  1. pokemon yellow lag frames and their effect on IGT

  3. 1. door loading = 6-8 frames
  4. 2. lag 1 frame per step, reset with each white screen event
  5. a. can happen after random encounter, door exit, accessing menu
  6. 3. lag 1 frame continuously while standing in non-city area
  7. a. opening menu stops frame drop temporarily, closing menu drops 10 frames
  8. i. opening record menu and closing reset this event
  9. ii. once reset, menu closing does not drop frames
  10. 4. accessing record menu = 4 frames
  11. 5. any fade to white screen transition
  12. 6. any pikachu’s cry
  13. 7. HP bar goes to orange or red = 2 frames
  14. 8. Transitioning to new area = 2 frames
  15. 9. Exiting out of item menu = 1 frame
  16. 10. Opening pokemon menu = 3 frames
  17. a. Closing pokemon menu = 4 frames
  18. 11. Starting a battle to attack select = 8-10 frames
  19. a. opponent sending a new pokemon out = 4 frames
  20. b. Running from battle = 6 frames
  21. 12. Evolving = 4 frames
  22. a. Exiting evolve event back to overworld = 8 frames
  23. 13. Exiting S.S. anne captain room, 3 frames/sec drop error, up to 6 with/sec walking
