Solution:

- Pikachu is in A1.

- Mew is the only mythical type and goes in D3. Eevee is the rival's starter in Yellow so goes in B5.

- Charmander is in columnn A and must be in a corner. Charmander goes in A5.

- Bulbasaur is in a corner and shares a diagonal with Pikachu. Bulbasaur goes in E5.

- Squirtle is the remaining starter Pokemon. Squirtle goes in E1.

- The only cell Mewtwo can be in is C3, by Bulbsaur's clue. Porygon goes in B2 and Chansey goes in B4.

- Zapdos is in column D and we now know Zubat is not in the quiz. This column is in alphabetical order, so Zapdos goes in D5.

- Raichu is Pikachu's evolution, and in column D. This column is in alphabetical order, so Raichu goes in D4.

- Aerodactyl is resurrected using Old Amber, so Aerodactyl goes in D2.

- The only Pokemon which comes before Aerodactly alphabetically is Abra, so Abra goes in D1.

- Alakazam is adjacent to Mewtwo, Mew and Zapdos. Alakazam goes in C4.
