  3. #Hepatitis-C Cure Blueprint
  4.
  5. Hepatitis-C is a terrible illness that affects many people regularly all around the world. Its sufferers often contract the illness during a tough, sometimes reckless, and often regrettable, time of their lives. With the miracles of modern medicine, this illness doesn't need to continue to kill 700,000 people per year, yet it persists. Even among developed nations, especially in the US, greedy pharmaceutical company markups prevent middle and lower class citizens from affording the medication which costs less than $1/pill, often charging $1000+/pill instead.
  6.
  7.
  8.
  9. I had previously asked for people who were looking for treatment to message me regarding how to get treatment for free. Even though my method didn't necessarily require payment from the patient, it did require raising money, often through gofundme, so people were understandably standoffish when it came to getting involved and giving me their information.
  10.
  11.
  12.
  13. As a result, I've decided to remove myself from the process and make my methods 100% transparent. Anyone with enough initiative can cure their-selves, friend, or family with the newer miracle drugs with near 95% success rate after 12 weeks (1-2 pills/day), and approaching 100% success rate after 24 weeks. With a little more initiative you can turn helping people into a profitable cause. Although the profit motive is rarely a good motivator for altruism, it can be one way to overcome some of the hurdles of a profit-based healthcare system such as the one in the US.
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. My blueprint focuses on helping people with lack of / inadequate access to healthcare, and focuses on 2 primary methods. I'll explain the costs, but for now don't worry about actually paying for it until the end where I'll discuss where you should go to find your funding. **I appreciate supplemental advice for expanding the blueprint to make it more thorough.**

  21. So of course there's the completely understandable question of credibility when trying to evaluate the claims of random people on the internet, especially on anonymous sites such as Reddit. Before you're willing to spend $100, $1000 (whether its yours or raised), or any amount, on a questionable online treatment source, you'd be smart to make sure your source is credible.

  25. To address this, I want to introduce you to a man named Greg Jefferys. You can find his [hep-C treatment blog here](http://hepatitisctreatment.homestead.com/buying-generic-harvoni-online.html). You can also find countless news stories on him online, including on [ABC](http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-08-20/hepatitis-c-sufferer-imports-life-saving-drugs-from-india/6712990), [CNN](http://money.cnn.com/2016/06/02/news/india-buyers-club-sofosbuvir-hepatitis/), [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-06-01/hepatitis-cruise-india-trips-among-plans-to-save-on-1-000-pill), [Times of India](http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/sunday-times/all-that-matters/When-US-UK-doctors-refuse-to-prescribe-Indian-drugs-it-reeks-of-racism/articleshow/48725863.cms), and many others. Needless to say, Greg Jefferys has made his rounds through the internet and has had countless success stories which contribute to his continued credibility.

  29. In building this blueprint and exploring these methods, I started the same way I recommend anyone with questions to go, which is to email Greg. He can vouch for these methods. Now this doesn't mean that you should inundate him with questions, as he's very busy helping people all the time already, but if you're wanting a second opinion, there's hardly a better source for a few one-off questions. I created this blueprint in part to help him address the various methods/stages involved in different methods that work for different people. So figure out what looks best for you in this guide, and if you want to make sure it works, double check with Greg before you devote any time or resources to pursuing your treatment.

  33. #**Method #1 - Buying Generic Drugs**
  34.
  35.
  36.
  37. This is probably the easiest method, and costs about $1000 and **might** require a prescription. However $1000 or a doctor's prescription can be difficult to come by for many, so you'll be relieved to know that this is by far the most expensive and requirement heavy method for those without insurance. However, if getting $1000 and a doctor's prescription isn't too much of a task for you, it can save you a lot of trouble. It's also the best method medically-speaking because you'll have the supervision of your doctor throughout the process. Although $1000 can seem like a lot if you have nothing, relative to the regular $85,000 - $150,000+ cost of these drugs, $1000 is next to nothing. Nonetheless, there are other methods if this is too difficult to come by. Another advantage to this method is that there is virtually no-risk legally speaking. Although you'll be importing Rx-only drugs, because they aren't narcotics/scheduled, as long as you're only importing a personal amount, the importation falls under the FDA's jurisdiction and not the DEA, and although it's still technically a grey area, there are no known cases of people being prosecuted for importing non-scheduled, non-narcotic prescription drugs for personal use.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41. If you do decide to go this route, you'll need your doctor to prescribe you the medications, then you can send your prescription abroad so that you can buy and import the drugs from a country that doesn't recognize the patents that these money-hungry drug companies in the US utilize to price-gouge us. Alternatively, you can even go to India, or perhaps another country, to get the generics. Regardless of how you go about getting the generics, I do recommend contacting Greg Jefferys first, because this is the method he specializes in, so he can walk you through how to get the medication better than I can. Although he specializes in helping people with generics, he has also helped me flesh out the details of my other methods, so he can also help you with questions regarding other methods detailed here, and potentially other methods not even listed here.
  42.
  43.
  44.
  45. #** Method #2 - Buying Drugs Direct / Powdered Drugs**
  46.
  47. If you can't get a prescription, can't afford $1000, or have multiple people who need treatment, then this method is likely the best method for you. Instead of buying the pills/tablets that contain these drugs, you can instead go straight to the chemist and buy the drugs inside those pills. In the case of these new hep-C miracle drugs, that usually includes Sofosbuvir, Daclatasvir, Ledipasvir, and Velpatasvir. For example, you can buy 100 grams of Daclatasvir for $300 and 500 grams of Sofosbuvir for $650. For a total of $950, that is enough for 1666*60mg Daclatasvir and 1250*400mg Sofosbuvir pills. That's enough for 14 12-week treatments of 60mg/400mg Daclatasvir/Sofosbuvir respectively daily, with about 5 12-week treatments of Daclatasvir pills leftover. The Daclatasvir/Sofosbuvir combo has a ~95% cure rate for most genotypes of hep-C. We'll discuss choosing the drugs more later, but for now realize that for $950 you can get treatment for 13-14 people. This means it only costs about $65 per person. Once again, suspend disbelief and we'll discuss funding later.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. There are two main problems with this method. The first, is that you're in even more of a legal grey area because you're ordering a larger amount. For a variety of reasons, this isn't much of a concern, but just in case you're worried, I discuss this in more depth at the end.
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55. The second problem is that you need to find a reliable supplier. Normally I find my suppliers for these non-narcotics on sites like [alibaba](www.alibaba.com), then I do some further research of individual vendors to find the most trustworthy vendors. One of the best ways to tell the legit vendors apart from the scammers is that legit vendors will accept credit card and paypal. Scammers don't accept these forms of payments, and usually only accept methods like Western Union, because WU doesn't have good buyer protections like Paypal and Credit Cards do. Paypal is often so easy to get a refund that people sometimes over-utilize this and scam sellers for legitimate products, so if you're worried you should know that Paypal/CC has your back.
  56.
  57.
  58.
  59. Once again, we can thank Greg Jefferys for his hard work on this issue. He has had experience buying from these vendors, and after talking to him I've found that MesoChem is a vendor that not only has a reliable product which has been tested in a lab by Greg and his associates, but the prices are also very competitive. This takes the guess-work out of finding a good vendor, but just in case, you should do a little bit of digging to make sure you trust anyone you're going to send money to. You can find their alibaba store [here](https://mesochem.en.alibaba.com/?spm=a2700.7803228.0.0.Z2xfxa) where they've been a gold seller for 7 years and have been involved in 5 recent transactions for over $20k and have had their lab verified by an onsite check. You can also contact MesoChem's sales rep at rachel@mesochem.com . Once again, Greg can verify these.
  60.
  61.
  62.
  63. If you do decide to go through with this method, you'll need at least one person involved who has a scale and capsules. You can buy a [mg scale on Amazon for $23](https://www.amazon.com/Next-shine-Precision-Digital-Milligram-Reloading/dp/B016RB87TG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1487932956&sr=8-6&keywords=mg+scale) and [1000 size 0 capsules for $9](https://www.amazon.com/Empty-Gelatin-Capsules-Size-1000/dp/B000ACUJRW/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487933001&sr=8-3&keywords=0+capsules). This adds ~$32 - $40 to the cost, plus it might be nice to pitch in a little bit to pay whoever makes the capsules, because putting together treatment for 14 people means creating 1176 capsules, which is a tedious, but not difficult task.
  64.
  65.
  66.
  67. #**FUNDING**
  68.
  69. Now that you've seen the methods, and perhaps decided which method is best for you, we now neexd to answer the question of where to get your funding. There are two primary methods for funding.
  70.
  71.
  72.
  73. **Funding Method 1: Bring your own cash** - In this method, you simply bring your own cash. Pretty straightforward if you're getting generics for one person, but a little more complicated if you're putting together a group to bring down the cost of treatment to $70+ per person using Method 2 to get powder drugs directly from the chemist. First things first, when using Method 2 you need a group of people who need treatment. If you do this online, you also need to add ~$7 per person (for USPS Priority) to the cost to account for shipping cost, or perhaps have a generous coordinator/individual willing to foot the shipping costs. It can be done for cheaper if you use first class at about the same speed as Priority. Again, this is a bit of a legal grey area, but even less risky than before. Once again, more on this legal grey area at the bottom of this blueprint. **More info on where to recruit a group of people can be found below**. Fortunately, when you do go about recruiting people, you'll be able to link them to this blueprint as a method of persuading them that this method of curing their hep-C works. You don't necessarily need to get a group of 14 people, because even a group of 2 people basically cuts the cost in half or more. Furthermore, you may find someone willing to put in $300+ to cover the costs of 2-3 extra people for free. All of this means that you need to be proactive in organizing a group of patients who need treatment, and you need to coordinate this effectively. This means you need to decide amongst yourselves who will be in charge of the funds, which is a very important part of managing a group-buy, and a challenging part of organizing a group-buy with strangers on the internet. It helps to build trust by swapping real-life information, phone numbers, social media, etc. It's not fool-proof, but verifying peoples identity certainly helps in this realm. Once again, Paypal offers very nice buyer protection, so if you're willing to give your organizer a little bit of profit to cover the fees, shipping costs, scale, capsules, capsuling, etc, you can send your money as a payment and enjoy buyer protections, for which they'll need a tracking number to prove they sent you your medicine. There are probably other effective ways of managing funds for a group-buy, but none come to mind at the moment.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77. **Funding Method 2: GoFundMe / Crowdfunding** - In this method, you simply raise the money online through crowdfunding sources such as GoFundMe. Again, it's relatively straightforward if you're just trying to raise $1000 for yourself for the generics. However, if you're trying to raise money for several people, you'll have to organize just like above. Although the total cost is about the same for Generics vs Powdered Drugs, there are advantages to having multiple people behind the Crowdfunding campaign. First, if some people can afford ~$100-$500 each, and others cant, crowdfunding can be a way for those who are able to contribute to pay their fair share, while letting other generous people cover the share of people with financial difficulties. Furthermore, by having more personal stories to share, and more family and friends to advertise to, you increase your likelihood of successfully raising the ~$1000+ needed to cure 14+ people. Furthermore, if you raise over the required $1000, you could choose to buy different drugs which might have more data for certain genotypes of Hep-C, you could use the extra money to pay for Hep-C tests and liver tests for the patients undergoing the treatment, or you could use the extra money to buy more powdered drugs and therefore cure more people. You could then donate those drugs to others in need of treatment, or you could help set-up someone with initiative with Funding Method 3 below. Once again, if you're fundraising for a group, you'll need to address the same challenges of coordinating a group as mentioned above.
  78.
  79.
  80.
  81. **Funding Method 3: Profit Motive** - In this method, you have one proactive member who organizes and orchestrates the whole thing, buys the drugs, weighs and capsules them, and ships them to needy patients. At a cost of ~$65-$100/person, one can charge $200-$300 per person and make a healthy profit while still very much helping people in need. You could also charge $100 before and $100-$200 after they are proven cured for those skeptical people. You could use a Dark Net Market such as Alphabay to keep your anonymity and keep BTC in escrow for the safety of your buyers. Unfortunately this method requires one person to foot the bill for ~$1100 total in setup costs. However, you can use a combination of Crowdfunding and Profit Motive so that you can raise enough for 2-3 people to get cured for free, and then have the organizer keep the extra 10 12-week supplies to sell to people in the future, which also allows them to have enough when they've sold their stock to restock with a little leftover for a humble profit. Although it naturally feels wrong to profit off of helping people cure Hep-C, people should be understanding that there's little motivation to coordinate such an effort to cure people. By charging ~$200-$300 you give the coordinator enough of a motivation to carry on helping people, and those people will likely be very appreciative that they can get their hep-C cured for a meager few hundred dollars. You could also use the profits to provide free treatment to those who are in the most dire situations, and I'd recommend accepting tips for those who can afford extra. $200-$300 may be a lot for some people, but others might be thrilled to pay a full $1000+ if it means that they get this awful disease cured. I hope that someone will take up this method because it's beneficial to all parties involved.

  84.
  85. I'd love to get some feedback from others on where people should look to find other hep-C patients who might be in need of treatment. For now I'll post subreddits where I've gotten some replies, as well as a few drugs/medical help forums.

  104. #**Deciding which drugs to buy**
  105.
  106. In deciding what medications I'm going to buy I've been looking at the studies of effective regimens, which depends on:
  107.
  108. * treatment-naive or someone who has already experienced treatment
  109. * HCV Genotype (I, II, III, or IV)
  110. * Cirrhosis or no Cirrhosis
  111.
  112. for now I've found the following research:
  113.
  114. * [Genotype 1 Treatment regimens](http://www.hepatitisc.uw.edu/go/treatment-infection/treatment-genotype-1/core-concept/all)
  115. * [Genotype 2 Treatment regimens](http://www.hepatitisc.uw.edu/go/treatment-infection/treatment-genotype-2/core-concept/all)
  116. * [Genotype 3 Treatment regimens](http://www.hepatitisc.uw.edu/go/treatment-infection/treatment-genotype-3/core-concept/all)
  117.
  118.
  119.
  120. You also should consider the prices of various drugs. These are the prices as provided by Rachel, the sales rep of MesoChem:
  121.
  122.
  123.
  124. Sofosbuvir (400mg per pill):
  125.
  126. * 1kg = $1160 (2500 pills or 29 12-week treatments)
  127. * 500g = $650 (1250 pills or 14 12-week treatments)
  128. * 250g = $400 (625 pills or 7 12-week treatments)
  129.
  130. Daclatasvir (60mg per pill):
  131.
  132. * 50g = $120 (833 pills or 9 12-week treatments)
  133. * 100g = $300 (1666 pills or 19 12-week treatments) (not sure why this is $300 and not $240, but I haven't asked, the $300 might include shipping costs)
  134.
  135. Ledipasvir (90mg per pill):
  136.
  137. * 50g = $400 (555 pills or 6 12-week treatments)
  138. * 100g = $650 (1111 pills or 13 12-week treatments)
  139. * 125g = $725 (1388 pills or 16 12-week treatments)
  140.
  141. Velpatasvir (100mg per pill):
  142.
  143. * 50g = $880 (500 pills or 5 12-week treatments)
  144. * 100g = $1690 (1000 pills or 11 12-week treatments)
  145. * 125g = $2050 (1250 pills or 14 12-week treatments)
  146. * 250g = $4050 (2500 pills or 29 12-week treatments)
  147.
  148.
  149.
  150. I recommend checking out the studies which relate to the genotype of Hep-C you suffer from, as well as if you have Cirrhosis or not. If you've already attempted treating your hep-C that may be a factor, but from what I could tell it wasn't a big factor, because if you've used these drugs to attempt to cure it, chances are it's already gone. If doing a group-buy you'll have to compromise on which drugs to buy unless you raise enough to afford multiple types of drugs. Fortunately these drugs have very similar actions, so if a treatment is good for one genotype, it's usually good for all, however there is argument on the ideal treatment. If you contact Rachel you also might be able to get smaller quantities than those that are listed here in case just one or two people need a specific drug.
  151.
  152. From the research I've done, it seems Daclatasvir(60mg)/Sofosbuvir(400mg) daily for 12-weeks is both the cheapest and just about tied for the most effective treatment. It seems there's one exception where Velpatasvir has been proven more effective for those with Cirrhosis, but the original Daclatasvir/Sofosbuvir is still fairly effective. So you'll have to do some research and perhaps some compromising, but the Daclatasvir/Sofosbuvir will be extremely effective for the vast majority of Hep-C patients.
  153.
  154.
  155.
  156. **Comments on medical treatment:**
  157.
  158. I strongly recommend anyone pursuing this treatment to schedule regular appointments with their doctor so that they have medical supervision while undergoing this treatment. With that being said, for those without insurance, you'll need to at least be tested beforehand so you know your genotype and all that so you can decide treatment. Usually this testing can be done for under $50, and often times free, you'll have to look for clinics in your area. If you get desperate, blood drives usually test for hep-C, so that's a way to get it done free, however I strongly recommend that you make clear your intentions going in so that a clinician's mistake doesn't spread your hep-C because you failed to disclose it. Most people running blood drives would be happy to provide you with free testing, and if they'd rather avoid it, they probably will know where you can find free testing if you're honest and upfront about your situation. Furthermore, monthly, or even bi-weekly liver testing to get the levels of the virus will tell you if the treatment is working, and will tell you if you can stop treatment early, or if you might need to extend your treatment for a few weeks. However, if you don't have this luxury, studies show that a 12-week treatment will cure most hep-C patients 95% of the time. Just make sure you at least get tested after 12 weeks to confirm that you're clear of hep-C.
  159.
  160.
  161.
  162. **More on the legal grey area of importing drug powders from chemical suppliers:**
  163.
  164. I personally don't know what the penalties for an importation of 100g, 500g, or 1kg of hep-C drugs would be, but my guess is that it is probably illegal in some form. With that being said, I personally have had experience importing hundreds of packages of larger quantities of schedule 1 drugs (MDMA, Heroin, LSD, and various RCs), and I've never had a single problem, or even a seized package. That doesn't mean it **can't** happen, but it is very rare. In the drug importation world, typically if something gets seized and its the first drug importation to that address, and it's not multiple pounds/kilos, you get what is called a "Love Letter," or *LL* for short. A Love Letter is just a letter from customs telling you something was seized, and that you can contact them if you want to try to get it back. Usually you'd be stupid to try and get an illegal package back, so you cut your losses and move on, however if you were ballsy enough you might even be able to get it back. Normally if it does get stopped by customs, almost every chemical/drug vendor will re-ship you another package free of charge because it's a rare occurance. Furthermore, for a package to get seized, they need to know what's in it. I've had a couple more exotic, but still illegal, drug packages be clearly opened, re-sealed, and sent on their way because they didn't have a field test that showed them what drug it was. So I think even if customs did open it as a suspicious package, this would be the most likely scenario. Worst come to worse, if they somehow identified the drugs and wanted to charge you for it, they'd have to prove that you ordered it, which is next to impossible so long as you don't admit anything. You can mail anything you want to anyone, so receiving mail isn't proof that you're the person importing it. Even then, if you somehow had a package intercepted, contents identified, LE did a controlled delivery, and then you admitted guilt, you'd still have to find a judge and jury heartless enough to indict, convict, and sentence someone who was only trying to cure Hep-C for themselves or others at a reasonable cost.
  165.
  166. When it comes to mailing drugs within your own country to other people who need treatment once you're distributing the drugs among multiple people who chipped in to get powdered drugs, the chances of being caught are close to 0. Furthermore, if you use USPS, they need a warrant to open priority mail. Again, drug sniffing dogs and field drug tests wont even be able to identify the drug you're shipping, so you have even less scrutiny than you do when ordering the drugs from China. Even if you have to ship to one or two people out of the country, it's probably pretty easy to include their portion in a letter envelope and ship it for a very low cost. However, if you do ship to members among your shared group internationally, I recommend shipping their portion as powder and let them capsule it themselves because powder is a lot easier to ship than capsules.
