The Dominion of the Lubyak is a large, autocratic state in southern Borealias. The Dominion is a major player in the politics of Borealis, and was a major combatant in both the First and Second Intercontinental Wars. The Dominion leads the region in terms of raw industrial production, drawing upon the base of a large population, and rich natural resources. The Dominion is one of the major military powers of Borealia, with significant power projection capabilities. The Dominion has holdings throughout the whole of the region--remnants of a colonial empire that was greatly truncated in the Second Intercontinental War. The Dominion in more modern times has been more concerned with preserving its own position of power within the regional hierarchy. Nonetheless, it has not forgotten the days when the Dominion stood second to none.
