  1. Collin decides not to walk with me to my carpool. Instead, he requests i write a story of my trip to my carpool for him to read later. I decide to record my journey so i will be able to remember all the important details. Collin and i go our separate ways, and i begin my solitary journey. As i walk across senior lawn, i meticulously search the crowd for faces i recognize. Upon seeing no one of interest, i continue towards the far side of the gym. I look to my right for lack of anything else to do. I see a man carrying a box. There is nothing special about it. Somewhere in the back of my mind, a small, fleeting thought occurs. What is in the box? Then the thought disappears just as the man disappears into the haze of my peripheral vision. As boredom begins to creep onto my mind, i look back to my left. I see one of the many shawns of jesuit. No, wait. He spells it weird. I dont care much for that sean anyway. There is no one to accompany me this time. As i am passing the gate to the pool, i notice the ground seems to sink slightly beneath my feet. I look down to see i am stepping in a mildly muddy patch of grass. The sides of my shoes remain free of mud, so i continue without giving it a second thought. Now passing the science labs by the gym, i look to my left. I see one of the bird houses. Void of life, it holds no significance, and i look forward as i continue. I approach the small shed next to the tree. I need to go slightly to the right, but indecision invades my thoughts. Do i turn right before or after passing the shed? As i walk nearer, i decide on turning right before passing it. Immediately after passing the shed, i turn left, and continue walking between alumni hall and the gym. I look to my right and finally see a familiar face. "Kyle!" He doesnt hear me since he is talking with someone else. "Hi Kyle!" He reciprocates my greeting. I tell him about my task of recording my journey so i may recount my experience in greater detail. I inform him that he has just become a major character in the story of my trip to my carpool. He responds with a chipper "okay", and we go our separate ways. As i approach the parking lot, i do not recognize any vehicles to be the one for our carpool that afternoon. I turn to my right to see Niko standing atop the concrete bench. As i continue toward Niko, i catch a glimpse of my chemistry teacher as he enters the gym. Since niko has his back turned to me, i announce my presence by saying "Hi Niko". He says my name in a prolonged, cheerful manner to acknowledge my presence. He tells me that he has a picture to show me. As he looks for the picture, i explain the reason for my recording. He tells me about his retreat he had today. He explains they went inside to have mass at the retreat location, and, upon exiting after the mass, they noticed a bunch of bananas on a table. He then shows me a picture of the bananas. I laugh due to the arbitrary nature of finding bananas that had not previously been there. Then andrew walks up to us and simply continues past us without a word. As he passes us, niko does a dance while still on top of the bench and greets andrew by saying "Hi Andrew". Andrew still does not say a word. Without questioning the circumstances, we follow him because we assume he knows where our carpool is located. Niko and i have a conversation about nothing in particular which is supplemented by niko singing and saying random phrases. I notice a particularly sleek looking BMW in the parking lot and express my satisfaction with its appearance. As we approach the carpool vehicle, niko poses for the grand finale of my recording. We then entered the vehicle thereby completing my journey to carpool.
