Invocation of Hircine

(Everyone shows up and salutes and takes their places. everyone /pray and is turned towards the altar. even Alpha)

Alpha: "Mighty Lord Hircine, Noble Lord Hircine, We come before you in all obeisance and humility, acknowledging your divine authority over the forest and all the lawful prey therein. We invoke you, O Master of the Chase, in your aspect of Arlberg the Hunter, to look kindly upon the endeavors of these, your worshipers, as we praise you by engaging in the hallowed tradition of the Hunt."

Everyone: "We humble ourselves before you O Great Hunter, and ask for your blessing."

Sentinel: "Ever do we respect the Law of Fair Hunt, never or hunting to excess or taking a quarry that had no chance of escape."

Everyone: "We are not beasts without thought."

Sentinel: "Ever do we respect the Prey, thanking it for its sacrifice in our worship of you.”

Everyone: "The cycle of life and death is sacred, and all living things are equally vital."

Sentinel: "Ever do we respect the Huntsman, beseeching your permission even as we let loose arrow, sword, hammer, staff or claw."

Everyone: "Bless us as we hunt, O Hircine."

Sentinel: "Bless us as we hunt, O Hircine. Help us to hunt with honor and bring in prey both lawful and bountiful. For the Greater Glory of the pack."

Everyone: "For the Pack."

There is now a transition to the oath initiation biting process everyone stands up in a circle facing inwards. Wolves on one side by the altar. Initiates on the other towards the water.

(1st Person who is going to do the biting steps into the center of the circle of pack members):

"Who among you will undertake their great first hunt tonight? Who proclaims themselves up to this task? Does anyone stand forth who is worthy of this honor?"

1st Initiate :( steps forward into the center of the circle in front of the Biter.)

"I stand forth. And I will speak for us all!  We are worthy of Hircine's Hunt. We will bring honor to the pack."

(Biter): "How are you worthy?"

Initiate: "We have proven my worth in battle. We have set foot in many realms. We have seen all different walks of life. But throughout it all we felt the call of the Pack. We felt the call of the wild, the call of the great Hunter! We proclaim our loyalty to my pack and ask the Great Hunter to shine down on me and my efforts tonight. We will bring honor to my Pack. We humble ourselves before my pack and before Hircine." (Kneels before the biter)

Biter: "Do you understand the nature and responsibilities of the Gift. And the laws of the Pack."
Initiate: We understand the duality of our nature. We are not between beast and human, but rather we are BOTH beast and human. This is a sacred trust that we choose to uphold. We promise to abide by the rules of the fair hunt as by the rules of humanity. We will only bring harm to another human in defense of self or of the wellbeing of my pack. We will never endanger the pack in anyway, whether by revealing our gift or in any other manner. We will not turn away from any fight or challenge. We recognize the authority of the Alpha and will serve him faithfully.  We recognize our loyalty and responsibility to the pack, and will protect our pack mates with our lives. For every one of them would do the same for us. We are family. We are pack."

All Initiates: So say we all.

Main Biter: (Transform and then press x to devour/bite. ALL BITERS NOW TRANSFORM AND BITE INITIATES) "It is done. Rise and accept Hircine's gift. Go forth on your First Hunt and prove yourself worthy, bringing honor to our pack!" (The two stand on opposite sides in the center, making room for the other pairs as they go up) (End result should be two militarily organized groups in rows. one made up of transformed werewolves one made up of newly bitten pups)

REPEAT this process with the next pair of biter/bite until every pair has gone and you have your two organized groups. Transition to the closing rites of the ceremony

Alpha: "Young pups..... Have courage.... have faith.... for this is necessary if the pack is to put its trust in you. If you persist, and do not falter, I have every faith in your abilities to bring back a worthy sacrifice for Hircine and bring honor to the pack. (Turns to everyone) The time is now my Pack. LET US HUNT!

(Transform and howl. Everyone who hasn't transformed that is able to (no one yet. but in other weeks we will have pups that have passed the trial but are not able to bite yet.)Anyways... EVERYONE HOWLS for about a minute or two" Then we go off and slaughter things in Bangkorai.... and then go hunt in Cyrodiil so everyone can get good ultimate and xp and transform lots with our bonuses.

Everyone speaking will be /saying all the lines. We will use group chat for ooc help and questions for the people who haven't done rp much. I feel like anyone passing and hearing us is definitely going to be impressed and curious and it may be good for recruiting if people come watch us so long as they don't interfere.
