  1. This is a call to arms for all E-Uni members, comparable to a large anti-war target operation.
  2.
  3. GET IN A CLEAN CLONE FOR THIS ONE. I MAY ASK YOU TO 'DEATH CLONE' TO REACH PC9 AND POD DEATH IS HIGHLY LIKELY UPON SHIP LOSS.
  4.
  5. Situation: Members of an alliance called Cynosural Field Theory [MOROS], specifically one member in its executor corp and all the members of a newer corp called Sicarius. [SICA.], have been harassing NSC with capitals and bubbles for some time. Today, they escalated by anchoring an Astrahus-class citadel roughly aligned to our undock. Among other extreme inconveniences, this jeopardizes the ability of campus members to use instant-warp bookmarks; it is an intolerable provocation and cannot be allowed in the system.
  6.
  7. The citadel onlines at 2012 EVE time on the 9th. As those familiar with Citadel mechanics will know, this is a 15-minute process during which the citadel has only structure hit points and can be freely attacked by anyone. If it is reduced to 0 hp during the online period, it explodes immediately without any reinforcement timer. Due to the details of the reinforcement process, NSC leadership believe that this is our best shot at taking down the citadel.
  8.
  9. For perspective, an Astrahus-class citadel costs about as much as ten of the POCOs destroyed during OP:UNIHORDE this past spring, and we won't have to come back later to finish blowing it up.
  10.
  11. There's also an NSC POCO coming out of reinforcement shortly after the citadel finishes anchoring. The POCO is a lower operational priority, but if we can repair it, we will.
  12.
  13. Mission: Destroy the citadel during the online phase. POCO is a secondary objective.
  14.
  15. Execution: Engage and destroy the citadel. Mission requires supporting forces.
  16.
  17. Commander's Intent: Rendezvous with any late reinforcements from other campuses. Deploy from PC9 home station to citadel. Destroy any enemy forces on-grid.
  18.
  19. Concept of operations:
  20.
  21. - Begin forming at 1900.
  22. - Deploy to citadel around 2000.
  23. - Keep eyes on gates and on the CFT POS in PC9.
  24. - Blow up a citadel!
  25.
  26. Concept of engagement: CFT members usually fight in capitals, with tackle and support in T3Ds and strategic cruisers. We expect caps on field.
  27.
  28. Forces required: Damage ships are rail Feroxes. Logi are Scythes and Scimitars. Anti-fighter support in RLML Caracals. Newbros and ewar fans should be in Griffins and Blackbirds, jamming out fighters. Dictors and links in support. ALL FLEET MEMBERS SHOULD BE IN CLEAN CLONES.
  29.
  30. How to Get to the Fleet: If you have an interceptor, get yourself to PC9-AY III - Intaki Commerce Trading Post at your earliest opportunity. If you cannot fly a ceptor, fly down WELL ahead of time in a frigate with a clean clone and ask for a scout through. If you can't find a way through, you may need to remotely set your home station to the above station, then (IN A CLEAN CLONE) self-destruct your pod in order to respawn in the NSC home station. Ships will be available to you in PC9.
  31.
  32. I will not answer questions in this thread. All further information will be distributed on a need-to-know basis.
