people often attempt to hurt you. If it dies, you only need to find another like it. Like my own, there are many of it's kind that can be found. It doesn't take that long to train a new one."
  70.
  71. Another brief shrug of indifference is given, though Makia's hand comes up to scratch the bird's chest once again as he finally responds to the hooded man's final words. "I will be helping against the threat as well, yes. Nostvale is my home, I will see it protected."
  72.
  73. "As for what will happen.. Who's to say?" Another indifferent shrug is offered towards the man. "All we need to worry about is killing it and moving on."
  74. (Makia Hirano)
  75.
  76. [10:08:48] It might seem that, but weren't humans all the same? To each their own, but it was natural to speak of running when fear struck, when danger arose. Sometimes even humans needed to be held to understand, to be cooed into an eased state. Ehren would make this apparent in his speech that seemed to press his opinion. "When scared, endanger. . . When cannot win, would you not tell others to run? Hm. . . You never get angry and other tell you to calm down? No command, just help. Sometime everyone need help to understand. Same with friend." He'd state as he shook the bottles of water.
  77.
  78. A herbal drink he'd been storing up now for reinsurance for the battle closing oh so near. It was only a matter of time before this creature would emerge, the feeling of sickness, the ghastly manifestation that might've been capable of sight far beyond the distance, when the sun goes down, but a shadow spotted off yonder. "Depend on person. . . I no want friend to die with me. If I no win, he no win either. No point. . ." This was how he saw it. "But I know what you mean. . . I just no see that way. Mhm." Exhaling a sigh he slowly packed his belongings before looking to begin small amounts of training using the lake as a medium, he planned to harness the realm of nature. Surely the plant life at the floor of the lake would be easier to bend and grow.
  79.
  80. Endowing his palm with the flow of time, slowly a mist like substance would motion forward to the surface of the lake, crafting a blank it submerged to the surface. The ookami attempting to give it the command of growth, directing it specifically to the plant life, a process that he didn't expect to happen instantly. He was still learning, but having saw clios command alongside a few other nature magi, he understood the basic's.
  81.
  82. "I. . . I no want to kill, no like hurting. Will beat up to stop evil, but c-can't kill." He mumbled, feeling himself a rather strange person for feeling this way, but it was just how he was.
  83.
  84. (Ehren Kien)
  85.
  86. [10:34:24] As expected, the hooded man seemed far too attached to his wolf for his mind to be changed, not like that is what Makia had set out to do in the first place. He simply stated his opinion and left the man to take what he will from it. There was no point in argueing about it, none at all. The topic simply wasn't that important enough to press further into, so he let the matter rest with an indifferent sigh.
  87.
  88. "No, I wouldn't. I was taught to be strong, I was taught to never run from anything." It was a simple answer, one that rang with the confidence of belief.
  89.
  90. His gaze moves sideways watching Ehren's attempts at training. It had been admittedly quite a long time since Makia had felt the need to practice his magic. Perhaps because he often preferred to do things much more personally, focusing magic around himself instead of using it to directly attack others.
  91.
  92. Something else had been said that bothered the man however, and as a hand came upwards to scratch into the chest of the hawk for the third time, his answer would come out with a disapointed inflection that slowly grew in wanton bloodlust, eerie in the predatorial delight that came with the announced opinion.
  93.
  94. "You do not kill? You can't kill? You will not succeed in life if you do not kill those who seek to do you harm. They would only come back again and again until you are either too weak to fight them, or they are too many."
  95.
  96. "You have a stupid outlook on this."
  97.
  98. "People that choose to be your enemy deserve nothing less than to be taught that you shouldn't be fucked with. That is the only thing they will ever understand. You kill them to teach others."
  99.
  100. "What if someone killed your friend? Would all you do is beat them up? Would you really still believe that they don't deserve more than that?"
  101. (Makia Hirano)
  102.
  103. [10:48:03] Hearing the man speak, this wasn't the first time he heard something of the sorts. Why did people of this land care so much for things such as ending the lives of others? To ehren, he couldn't imagine himself spilling the blood with violent intent. If death occurred it surely wouldn't be because he desired as such, possibly by some unforeseen circumstances, but never the less. The ookami hidden beneath his clothing would work patiently with his mana. Feeling the flow of roots merge with his time magic, slowly he sped up the growth by mere seconds. Yet over the span of time, surely a single plant would begin to arise from the lake?
  104.
  105. Looking over at makia, he could only shake his head, "I know. . . No first to tell me, b-but. . . Can't. No want it. Kill is bad, lost mahma cause bad people like kill. No want to be like them." He stated, something he took to heart at such great lengths one could say he was a lesser being compared to those of equal strengths to him, because he lacked the ability to end a life. In ever fight he'd ever been in, they always seemed to occur with him wielding his weapon and encasing it behind a shroud of mana to make it a mere blunt object, rather than sharp.
  106.
  107. "Will be someone, someday, with no kill. . . I'm sure. Just take long, very long, but work hard. I promise." He mumbled, not as though the man would care about his promise, but it was mostly something he told himself, reassuring himself no such harm could ever exist.
  108.
  109. Yet went brought upon the question of having his friend killed, what he'd do then. . . The ookami could only be silent, no response. . . He couldn't imagine how he'd react, "No want to think that. . ." He finally responded with. Such imagery was unbearable, more so when already being placed in such a position. The man gorandis claiming to want to end the life of his friend had he not told him to run before the battle started.
  110.
  111. (Ehren Kien)
  112.
  113. [11:16:12] It was a cold stare then, one that seemed to hold everything between the man's still risen bloodlust and the obvious dismissal in that glare. Makia seemed to hold no further interest in the hooded man and his mutt. The magic that was being wrought upon the plantlife within the lake was quickly looked away from, placing that cold glare upon the hooded man.
  114.
  115. "What use are you then? Probably as useful as your dead mother aren't you? What, did you learn all this shit from her? Did she tell you that killing was wrong? Pff. She probably died still spouting that nonsense, even as they killed her, whoever she was."
  116.
  117. "What will you do if you ever see the people that killed her, huh? Do you even have the backbone to do anything at all to them? They killed your mother and you are trying to tell me you honestly don't want to do the same to them?"
  118.
  119. "That's pathetic. My own mother has her faults, but she at least taught me that family is something you should protect and hold close."
  120.
  121. He seems much more adamant about this particular topic, his dismissal of Ehren's opinion on it was done forcefully and immediately, there was no hesitation when it came to his words. It was obvious that he felt rather strongly about this.
  122.
  123. "I doubt you have the backbone to actually do anything about it if you ever do see them. You don't even want to think about the possibility of your wolf dying, and what you'd do to the people who dared to do that to the friend you've had since childhood."
  124.
  125. "I am glad my own children aren't as soft as you, I would be disappointed."
  126. (Makia Hirano)
  127.
  128. [11:34:59] He clung his methods, not because his mother taught him otherwise, but because of the tragedy he was forced to endure as he grew. While others might harden their souls and corrupt it with concepts of revenge and slaying the villain. Ehren, he was much too weak hearted to go through with it. Even if he was faced with dumuzid kneeling before him, could he actually kill the beast that slayed his mother? Could he actually commit the sin of taking the life of another? He only wished the world wasn't so complex, that in defeat they could understand to no longer stand against any longer.
  129.
  130. Eventually the plant would poke out from the surface of the waters, a successful attempt at commanding the life of nature, a realm to which he felt equated to his soul. "Mahma. . . She was strong, very strong." He spoke quietly in response. The words he spoke, many said such things when hearing the ookami speak on never desiring to end the life of another.
  131.
  132. "B-but can't. . . No strong enough." He spoke, relating his strength of will over actual feats he was capable of. While he wasn't claiming to be nearly as powerful as his mother was, he was stronger than the average magi at the very least, or on par with most. "No know what do if could kill monster that beat mahma." He responded.
  133.
  134. Ending his training he slowly rose as he looked over at the male, a blank expression void of emotion. Though his hood concealed majority of his features. Maybe the scars that were visible aimed to be proof of his resolve. Having suffered much due to his kindness, due to his inability to end the life of another caused him to grow weaker. "No care what others think. . . It what I want!" He responded in a tone that grew in frustration. "N-No want hurt other, no want kill. . . No want blood to fall cause of me. No my fault." Looking over at his companion, could he still cling to such ideals if he lost his companion. The only thing left in this world that kept his sanity in check.
  135. (Ehren Kien)
  136.
  137. [12:30:27] "She must not have been very strong if she was killed by some monster. How do you think she would look at you if you were unable to avenge her? Do you think she would be happy? I fucking doubt it. I'm not even talking about having the strength to do it, though I am not at all surprised you aren't strong enough. You won't ever get stronger if you are this soft."
  138.
  139. "Nostvale doesn't need more indecive wimps. You're ideas of pacifism has already been attempted by the leaders of Nostvale in the past, and the alliance of cities was attacked because they chose to focus on peace instead of fighting to keep what is theirs against rebels that sought to topple them from their place."
  140.
  141. "You should have learned that when your mother died to some nameless monster, but instead you choose to continue wallowing in your useless methods!"
  142.
  143. His folded arms fell to his side, a hand moving to rest upon the pommel of the gilded dagger upon his waist clenching it tightly, and for a moment, he fell silent as he glared intensely upon the waters. It wasn't for awhile until he looked back towards Ehren, some of that glares intensity having faded.
  144.
  145. "What you want is wrong, it is that simple! Those you do not kill, you give opportunities to do more against you!" He shakes his head slowly. "No, there will never be a reason to allow that to continue happening. You think it is wrong to kill, don't you? That it is some kind of sin?"
  146.
  147. "It isn't! It is justice, taken from a world that doesn't give two shits about you, or what you don't want to lose."
  148. (Makia Hirano)
  149.
  150. [12:43:15] "N-No. . . Mahma no think that. . ." He mumbled, his faced dropped as he squinted, squeezing his eyes shut his fist curled into a tight ball. Feeling himself being drowned in the shame brought upon him by makia hirano. The man seemed to oppose the ideal with great wording, harsh terms as he pressed his words upon the ookami. "Mahma would love me! She always love me, always!" He retorted, feeling these words to be truth. "S-she want me to be kind. . . I'm sure of it!" He continued, though what would happen if he knew who exactly his mother was and what she'd done? Regardless, the words continued to erupt from within the ookami.
  151.
  152. "W-why everyone want to kill, why no be fair. . . Why no kind!? C-clio. . . Even she say I must kill. Kill to live, no true. . . I will get strong, strong enough to no need kill! No need to do that stuff, I know it!" He spoke as a single foot stepped forward and swiping his hand in discontent at the males words. His canine teeth bore visibly at the frustration could be seen. Barely his eyes poking out from his hood as fog like eyes stared back at the man.
  153.
  154. "E-even if world no care. . . I care. I no want to hurt. I can be strong to need no harm. Beat up and lock away, beat up and let them learn! Beat up. . . Beat up and no need to kill!" Tears fell down his face as he continued fourth. The pain in his chest. The doubt that came from speaking his words, would his mother truly want this of him? Would she want him to avenge her, would she want him to spill blood to prove a point? It didn't matter at this point, she wasn't around any longer and now her soul was resting above. Ehren forced to live alone in this cruel world he found to be just be. . . So fucked up.
  155.
  156. "Never give up. . . I won't! I'll save people, my way!" He proclaimed with a thump pressed to his chest. "Help beat up monster coming, help beat up zid. Help save land cause I will one day be strong enough!"
  157. (Ehren Kien)
  158.
  159. [13:06:17] A slow shake of his head. Still he clung to his methods, still he wanted to cling to useless and outdated stances towards others. Was it worth pressing the point further now? The stubbornness of the man was rather apparent now. He'd only listen if made to. Was it worth the trouble?
  160.
  161. Makia's hand came forwards, and a clicking sound was made. The hawk upon his shoulder hopped forwards with a few rapid flaps of it's wings to land upon his forearm, and then he flicked his arm upwards to launch the bird into the air with a stated command.
  162.
  163. As his arm was freed of it's burden, he moved to point towards the wolf.
  164.
  165. "I'm going to kill your wolf, right in front of you."
  166.
  167. "Do you think you can stop me just by half-assing your fight with me? Do you believe that your wolf wouldn't try to kill me if I pressed it into a corner?"
  168.
  169. "At least animals are honest about the way this world works. It is why I like to keep one around." His amber glare hardens as he moves his hand towards the dagger set upon his waist. They hardened with intent, with a primal savagery that made the Drider look inhuman. Lips parted to reveal a full set of fangs in place of teeth now, clearly monstrous in nature, though the teeth themselves weren't what drew the most attention. It was the fact that his mouth had parted-- all the way back to his jaw, leaving a wide orifice in lieu of cheeks.
  170.
  171. "You say you will want to help, but you will not be of any help to Nostvale if you are not willing to kill those in turn as they seek to do the same. We don't need people to beat up the monster that comes. We only need people willing to kill the fucking monster."
  172.
  173. "So will you still play pretend with the world? Will you not try to kill me for what I am going to do to your mutt? Or will you finally man the fuck up?"
  174. (Makia Hirano)
  175.
  176. [13:23:21] To suddenly hear the man speak such words, just due to opposite opinions. Did violence truly make the world go round? Shocked as his eyes grew wide, a step back taken as he glanced over at his companion as it slowly rose to a stand. It gave a blank expression between the two, what was it thinking ehren could only wonder. "N-No." Ehren responded in a low tone of voice, almost uncaught if he wasn't paying enough attention. Gathering the courage to speak up, he continued. "W-why!? Why be mean! Why!?" He complained at the man, swiping his hand in discomfort as he saw the blade drawn to his pal.
  177.
  178. His heart thud, his beating heavy as he found himself stuck in another tricky situation. "I help nostbale defeat monster, why mean to me! I-I just want help, no want to hurt others! S-so why do this!" Tears swelled heavily as he felt his throat go dry as the pain set in. All the while he screamed and barked his pal could only motion over behind ehren and drop its head to rub against his cheek and wipe away the tears that fell. An attempt to ease the unsettling nature of the ookami.
  179.
  180. "C-can't kill friend, he-he is mine, no yours!" He responded, it felt as though this was all he could really say. Even in this moment, he didn't feel the ability to break a boundary he blockaded himself in. To ask someone to simply change in the course of a few minutes, seconds. This man was insane. "Y-you crazy! C-crazy to think violence change stuff! It no change, make worst!"

  182.
  183. [13:45:32] It did seem like a bit of a over-reaction didn't it? A crazy response given over something as small as a difference of opinion. However, at the response of the hooded man, those pitiless eyes seemed to gloss over.
  184.
  185. "You really are worthless. I threaten you with the death of your friend, and all you can do is cry? Where is your outrage, is that the best you can do? Do you really not feel anything but your own helplessness in this world? You said before you weren't strong enough didn't you?"
  186.
  187. "If your mother was as strong as you say she was, then how do you think she would look on you now? Sniveling and whining instead of fighting to keep that mutt you care so much for alive?"
  188.
  189. He wasn't worth it after all, if he had shown any sort of spine at all he might have been. But now, all Makia could see in the hooded man was a coward, someone not willing to do what they needed to. Instead of following through with his threats, he simply took a step backwards, his hand falling off of the handle of the gilded dagger at his waist.
  190.
  191. "Take your dog and leave. I don't want to see you again, if I do, you better be prepared to at least pretend to not be a gigantic fucking push over. Though you would honestly be better off just killing yourself and that dog and saving yourself the shame."
  192. (Makia Hirano)
  193.
  194. [13:59:12] His canine companion would merely seat itself, as though it were comfortable with dying. Was Ehren that worthless to find himself incapable of even defending the only friend he had to stick to his ideals? Strangely enough one might assume the direwolf understood such things, willing to toss away its life if only to ensure ehren would live the he desired, one not bound by the traditional violence that seemed to be passed down to the man generations and possibly those to come. "Y-You're. . ." Biting his lip, blood had drawn as he soon settled with wiping away his own tears.
  195.
  196. Burying his face into his forearm, the small five foot two hooded figure soon lift his gaze towards the man. "Why so mean. . . J-just cause different!?" He felt the need to shout this out with frustration. Practically unable to find other words than these, "If want to leave, fine. . . If no want help, fine! I only want to help, but think better without. Dat's fine." He responded in a weak grumble.
  197.
  198. Having already gathered all his belongings, he tossed them into a pouch strapped to his companion. "Will get strong enough, prove point. Will show you, I can do it. You see, just wait." He continued before attempting to depart if not finding resistance he'd leap on the back of his pal and ride off into the distance, to where. . . Not even he knew.

  201. [14:00:03] Makia Hirano: Whatever you say. <* He turns to head back to Nostvale *>
  202.
  203. [14:07:44] Rushing of into the distance riding up top of his direwolf, the ookami could only continue in his stride to go as far as he could. The wind blowing caused his hood to fall off and his tail only did the same as it unraveled itself from his leg and poked out from his pants. "N-No weak. . . W-will be strong, WILL MAKE MAHMA HAPPY!" He shouted out towards no, but himself. Trying to tell himself this, he repeated the phrases as loud as he could. There was no way he'd let someone like makia tear down his resilience. Having to be strong in this world, all alone he was forced to endure this suffering, alone.
  204.
  205. Eventually his pal grew tired and soon they'd find a shore not too far in the distance. In silence he walked there, his feet dragging as if he held no form of life. "I can't let go. . . If I do bad stuff, I'll become bad as well." He thought to himself, griping his chest right above his heart. The two would walk along the sand till he let his feet be washed along by the sea.

  207.
  208. [14:07:44] Staring off into the distance, the wind blew with gentle force, his hair moved with the wave of the winds in motion with the waters. "A-are you mad mahma. . . W-would you be mad at me? Mad no want to hurt, mad no want to kill?" He mumbled beneath his breathe as tears swelled up once more. Despite his age one could really assume he was a child. Though, the ookami could only try his best to see the light in all, to find resistance with becoming a part of the world.
  209.
  210. "What I do mahma!? WHAT! W-hy. . . Why leave me, why no take me with you. . . W-why. . . WHY!?" He started to shout as the tears fell. He threw his hands above his head, he kicked and screamed till he collapsed to his knees along the shore of the beach. Burying his face in the palm of his hands he felt truly shattered by all the words spoken to him recently. Maybe. . . Maybe ending his own life wouldn't be so bad after all?
  211. (Ehren Kien)
  212.
  213. [14:11:08] Staying in his weakened position for quite sometime, only the sound of the ocean could be heard as the direwolf would stray away from the young adult. Allowing him to compose himself before making any moves to coo the childlike man, could ehren ever find a means to overcome those who stick to such barbaric ideals? The oscuri that were blessed by Azrael, the humans that were blessed by Kraus. . . The Drakanites blessed by Ryujin. While he had his own goddess to pray, he never felt more alone in the world than he did now. If only he could meet someone, find something. . . A way, a proof that his existence wasn't futile. That he had a place in this world so wrong.
  214.
  215. Sliding his hands along his face he clasped them together with the tears only gently falling down his face now. Staring up at the sky he prayed with an open voice. "A-asena. . . Please. . . Please, help me. N-need you, need help. No want to be alone, no want to kill. . . NO want to hurt, but everyone want me to. No one want to accept me, cause different." He spoke, eyes bloodshot from all the tears he shed.
