Lina Overview

Lina Inverse quick overview

Lina Inverse was introduced to the Breakfast Kingdom when the foolish Axel first held a meet for the than members (BP, Rapunzel, Brossom and Char if I recall) to recruit some more. She showed up with spunky spells and magic to show off while the rest of everyone goofed around, but the Kingdom was quickly infested by ants during the summit. When the infestation got out of control she said screw it and casted a "Giga Slave', her strongest spell. It was so powerful she incinerated the entire kingdom in one go, and was instantly hired aboard, abit with the promise never to use that spell or one of any magnitude without permission.

The kingdom was rebuilt by Orkz a little later.

She generally got along with most of the members and everyone outside it, just going about her business for the most part. She did however tease Jade, likely for some rivalry Witches.

When the kingdom was attacked by the Candy Kingdom and Jade switched it with the BfK, Lina was one of the first ones to note it's change. She'd set up defensive spells and barriers around the Kingdom but noted they were no longer their due to it's moved position, leaving the kingdom vulnerable to attack. This would later have consequences once a certain Space Empire charged in and essentially destroyed the place. Immediately after the Kingdom's switch Lina rushed to evacuate and protect the princess. A clown by the name of Hisoka had found Killua's corpse in the wreckage.

Without being located ontop of any coffee wells they were unable to repair it for a while.

*One of her most relevant roles in the saga (from my POV) was when she, for reasons unknown demanded the Robotic vessel of supposedly Rapunzel. She sent Jason, one of Death's champions after her and promised to revive his dead mother if she brought her to him. Rapunzel managed to evade him for a little while, but after a series of soul-crushing happenings and a furthering into depression, she went willingly. Lina dragged her to Spookytown onto an altar and 'Sacrificed her' in a ritual of some sort. She also brought back Jason's mother per her promise.

The previous robotic girl's was resurrected after for a little while, dead essentially but able to stay for a short while. Robot!Rapunzel no longer a robot now, was noticed by Death who could touch her now freely. She was told she'd die/disappear in a few days anyway, and later she did.

*It was sometime inbetween here that she'd started dating a certain web slinging hero.*

Lina got involved in the kingdom's affairs when Elsa had stumbled upon the BfK kingdom after it's destruction. She intended to rebuild a new Ice Kingdom here in it's place, under her rule but was quickly thwarted by Lina who melted the snow away, later leaving Gideon, Chrollo and his men to rebuild their city atop the ruins.*

Later after it was found the late Killy the kid had passed, she worked to revive him. She'd retrieved Killua's corpse from Hisoka, an underling (of sorts, if dubiously so) of Chrollos. They'd traded up in an icecream shop and the only thing Chrollo asked in return was to teach one of his 'girls' magic. (At the moment, he was referring to Chrome Dokuro, whether this offer is still on the table remains to be seen)

She'd continue to date Spiderman for a while. Since the kingdom was being rebuilt into a city she spent a lot of time with Peter in his apartment. They grew closer and closer, until she even moved in and made love to him.

A little while later, her and Peter broke up. This left her in a crippling depression and she spent most of her time after brooding and complaining about it in the Legion base.

This got worse and worse and her esteem broke so far, even her patron goddess/alter ego, the Lord of Nightmares had enough and "Broke off with her" for not being a proper host/herself and being a sobbing wreck. A little later the LoN found refuge with Ms.Sparkle and gave her Lina's powers, depriving Inverse of her magic in the process.*

The next time she appeared was when she ran into Brossom on an investigatory mission. Brossom was spying on a local radio station airring transmissions for Big M and recruiting Mr. Horseman. Although annoyed by her presence while trying to do reconnaissance, Brossom indulged the needy sorceress. Lina asked her for advice on how to go about her relationships, citing her breakup with Peter as the loss of her confidence and trust in others. Brossom told her in turn to stop being so needy and clingy and either accept breakups are inevitable but try to build confidence anyway, or go 'all in' and and just persue fleeting partners for pleasure and don't complain about it after. She also recommended the see a therapist.

The two were overheard and caught by Fate's Ministra. Despite their attempt to flee, they were 'captured' and put into a pocket dimension one of the witchlets could conjure. Ed was nabbed in the process. When they were released, they found themselves underground on mars. Deep down they found the radio headquarters of Big M's media operations, where they ran into Starscream and Saya. Bojack was also dropped there.

Lina stayed there for a few days, mostly not getting along with her staymates and getting more moody and irritable by the minute. When the redhead boiled up to her limit she tackled and cat-fought with Brossom who kicked her to the curb and ran out. Her final 'real' development was a little speech by Bojack, recognizing her plight and telling her not to put her faith in 'Love', and telling her there's so more for her to obtain in life than just a partner. Her mood stabilized for quite a bit after.

After the big M scandal had been settled and the calamity on Mars dissipated, a strange girl approached Lina claiming to be royalty. She offered her Fate Averruncus's former ministry position and offered to tend not only to her emotional scars but her Magic as well. Lina reluctantly agreed, unsure of her fate and went off.

That was the last thing on /legion/ she ever really did.

Keep in mind these are the major events I remember, I'm sure there's a lot more but that's most of what I could recall and summarize per this recap.
