  1. Now backstory, a Minimal Wear death by kitty is $270 ~ $400. A Field Tested Death By Kitty is only $80~110 [without looking at its numeric value]
  2.
  3. This is where I mess up, I used a website (csgo.exchange) to let me see the number values on the death by kitties. (the number is hidden, so you have to use these websites to find the numbers in people's inventory).
  4.
  5. The website though, gives you two pieces of information when you look at the item. A price tag, and the float value (the hidden number that tells you how good the skin condition is in). So this is where I mess up, the knife I have, only displayed as $128... and his death by kitty, displayed $108. This means that the only remaining difference between the two items is $20. So to make it a fair trade, I would basically get to pick any $20 value item from his inventory, to make a fair trade. Where I would get a death by ktity, and some filler item I can sell later, and he would get a knife. [side note: Items that are worth more are usually harder to get, so if you try to sell that item for more common items, but the common items add up to its value, you usually ask for a little bit more... that's just how it works] Downgrade = you pay more Lol.
  6.
  7. So originally, I wasn't using the csgo.exchange to price my items. I was using steam analyst, as well as just looking at the current trend in prices to price my knife and to trade for his items. So in my original calculations (before I messed up and used csso.exchange's prices) I was actaully allowed His death by Kitty and 2 filler items of $20.
