The Cub Zone

A little Riolu was walking into a clearing in the forest, accompanied by a Houndour and a Bulbasaur.

"You sure he'll help us?" The Houndour asked.

"Yes..." The Riolu nodded. He then took hold of a pendant around his neck. "Arc... I need your help... please..."

The air shimmered in front of the Riolu as a mysterious figure appeared.

"Arc!" The Riolu said happily.

"That's Arc?"  The Houndour asked.

"Hello Leon. You're grown into a even more adorable Cub." The man said.

The Riolu cub blushed when Arc said that.

"You need my help?" Arc asked.

"Yeah.  There are a few more kids here unhappy with their life here at the orphange."

"More unhappy children?" Arc asked.

The Riolu nodded his head.

"So you want... to help them, don't you?" Arc asked.

Leon nodded again.

"But... can the orphanage shelter all of them should I transform them."

The Riolu shook his head no.  "That's the one problem... even if we Cubbify them... we don't have room for them AND the other orphans... What do we do?"

Arc smiled. "Actually, I have just the thing." Arc snapped his fingers.

A portal opened up beneath the Riolu and his pokemon friends. They comedically fell through... and landed on plush, cozy beanbag chairs.

"Huh? What the?" Leon looked around.

"Welcome to the Cub Zone, Leon!"  Arc said as he appeared.  "This place should be able to take care and house all of the unhappy orphans you cubbify."

Leon looked around, it look like a nice house-like area. "Wow... What is... the Cub Zone?" Leon asked.

"This is a place set in another dimension that you can use as a home for all the Poke-cubs. You can live here, play here, rest, eat, and so much more. And it can grow and gain more rooms for more cubs. Now lets get the other cubs in here." Arc snapped his fingers, and more gates opened.

More pokemon fell through, a Buizel, Oshawott, Gligar, Squirtle, and Charmander, falling onto the beanbag chairs too.

"Where are we, Leon?"  The Charmander asked.

"The Cub Zone, our new home, a dimensional house where we and other cubs can stay and live whenever we're not helping momma and papa."

"Cool!"  The Squirtle said.

"So Momma and Papa can adopt the kids after we cubbify them?" The Buizel asked, excited.

Leon nodded his head.  "Yep!"

"Hold on, Cubs. There's more." Arc then whistled for someone.

Out of another door came a Kangaskhan.  "Did you call for me, Arc?"

"Here they are, Kanga."

She looks around and looks at all of the Pokemon cubs. "Oh, they're so cute, Arc."

"Cubs, this is Kanga, you're caretaker in the Cub Zone. Her job is to basically be a Pokemon Mother for you, and she's really good at that."

Kanga then noticed the Buizel, Tommy, was heavy eyed and yawned. "Awww." She gently picked him up and cradled him. "You need a nap, sweetie?"

Tommy nodded his head, yawning.

"I'll get this one to bed, and show the other cubs their new rooms. Arc, you should get meet the kids what will be cubbified, so we know how to handle this." Kanga said, feeding Tommy a bottle of Moomoo Milk.

"Okay, Kanga.  You take care of them." Arc said.

Kanga then pouched all 8 Cubs and trotted to the children's new bedrooms, while Arc departed for the Orphanage.

"No Adopters, Mrs. McColley?" A boy asked.

"Not today, little one."

Cody was only seven years old, orphaned at birth. Because of a scar on his arm, no one would adopt him. This was truly unfair, since Cody was because a sweet little angel, one that anyone would love.

Saddened by the lack of adopters, Cody returned to his room, a little teary eyed.

"Aren't you up a bit late at night for your age?" A voice said.

Cody turned around to find the source of the voice.  "Who...Who are you, mister?"

It was Arc. "Arc, a Friend of the McColleys, here to give you some things to comfort you."

"H-hello Arc.  What brings you here to my room?"

"I told you, to help cheer you up. I can make any child happy." Arc smiled.

"O-Okay."

Arc could tell Cody was a little nervous. "What's your favorite Pokemon?" he asked.

"Eevee, Mister."

Arc smiled, and then covered Cody in magic. Suddenly, Cody found himself nice and snug in an adorable set of Mitted Footie Pajamas perfectly imitating the look of an Eevee cub- paws for hands and feet, a hood with eevee ears, and even an eevee tail.

"Oh wow, I look so cute, Mister!  Thank you for the pajamas." Cody snuggled in the warmth and comfort of his new sleeper.

"You're welcome. Now I think the good little Eevee needs his sleep." Arc said.

Cody let out a yawn and fell asleep right there. Arc, amused, picked up Cody and placed him in his bed, tucking him in. "Kanga can handle this one, he deserves the most enjoyable method possible..."

Mr. McColley was with another kid.

"Thank you for making me a snack." The boy, Yukio, said.

"You're welcome, Yukio."

Yukio was an optimistic kid, always looking at the bright side of things, no matter how trobling the circumstances may be. But with his Heterochromia, no one wanted him. Though upset, he does his best to stay positive, for his sake, and for the sake of others.

While waiting for his snack, Yukio let out a sigh. He had no adopters today, as usual, but his hopes were finally starting to die at this point.

"Excuse me Mr. McColley."  Arc appeared in the doorway.  "May I speak with Yukio for a moment?"

"So... You've come. Very well... please cheer him up today."

"I will make sure of it, Mr. McColley."  Arc responded as he and Yukio left the room.

"Are you here to adopt me?" Yukio asked.

"No, but I'm here to give you a better life. But not quite yet. First, I'm going to cheer you up, then tomorrow, your better life will come." Arc smiled. "What's your favorite Pokemon?"

"Pikachu, Mister Arc."

Arc smiled, casting another magic spell, this time on Yukio.  A set of yellow Pikachu pajamas magically replaced Yukio's clothes, with the pants having a soft tail as well.

"Whoa! Cool! um... can I have Pikachu paws too?" Yukio asked. "For my hands and feet?"

"Sure, Yukio."  Arc snapped his fingers and plush paws appeared around his hands and feet.  "How's that?"

"Nice and cozy, thank you." Yukio smiled. "I look forward to tomorrow."

"You're welcome, Yukio." Arc said, getting Yukio his snack, then tucking him into bed. "So get some sleep, little Pikachu."

"I will, Mr. Arc.  Good night."  Yukio let out a yawn and fell asleep.

As Arc exited Yukio's room.

"Scuse me. You're the special Visitor?" a voice asked.

"I sure am.  Who are you, little one?"

"Joshua." The boy said.

A more responsible kid, Joshua cares alot about the younger kids, an ideal big brother. But, his OCD keeps him from getting adopted.

"What are you planning?" Joshua asked.

"I'm planning on giving you a better life tomorrow.  But first, What's your favorite pokemon?"

"Braviary."

"Okay then." With more magic, Joshua is magically put in Braviary mitted footies, complete with wings for arms.

"Whoa... Thanks... But... please, I wanna know what you're planning, for the sake of the younger kids... Please, Tell me the truth..." Joshua insisted.

"I'm planning on turning the six of you into Pokemon so that the McColleys can adopt you."

"Really?" Joshua asked. "...Can I be transformed now? So I can help with the others?"

"Sure, Joshua." Arc smiled as he snapped his fingers.  The pajamas came to life and turned into feathers. Joshua was magically, yet instantly transformed into a young Braviary.

"Thank you..." Joshua smiled, eager to help out.

"You're welcome, Joshua."  Arc smiled, "Now," He opened a gate to the Cub zone. "You have a new room waiting, get some rest and I'll come get you tomorrow morning."

"Okay, Mister Arc."  Joshua said as he walked through the portal into the Cub zone.

"No Adopters, Orion." Mrs. McColley said.

"Again!?  Why does this happen to me."

Orion, a 9 year old kid with a heart of gold.  However, his Heterochromia prevented people from adopting him.

Arc came by. "Hello there Orion."

"Hello!  Are you a friend of the McColley's?"

"A good friend, they asked me to cheer you up." Arc smiled. "You look sleepy, Orion."

Orion nodded his head as he let out a yawn.

"You have a favorite Pokemon?"

"Chespin, mister!"

With a finger snap, Orion was dressed in Chespin Pajamas, nice and snug.

Orion cuddled up in his new pajamas.  "Thank you."

"You're welcome. Now let's get you to bed." Arc gladly got Orion to bed.

"Here's you snack." Mr. McColley said, serving snacks to Sy and By.

"Thanks, Mr. McColley."  The two of them took their snacks from him and started eating.

Sy and By were brothers, twins infact, who were orphaned at a young age when their parents were killed in a car crash.

"That looks tasty." Arc said, coming by.

"Hi Arc."  Mr. McColley said.  "Care for a snack?"

"I'm good, are these Cy and By?" Arc asked.

"Yep!"  The two of them said.

"You kids headed to bed after your snack?"

"Yes Mr. McColley."  Sy and By said as they finished their snack.

"What are your favorite Pokemon?" Asked Arc.

"Plusle!"  Sy said.

"Minun!"  By said.

Arc snapped his fingers.  Sy and By were magically placed into matching Plusle and Minun footed pajamas.

"Wow!" Both said, snuggling in the Pajamas.

"Anyway, It's time for you to go to bed now."  Arc picked them up and tucked them into their bunk beds.

In the Cub Zone, Kanga had all the Cubs in bed, sound asleep, including Joshua.

"Every cub is in bed, Arc." Kanga said.

"Thanks, Kanga."

"So you wish for me to cubbify Yukio and Cody?" Kanga asked.

"Yes, Kanga."

"Okay, I'll make sure they enjoy it." Kanga smiled.

"Thanks, Kanga."

Morning came soon, and the kids were outside and playing around.

"I have an idea for game!" Cody said. "Treasure Hunt!"

"Maybe, Cody?  Has anyone seen Joshua?" Orion asked.

"Mrs. McColley said Mr. Arc asked him to help with an errand today." Yukio said.

"Oh okay.  I guess we can play with him later then."  Orion said.

"Okay, for the treasure hunt, we all go in the forest and search for items of value." Cody said.

"Okay!"

"Ready?!" Yukio asked.

"Ready!"  All of them said while running off into the woods.

Cody looked around eager to find something.

A shiny object was hiding in a pile of goodies.

"Huh? Who left this pile?"

"I did sweetie." A voice said.

Cody looked up to see a sweet looking Kangaskhan looking down at him.

"I saw you were doing a treasure hunt with your friends. I have a special treasure hidden for you in the pile, find it, and I have a special reward for you.

"Okay Miss!  I wonder what's in here for me."

Cody dug in the pile, curious about the item.  Inside the pile was a shiny plushie of an Eevee.

"Ooh, an Eevee plushie!  Thanks, Miss..."

"Kanga, little one." She said as she picked Cody up and cradled him.

"Thanks, Kanga."  Cody gave her a hug as magic surrounded him.

"I have a gift for you, but only if you want it. Would you like a better life? Where you and your beloved friends can all live happily together in peace?" She offered.

"Yes, Miss Kanga."

"Okay then." Kanga conjured up a little pacifier. Cody seemed a bit perplexed when he saw it.

Kanga then placed it snuggly in his mouth. Cody found himself unable to take or spit it out, it was stuck in his mouth by magic or something.

"Just suck on it, and slowly, your better life will take hold."

More Magic surrounded Cody as he gently sucked on the pacifier. As he sucked, he felt a powerful sense of comfort and safety, he couldn't get enough of it, so he just kept sucking to get more.

His mouth gently extended out into a muzzle as he started changing, his nose turning black and wet as well.  Light brown fur appeared around his muzzle as it covered his head as well.

A collar of cream colored fur appeared around his neck as his ears became triangular and moved to the top of his head, his hair turning into light brown fur as well.

Cody started shrinking a bit as his hands turned into paws.  Light brown fur soon covered his arms and paws as he shrank out of his shirt.

Swallowed by the clothes, Kanga helped Cody out, revealing an almost complete Eevee cub.

A small tail appeared above Cody's tailbone.  The tail is light brown in color with a cream tip at the end.

Cody was now an adorable Eevee cub, sleeping cutely with the pacifier in his mouth.

"Sleep tightly, little Eevee.  You and your friends will soon find a new home."  Kanga carefully placed Cody into her pouch and walked off.

Yukio was looking around, wanting to find something good. But then, his stomach growled. "Man... I need something to eat." he said.

Just then, Yukio noticed a basket filled with fruit and candy in the hands of a Kangaskhan, an Eevee sleeping in his pouch.

"Hello there.  Is that for me?"  Yukio asked as he pointed at the basket.

The Pokemon nodded, offering the basket to Yukio.

Yukio happily accepted it and munched away.

Within the hour, the basket was empty, and Yukio's stomach was full.  "Aww, that was yummy."

But Yukio soon noticed some things. Everthing was bigger now, he felt different, and his clothes had changed too.

He appeared to be wearing a camo onesie, the flap going between his legs and snuggly secured with magic.

"What the heck!?"  He cried out in alarm.

"Just a little taste of some magic I possess." Kanga said, picking and cradling Yukio. "The food was enchanced, regressing you to a little toddler."

"M-magic!?  But I don't want to be a toddler, Miss?"

"But I thought it would make things easier for the next transformation that's coming up, Yukio."

"Next transformation? And how do you know my name?!"

"I'm a friend of Arc, and I'm here to give you a better life if you want."

"What happens to me if I want it?" Yukio asked, gulping a little.

"You'll be turned into a cute pokemon cub and get adopted byl the McColley's, along with your friends."

"Really?"  Yukio still looked skeptical.  "And what happens if I refuse?"

"You'll be turn back to normal and be the only one not adopted." Kanga said. "I don't think it's worth it to refuse."

Yukio thought long on the subject.

"If it helps... Cody here said yes." Kanga said, petting the sleeping Eevee cub.

"Is...Is that really Cody?"

"Shhh, yes. And he's sleeping." Kanga said.

"A-Alright Miss, I accept your offer."  Yukio nervously said.

Kanga conjured some magic, turning the camo onesie into a pikachu themed onesie instead, complete with tail.

Yellow fur soon appeared on Yukio's face as his mouth turned into a small muzzle while his nose became a black dot and turned wet.  His cheeks appeared to be blushing as two red circles appeared on them, his ears becoming pointed and moving to the top of his head.

A wave of energy soon washed through Yukio's body as electricity exited through the two red spots on his cheeks.

Yukio began to moan from the electricity and from a stomachache he suddenly had.

"Uhh...Miss Kanga, I don't feel so good right now."  Yukio moaned as the yellow color on the onesie turned into fur as the fake tail attached to his tailbone.

Kanga conjured a spoon of medicine. "Here, this will handle that." She said, gently feeding the medicine to Yukio.

Yukio swallowed the medicine and soon felt much better as his hands and feet turned into paws.  "Thanks, Miss Kanga.  I feel so much better now."

"And you're all done, Look!"  Kanga pulled out a mirror and showed him.

Yukio looked into a mirror and saw a Pikachu in it's reflection.  "I'm...I'm a Pikachu now?  That's so cool!  I got turned into my favorite Pokemon!  Thank you, Miss Kanga."

"Thank the McColleys, they told us your favorite Pokemon. Now the good little Pikachu needs so new clothes." Kanga used a little more magic.

Some magic surrounded Yukio as a new raichu mitted footie appeared around him.

"Wow... Thank you..." Yukio yawned, "Miss Kanga." Yukio then slipped into deep slumber.

"You're welcome, little one.  Now, off to bed with you while I find your other friend."  Kanga said as she picked him up and put him in her pouch.

Sy and By were looking for treasures, only to be approached by a Braviary.

"Sy, By! You two okay?" He said.

"How do you know our names?"  The two of them asked.

"Oh! I'm a brand new Pokemon Friend of the McColleys, they asked me to be your Guardian today."

"Our guardian?"

"Yes, they asked me to keep you safe while your in the forest."

"That's awesome!"  Sy and By yelled.

"So, what's going on today?" The Braviary asked.

"We're going on a treasure hunt!  Do you want to join?"  They asked the Braviary.

"Sure! let's go!" He scooped the boys onto his back. "No walking for you good boys."

"Yay!"  The boys yelled as the Braviary flew off.  "We get to fly around the forest!"

The Braviary smiled, as he made his way to a small tree hollow. "I have a super special treasure here. I think you should have it." He said.

"Really?  Thanks Braviary!"  Sy and By said as they headed into the hollow.

There were two small Pokeballs, one red, the other blue.

"Oh wow, pokeballs!"  Sy said.  "I wonder which one's mine?"

"I think your's the red one."  By said.  "After all, red is your favorite color."

The two boys took the pokeballs and opened them. Inside with two matching notes.

"Dear Sy/By, inside this pokeball is a special gas that will turn you into a Plusle/Minun and a chance to be adopted and have a better life.  However, You must willingly say yes or nothing will happen.  So, I will ask again.  Do you want to be a Pokemon?

YES

NO."

"I'd like a better life!"

"Me too!"  By responded.  "I'm tired of my old life."

The pokeballs responded by spraying a red gas into Sy's face and a blue gas into By's face.  The two started coughing for a moment as the changes began.

Yellow fur started growing on their arms as their hands turned into paws.  Sy noticed that blue fur grew in on By's paws while By noticed that Sy hand red fur on his paws.

They stared at their new paws in awe as the fur started covering their bodies next.

Soon, electrical energy started flowing through thier bodies, making them feel energetic.  A plus sign shaped tail appeared above Sy's tailbone while By got a minus sign shaped tail.  The yellow fur soon covered their legs and feet next, changing them to look similar to their hands.

Soon Sy and By's heads were the last things to change, the transformation stopping for a moment

"How's the transformation?" The Braviary asked, the kids finally recognizing his voice.

"Wonderful, Joshua!"  Sy said.  "I feel so alive!"

"Really... cause I" By yawned. "Feel sleepy."

Sy let out a yawn as well.  "Whoops, I guess I am feeling sleepy."

"It's just a side effect of the gas, once you're Pokemon, you'll slip into a nap. That way I can easily get you to our new home."

"Okay."  They let out another yawn as their mouths turned into muzzles, with their noses .
becoming a small black dot.  Their ears become pointed and moved to the top of their heads, with Sy's getting red fur and By gettting blue fur on them.  Yellow fur soon covered their faces as red fur in a plus pattern appered on Sy's face while By got blue fur in a Minus pattern.  The two of them soon fell into a deep slumber as the transformation comes to a close.

"Sleep tight, you two.  Our better life is coming soon."  Joshua said as he picked them up and flew off.

Orion found a cool rock, and was already back at the orphanage.

"Where is everyone?"  Orion asked.

"Something the matter?" a voice asked.

"Yeah.  I can't find my friends anywhere and I want to show them this cool rock I found."

"Aww. you poor thing." Suddenly Orion was picked up.

Orion was shocked when he was picked up.  He looked up to see that a Kangaskhan had picked him up.

"May I see it?" She asked.

"Sure, Miss."  Orion reached into his pockets and pulled out the stone.  It was green in color.

"Oh, its a nice rock. you know... I can make even more special for you. If you're up for a better life."

"Sure, that would be nice, miss."

The Pokemon some how turned the rock into a pendant. "Put it on."

Orion nodded and put the pendant on.  A bright flash emanated from the pendant and blinded Orion.

When the flash subsided, Orion noticed that his hands looked different.  They appeared to be covered in brown fur and looked more like paws than hands.  "What...What's happening to me, miss?"  Orion asked.

"Not happening... Happened." The kangaskhan said, pulling out a mirror.

Orion looked into the mirror and saw a Chespin staring back at him, wearing the same pendant he had recieved from Kanga.  "Am...Am I a Chespin now?"  He asked.

"Yep. And you look sleepy." The kangaskhan said, as Orion's eyes were swallowed in color swirls.  Orion soon let out a yawn and fell asleep.

The next day, the sunlight shined on little Cody, waking him up gently. "Huh?" He said. He found himself tucked into the comfiest bed he'd ever been tucked into, in a really nice room with lots of toys and various fun kid stuff. Cody felt like he was in heaven.

"Am I...Am I in heaven?"  Cody asked.

Then, his little Eevee ears perked up as a Young Riolu came in. "It's okay, it's our own little piece of heaven." He said.

"My own little piece of heaven?"  Cody asked.

"Yep. Welcome to the Cub Zone, Cody." The Riolu smiled.

"Thanks. Who are you, though?"

"Leon, a human kid turned into a Pokemon and adopted by the McColleys. Just like you." The Riolu said. "The Cub Zone is a pocket dimension made to house all of the kids turned into Pokemon and adopted by the McColleys. Here, the magic gives us everything we need or want."

"That's so cool!"  Cody said.  "Wait, weren't you one of the helper pokemon."

"Yeah, whenever we're not helping Momma and Papa, we're here." Leon said.

"Are my other friends here?  Can I see them?"

"They're here. But they're still sleeping. By the way, you notice your new jammies?" Leon asked.

"Nuh-uh."  Cody said, he then noticed his Blue Footie Pajamas. "They're warm and cozy."

"Awesome. So how 'bout I give you the grand tour of the Cub Zone?" Leon asked.

"Sure!  Lead the way, Leon."  Cody said as they left the room.

Yukio yawned, as he woke up in a new bed in a new room. "Whoa... So... that Kangaskhan wasn't lying to me?" He wondered, looking around.

A Buizel walked into the room.  "Good morning, Yukio."

"Hey, I know you. You're that Buizel cub that always played with me." Yukio said, jumping off the bed.

"Yep!  I figured you'd like to see a friendly face when you woke up.  How's your new life as a pokemon treating you?"  The Buizel asked.

"It's pretty cool. Feels a bit strange to be so young and small again." Yukio said. "So... just curious... are you also a kid turn Pokemon?"

"Yep!  My name's Tommy and I used to be human as well." The Buizel smiled. "But I'm so much happier as a Buizel cub."

"Wow... so... where are we anyway?"

"We're in the Cub Zone.  It's a pocket dimension we can live in when we aren't busy helping out the McColleys."

"So this is our home?" Yukio asked.

"Yep!"  The Buizel said.  "Come on, I can show you around the place."

"Okay." Yukio smiled.

Joshua woke up after a nice sleep.

"Whoa... when did I fall asleep?" the Bird Pokemon wondered.  "And where did Sy and By go as well?"

Just then a Gligar entered into the room.

"Oh, Morning, Mike. You sleep well?"

"I sure did, Joshua."  Mike responded.  "I had to help you out after you fell asleep on the way back to the Cub Zone with the Plusle and Minun."

"Oh, so Sy and By have their rooms now?"

"Yep, and with your job done, you've been cubbified now."

"What do you mean?"  Joshua asked.

A mirror magically appeared in front of Joshua.  In the mirror's reflection was a rufflet staring back at him.  "I'm...I'm a Rufflet now?  When did that happen?"

"Last night. You helped with the others, so now you're a cub like the rest of us. But don't try to fly, your new Jammies are covering your wings nice and snug." Mike said.

"Alright, Mike." Joshua said as his stomach grumbled.

"Now, it's breakfast time. Let's head to the kitchen."

"Alright, Let's go then."  The two of them left the room and headed towards the kitchen.

Sy and By woke up in a really cool bed.  It was blue and grey and resembled a futuristic racing vehicle with two cockpits that were the beds, a blue canopy covering By and a red canopy covering Sy.

"Whoa!" By said, as a screen in front of him turned on.

"Morning By, I'm Delta, the caretaker system for you. Sleep well?"

"I sure did."  By responded.  "But where's Joshua? And Sy?"

"The Flying-Type is getting breakfast with anotehr of your brothers, Mike the Gligar. And your brother's in the other bed, talking to my counterpart, Epsilon. Would you like to exit the bed and start your day?"

"Yes Delta, I'm ready to start my day."  By said.

The Canopy opened up and By was presented with a stairway.

By walked up the stairway and exited his bed. Sy was also coming out as well.

"Hey Sy, how was your nap?"  By asked.

"I slept better than ever, how about you?" Sy replied.

"I slept very good as well."  By said.

Just then, an Oshawott and Squirtle entered the room.  "Good morning, you two.  How are you?"  They asked.

"We're great!" By said.

"Where are we?" asked Sy.

"You're in the Cub Zone."  The Squirtle said.

"It's where we get to relax when we're not busy helping the McColley's out."  The Oshawott said.

"Cool!" By said.

"Neat!"  Sy said.

"What's more, we are here to give you a grand tour of the place.  I'm Sirius, by the way."  The Oshawott said.

"And I'm Altair.  Nice toi meet you."  The Squirtle said.

"I'm Sy!"

"I'm By!"

"Nice to meet you, Sy and By."  Sirius said.

"Uh-huh!"  Altair said.

"Where are we going first?"  Sy asked.

"The Kitchen!"

Orion let out a yawn as he woke up in his new room.

"Where...Where am I?"  He asked.

Then a Charmander came in. "Morning."

"Morning."  Orion responded.  "Where am I?"

"You're in the Cub Zone, Orion!"  The Charmander had a happy look on his muzzle as he spoke.  "This is a place where the pokemon the McColley's adopted when they need to rest."

"Adopted? Does that mean... I'm adopted too?"

"Yep!"  The Charmander said with a smile.

"Wow... so... this good little Chespin cub finally got adopted?  This is the greatest gift I was hoping for." Then his tummy growled, making the little Chespin blush.

"Ready for breakfast?" The Charmander asked.

"Of course!  Just one question before we leave.  Who are you?  I never got your name."

"Reggie," the Fire Type replied.

"Okay Reggie, Let's go to breakfast then."  Orion exited the room with Reggie and headed to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Kanga, along with the Houndour and Bulbasaur, were already setting plates of cinnamon rolls on the kid tables, as the twelve cubs arrived. "Morning, Children." Kanga greeted, "Sleep well?"

"Very well!"  They all said.

Cody's new nose quickly picked up the smell of the food. "Mmm, are those cinnamon roll?"

"Yes they are, little one.  There's one plate for each of you to enjoy."  Kanga said.

All the cubs were licking their lips, eager to eat. They all take their seats at the tables, and enjoyed their breakfast.

"Mmm, these are so good!" Yukio said, savoring his rolls.

"Very delicious"  Cody said.

The children each gave their positive opinions as they ate their breakfast.

After a few minutes, they were all done, rubbing their tummies in satisfaction

"Glad to see everyone enjoyed their breakfast."  Kanga said. "Good news. Since you since are now adopted by the McColleys, there's currently no charges at the orphanage. Which means no work today. So you get a free day to stay in the cub zone and do whatever you want, within reason of course."

"Really!?  Thanks a lot, Miss Kanga." Leon said.

"However, I have a new rule to put into place. Everyday, one cub of my choosing is to be my little helper for the day. Understand?"

"We understand, Miss Kanga."  They all responded.  "So, who's your first helper?"

"Today's helper will be..." Kanga gently picked up and cradled Leon. "This sweet little Riolu."

Leon gave her a hug.

"Now before we all run off." Kanga release a bit of magic.

All of the cubs were put in footie pajamas, all with adorable camo in various colors. "Now you're perfectly attired for a cub zone day." Kanga smiled. "You may go play."

The cubs all smiled and left the kitchen to go play.

Kanga cuddled Leon. "So, do you like your new home away from home?" asked Kanga.

"I love this place, Miss Kanga."

"Please, no more 'miss' Kanga. You may call me Mama Kanga from now on."

"Alright, mama."  Leon said as he gave her a hug.

"Okay, we have some rooms to finish," Kanga said, placing Leon in her pouch. "Shall we?"

"We shall!"

As so, four more kids were Pokefied and adopted, and the McColleys' kids get a new place to call home. Arc really outdid himself this time.
