  1. Lyra stared at her reflection in the mirror as she applied makeup. She tried not to smile, because it made her task difficult. However, she had a lot to smile about. For one, she was looking absolutely stunning. It wasn’t normally like Lyra to be vain, but somehow she really had it going on tonight. Secondly, she was finally getting to visit the house of Sky Comet, her coltfriend. Lyra guessed that they had been on enough dates that she could call him her coltfriend. That was another thing to smile about, she supposed.
  2.
  3. As she used her magic to zip her makeup bag, Lyra felt a sharp twinge in her nose. Her mouth fell open, and her eyes squeezed shut. She quickly brought a hoof to her nose and rubbed. Sneezing right now would be quite inconvenient; she didn’t want to have to fiddle with her makeup again, and Sky Comet would be here any minute. Unfortunately, her nose didn’t agree. “Ahh…”
  4.
  5. “AHH…” Lyra gasped as her head tilted back. It felt like a bristle from one of her brushes had lodged itself inside of her nostril. Ah, screw it. “AHH! Ahhchoooh!”
  6.
  7. It wasn’t like she would have been able to keep a hair in her nose all night without sneezing. Especially not with HER nose. These days, it seemed like she was slightly allergic to everything. Thankfully, Sky Comet didn’t seem to mind, but she was still self-conscious about it. If only her nose could leave her alone for a few hours so that she could have a normal, no-sneeze date.
  8.
  9. Maybe there was some sort of spell where she could de-attach her nose and just leave it in a drawer. Lyra chuckled thinking about just showing up to her date, noseless. Plus, with her luck, a cat would find her nose and she would end up spending the whole date sneezing, anyhow.
  10.
  11. Her daydream was interrupted by a sharp knock at the door. Lyra gave a start. She quickly dabbed at the corners of her eyes and mouth, where her makeup had been disturbed slightly. She called out. “Just a minute!”
  12.
  13. Slightly satisfied, she walked over to the door, and opened it to reveal her date standing outside. “Hey.”
  14.
  15. Lyra was never one for words, but when she was around this stallion who she had these feelings for, she managed to take it to a whole new extreme.
  16.
  17. “You look wonderful tonight, Lyra.” Sky Comet said. He looked quite good himself, in a button down shirt. Lyra suddenly felt naked, although she knew that they were only going to his house.
  18.
  19. Sky Comet produced a bouquet of flowers and held them out to Lyra. She cringed internally, already feeling a tickle growing within her nostrils. However, on the outside, she attempted to be charming. “For me? Th-thanks…”
  20.
  21. Lyra could feel a sneeze coming on. Her nostrils flared, and her mouth began to open ever so slightly. Sky Comet pushed the flowers towards her, and she suddenly remembered that she was supposed to take them. She grabbed them, and the tickle pressed against her nose, begging for escape. “Hahh…”
  22.
  23. “Lemme… haah.. Lemme get a… HAHH…” Lyra struggled to get her sentence out. “Ahh.. AHH… AHH! A vase…”
  24.
  25. Using her magic, the light green unicorn slammed the door in her date’s face, and tried to move away, sensing the impending explosion. However, she only made it a few steps from the door before the tickle became too much for her poor nose to bear. “AaayYEEEECHHHAaaahh!”
  26.
  27. Lyra sneezed, catching it in her hoof. Or at least, she attempted to, but there was a bouquet of flowers in the way. She sneezed into it, pollen and petals flying everywhere. Lyra threw the flowers into her sink, vowing to get rid of them when she returned. She could feel another sneeze coming on. “Ahh…”
  28.
  29. “AHH… Aaaah!” Lyra hitched. Her head tilted back. She could feel the urge to sneeze going away from her. Her eyes opened, and her vision drifted down her snout to the tip of her nose. She could see sticky yellow pollen particles clinging to her nostrils, which gave a flare as the sneeze came rushing back. “AAAHCHAAHH!”
  30.
  31. Lyra sighed, and blew her nose into a paper towel. She addressed her date as she walked back outside, rubbing at her nose with her hoof. “Alright, I’m ready.”
  32.
  33. The pair headed down the street, stopping in front of the local park. Lyra saw that Sky Comet had parked his cloud house in the grass. “Oh, you don’t live very far away at all!”
  34.
  35. He laughed at her joke, and then took a knee, allowing her to use his back as a step to get up to his ‘yard.’
  36.
  37. “Ooh, how chivalrous.” Lyra said, and they laughed again. She climbed onto the cloud. It bounced beneath her feet as she stepped. “Are you sure this thing is safe?”
  38.
  39. “I’ve have much heavier things than you on here.” Sky Comet said. “If you’re not comfortable, we can leave it on the ground.”
  40.
  41. “No, no, carry on.” Lyra said. She was a little nervous, but she trusted him. Sky Comet pushed the cloud castle off of the ground, lifting into the air. Lyra looked over the edge as she saw Ponyville shrinking. This was pretty exciting.
  42.
  43. Finally, the cloud house came to a halt, and Sky Comet joined her on its surface. “Are you still alright with being so high up?”
  44.
  45. “I am if you are.” Lyra said.
  46.
  47. “Well, I’ll be right with you if anything happens, but it’s almost impossible to fall through. I mean, I have a refrigerator.” Sky Comet opened the door for her. The outside of the cloud house had been fluffy, like a cloud, and somewhat dirty, but the inside was pristine and smooth. It was a magical experience, quite literally. Pegasi put a lot of work into these things.
  48.
  49. “How would you like some dinner?” Sky Comet asked, and Lyra realized how hungry she was.
  50.
  51. “I’d love some.” She said, sitting down at his table. He brought forth two plates of spaghetti, along with two bowls of salad.
  52.
  53. “It’s room temperature now.” He said, apologetically. “I wanted to have it ready before you came over.”
  54.
  55. “I’m sure it will be delicious.” Lyra reassured him. He joined her at the table. Lyra used her magic to pick up her fork, twirling the spaghetti around it, and taking a bite. It tasted alright, but it could really use some salt.
  56.
  57. “It’s a bit bland.” Sky Comet said, as if he were reading her mind. He got up and opened a cabinet, pulling out salt and pepper shakers, and placing them on the table. Lyra used her magic to season her spaghetti, first applying salt. She picked up the pepper, and shook it twice. On the third shake, the lid came off, and pepper poured out, covering her dinner, and flying up into a black cloud.
  58.
  59. “Haaah… Sohh… SohhHHAAH… AAH! SohhAAAHH!!” Lyra hitched, her head tilting back. She knew this was way too much pepper for her to hold the sneeze in, so she was just going to have to let fly, much to her dismay. “Aaahhhchoooh! Haah! AhhhCHAAH! Haaah… HAAAH...”
  60.
  61. “HAAAH! HAAHAAAH!! KKKAAAAAAAACCHHOOOOOOOOOHH!” Lyra screamed a sneeze into her plate, sending pepper flying everywhere. Her jaw fell slack, and her tongue pushed into her cheek as another sneeze began to build. She couldn’t help it, her nose was just too tickly. “Ahh.. AAH… AHHAAH! AHHCHOOOH! HAAAHCHAAAAHH!! Haah.. AHH… AAHH! AaaaCHOOOIIEE!!”
  62.
  63. By the time Lyra opened her eyes, Sky Comet had moved her plate away. Pepper still floated lazily through the air, but she put her hoof on her nose and rubbed, attempting to ignore it. “Aaah… Sorry…”
  64.
  65. “I’m sorry, Lyra. It was my faulty pepper shaker that did this to you.” Her date replied.
  66.
  67. “No, if I-ahh.. Ahh… AHH… wasn’t so… Haah… AHH.. AHAAH! Clu-cl-cl-ccCAAAAAAHHCHHHAAAAAHH!!” Lyra sneezed, forcefully. The pepper seemed to be clearing out. “Bless me. If I wasn’t so clumsy, it never would have happened. Plus, I ruined your delicious spaghetti.”
  68.
  69. “Oh it’s, fine, I have plenty.” Sky Comet went to the fridge and pulled out a giant pot, and began fixing her another plate.
  70.
  71. “I’m not very Haah… Hungry. It was good though.” It wasn’t amazing, but she would have eaten some more if it wasn’t for the fact that Sky Comet was almost finished with his. Lyra got up and wandered over to his couch, which had a box sitting on it. She touched it with her magic, before realizing that she probably had better not open it without Sky Comet’s permission. The two of them weren’t that close yet. “What’s this?”
  72.
  73. “Don’t open that!” He called out, rushing over to the couch. Lyra could see his face growing flush. “Heh… just some old photos of me as a colt. Some are pretty embarrassing.”
  74.
  75. “I wanna see…” Lyra pleaded. “I bet you were cute as a button.”
  76.
  77. “Alright, but you can’t laugh.” He said, sitting down on the couch. Lyra sat beside him, and rested her head on his shoulder.
  78.
  79. Sky Comet opened the box, releasing a cloud of dust. Lyra’s nose immediately began to tickle. Not again… She put her hoof back on her nose. As it turned out, Sky Comet had acne and horn rimmed glasses as a teenager. Lyra’s high school yearbook photos weren’t particularly flattering either, but she would have never even glanced his way if they had gone to the same school.
  80.
  81. Lyra kept her promise not to laugh, but more difficult was her desire to not sneeze. These photos were terribly dusty, and her nose was beginning to crawl. He pulled out a photo album, which was possibly the dustiest thing that Lyra had ever seen. “Aaah… AHH…”
  82.
  83. “AAHH! AAAHH!! AAAH… Ohh…” Lyra hitched, barely holding back the sneeze. She couldn’t take much more of this dust. “Where’s your rahh.. RAAH.. RAAHAAHHAAHH! restroom?”
  84.
  85. The final word came out as a squeak. Lyra’s head tilted back and her eyes began to squeeze shut, but she manage to keep them open long enough to see Sky Comet point down the hall. She darted off to where he pointed. She was going to sneeze, and soon.
  86.
  87. As Lyra opened the door to the restroom, a familiar smell hit her like a truck. Sky Comet’s cologne. The tickle in her nose magnified to unreasonable levels, and she exploded before she could even get the door shut behind her. “GGAAAAAAAHHHTTIIIIIIIIIISSSSHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHH!!”
  88.
  89. “AAAH… AAAH… AHH! AHHH! HAAHH!! HHHAAATCHHAAAAH! HEEAATCCHHOOOOH!” Somewhere in the midst of her sneezing fit, Lyra had managed to shut the door. However, she wasn’t so sure that she wanted to be trapped in here with a scent that drove her nose wild. Her head reared back, and she brought in a massive hitching breath before launching into a quadruple sneeze. “HAAHAAHAAAAAAHH!! HHAAAACHHAAAH-HAAACHHOOOH-HOOOH! AAATTIIISSHHHAAAAAAaaaaaaahhh…”
  90.
  91. The fourth sneeze pushed the last of the air out of her lungs. She could feel more sneezes coming on. She ducked out of the bathroom, not even caring if Sky Comet overheard her sneezing. Anything to get away from that scent. “Ahh.. AHH.. GaaatCHAAH! Heeaasshooooh! Ahh… Haah… HAAH… HAHH! AAAHHCHOOOOO!”
  92.
  93. “Ahh… Ahh…” Lyra hitched, brining a hoof to her nose. She opened her eyes briefly, and saw her coltfriend staring at her hungrily. He quickly looked away, blushing. “Aah… AHH… Attchoooo!”
  94.
  95. “Wha… Haah… What was that?” Lyra asked, her nose still tickling.
  96.
  97. “What was what?” He said, sheepishly.
  98.
  99. “Ahh… Haah… That Aah… HaatCHOO! That look?” She clarified. “Aah…”
  100.
  101. “You’re… just so beautiful.” Sky Comet replied.
  102.
  103. “Even when I’m Ahh… AHH… Sneezing my head off?” Lyra asked, playfully. “Ahh… Choo! Attchaaah!”
  104.
  105. “Yeah, especially then.” He said. His face went red as a beet.
  106.
  107. Lyra laughed. “You’re too sweet.”
  108.
  109. She took his hoof in hers, leading him into his bedroom.
  110.
  111. ---
  112.
  113. The date was going swimmingly. Lyra had fallen into every single one of your traps. You had been pretty sure that the pepper shaker would work, but it was honestly a pleasant surprise when Lyra had asked about the dusty box on her own, and even more so when she had retreated to your bathroom, where you had sprayed the cologne that she was so allergic to.
  114.
  115. Now, she had sprung the final one. In the clouds that made up your bed, you had stashed away some ragweed. You had suspected that Lyra was allergic for a while, ever since she avoided you during that one week in August. Now, you were finally going to get to see its effect on her. After pepper, dust, and perfume, nonetheless.
  116.
  117. As Lyra sat down on the bed, you could see her face scrunching up, and she gave her nose a solid rub. You kissed her then, enjoying the passion with which she kissed you back. One of these days you were going to have to tell this mare what her sneezes did to you, and all of this deception would no longer be necessary. Lyra pulled away from you, her eyelashes fluttering shut. “Ahh.. AhhCHOOH!”
  118.
  119. Lyra’s tongue pushed into her cheek, and her nostrils began to flare as she built up to another sneeze. “Ahh… Ahh… AHH! HAAH! KAAAHCHAAAH!”
  120.
  121. You kissed her again, and looking into her eyes, you saw them began to glaze over. She tried to pull away from you, her nostrils flaring, but you held her in place until the last second, causing her to sneeze all over your cheek. “HAATCHOOO! Sorry… Ahh… Ahh…”
  122.
  123. “Haah…” Lyra hitched. You placed a hoof on her marehood, and found it to be damp. Gently, you began to stimulate Lyra with your hoof. “Aah… CHOO!”
  124.
  125. “Uhh… Ahh…” Lyra moaned. You needed to get her started, knowing how quickly you would come if you entered her. She had been teasing you all night, albeit unknowingly. “HAAH! HAAHCHOO! Ahh… AhhCHOO!”
  126.
  127. Lyra placed her hoof on yours, stopping it. She turned away from you, standing up on your bed before bending her front knees and presenting herself to you. This is what you were afraid of. You resolved to hold on for as long as possible.
  128.
  129. “Ahh.. Ahh…” Lyra began. “HAACHOOO! ACHOOO! Ahh.. HAAH… HASSHAAAH! AAATCHOOOOO!”
  130.
  131. Without her front hoof to rub her nose, it seemed that Lyra was having a difficult time holding the sneezes back. Plus, you were pretty sure that her head was right above the spot that the ragweed was buried. Regardless, you could feel yourself about to explode, each sneeze Lyra emitted seemed to increase the sensation tenfold.
  132.
  133. “Ahh… HAAH…” Lyra hitched. You placed one of your front hooves on her nose, rubbing. A couple more sneezes, and you were done for. With the tickle in her nose slightly under control, Lyra began to moan as you rode her. “Ohh… Ahhh…”
  134.
  135. “HAAH…” She gasped, and judging by the flaring of her nostrils, the sneeze had returned. You increased your efforts, rubbing her nose faster, and pumping as fast as you dared, hoping to distract her from her itchy nostrils. No such luck. “AHH… AHH! HAAHAH!”
  136.
  137. Holding her sneeze back yourself was almost as hot as her actually sneezing, and you knew you couldn’t make it much longer. “Lyra, I’m…”
  138.
  139. “AHH! HAAH!” It seemed that she wasn’t listening to you. She was on the brink of a sneeze, but she didn’t appear to be able to release with your hoof rubbing at her nostrils. “AHHAAAH! GAAH!!”
  140.
  141. “Lemme… AAH! AHHAAH! HAAHAAH! SNAH! SNEE… I AHH… I GOHH… HAAH! HAAHAAH! HAAAH!! GOTTA!” Lyra begged desperately, and you acquiesced, removing your hoof from her face. It didn’t matter if she sneezed or not now, you were finished either way. You pulled out, exploding onto her rear as she released a gargantuan sneeze.
  142.
  143. “AAAAAAHH!! KKAAAAARRRAAAAAAAATTTIIIIISSSHHHAAAAAAAAAHH!!!” Lyra sneezed, her head pushing into your bed. Chunks of cloud flew everywhere, and a ragweed plant peeked through.
  144.
  145. “What the Haaah… Hell?” Lyra asked.
  146.
