- There is a place, in the last living city, shrouded in mistery and oblivion: they call it "the old scrapyard".
- At first glance, it looks like a common scrapyard, but something strange is happening there:
- some say they have seen flickering wastes moving on the ground, as if life had flown into them.
- Someone once heard unintelligible whispers, someone else still believe to have seen ghosts made of
- steam, talking straight to their mind just for a while and then disappearing,
- leaving a trail as in a fake memory.
- Who ventured or blundered into it, during the years, came out changed at some extent.
- A mysterious disease took their brain, leading them to isolation and madness.
- It followed an uncontrollable need to return to the restricted area,
- and who succeeded in this, never came back.
- The establishment of the time tried to study the phenomenon in order to fight it,
- but nothing strange was found at physical level, yet it continued to cause victims.
- All their assumptions have proven to be wrong, all their attemps were useless.
- They slowly and inexorably became convinced that such invisible war could not be won.
- As a last action, they erected security barriers along the perimeter and sealed up the whole district,
- thus doing what every man does in order to survive to his own impotence: ignoring and trying to forget.
- Many decades passed by now, life went on, but we know something is still there, beyond the dusty walls,
- hatching in the dark - waiting in the old scrapyard.

- IDEA: floating creatures with the aspect of abyss monsters

- Message: the OLD scrapyard represents the heritage left by past mankind to posterity,
- along with its unsolved problems, which often returns to feed present nightmares.
