No Security Deposit in 30 Days
We rented the property under Action Properties Jan 2015 and were told in June 2016 that the owner wanted to sell the home. We quickly found another home and gave our 30 days and vacated. We took extremely good care of this home as we loved it as our own. We even met the owner as he came in to do his inspection and he told us he was putting in new carpets, new sinks, etc.. It has been about 30 days and we got a letter today saying we OWE him. He used our deposit to fix up the house for him to sell! How do we go about this now? Our Security Deposit is not supposed to be used for that
