A Spider's Return

[Tuesday, November 26, 1991. The Continental Hotel Penthouse. New York, New York.]

[A good number of members of the recently restored russian mob are lounging in the penthouse]

[The phone on the boss's desk rings]

[Makarov]: Helllo?

[Phone]: Boss, there's someone down here.

[Makarov]: What does he look like?

[Phone]: Serious....He's coming up.

[The rest of this call consists of a silenced gunshot]

[Makarov hangs up as he knows of only one person who could walk through and out of this]

[Mobster]: Who was it?

[Makarov]: Someone serious. Get to the elevator, he's coming up.

[Makarov tries to push the thought that he's already dead out of his mind]

[The mobsters wait as the elevator rises floor by floor and dings as it reaches the penthouse]

[All of the mobster open fire on the elevator as it opens]

[This goes on for a few seconds until they realize that the elevator's empty]

[Mobster]: There's no one here!

[As all of the mobster's look at Makarov for his reaction, Keenan jumps down through the service hatch and shoots the mobsters with two high-capacity glock 18s]

[Keenan throws his glocks away for modified Steyr M1912s]

[The music playing ends and La Castle Vania's Shots Fired plays]

[Keenan waits next to the door with his back to the wall]

[More mobsters run out the door only to almost immediately get shot]

[Keenan runs into and across the penthouse shooting one mobster by the sliding glass doors]

[Keenan then jumps with his back to the mobster he just shot and goes sailing through the glass triggering the alarm and causing the barrier for the glass to drop]

[Makarov is already the only person left inside the penthouse, knowing this he dashes for a place to hide]

[After a minute or two a ceiling grate falls and Keenan drops back into the penthouse]

[Keenan looks around singing Pink Floyd]

[Keenan] "Hello, is there anybody in here? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anybody home? Come on, now. I hear you're feeling down. Well I can ease your pain. Get you on your feet again. Relax. I need some information first. Just the basic facts. Can you tell me where everyone else is?"

[Keenan then continues to fuck with Makarov by repeating the Friday The 13th sound]

[Keenan] "Sh, sh, sh, ha, ha, ha, ha"

[Keenan does this until he knows where Makarov is]

[Keenan rips the closet doors open to find Makarov]

[Makarov is gripping his hair in a manner of "How the hell did I end up in this situation?"]

[Keenan] "Hey Mak, still feel bitter about me?"

[Makarov] "What do you expect me to say?"

[Keenan] "That doesn't really matter, what does matter is what everyone else has planned for me?"

[Makarov] "They all want to kill you and they all know that you live in Miami now. With all of those mask wearing fucks. Did you think we wouldn't recognize your style? Nobody shoots people like you do, running around like you're Chow Yun Fat."

[There's a moment or two of silence until Makarov speaks up]

[Makarov] "Management will kill you for this."

[Keenan] "No they won't."

[Makarov] "What makes you say that?"

[Keenan] "I asked them, they said if I could pay for the refurbishing, that in your case, I could go right ahead."

[Makarov, not quite under his breath] "Motherfuckers."

[Keenan] "Everyone is pretty tired of the Russians nowadays. Now, if you excuse me, I got other business to attend to tonight."

[Makarov] "Can you at least place me somewhere outside of this closet?"

[Keenan] "Fine."

[Keenan shoots Makarov in the chest, moves his body to his desk and walks out to find the rest of the mob]
