  11. Sora sprang to the side as his fridge went hurtling through the wall. He proceeded to dodge several other projectiles as he left his house, ignoring Mila's messages. He saw one from Dani as he fled into the barren land of Mist and Mystery, which tugged at his heart - but he didn't answer that one, either.

  13. He had a plan to fulfill.

  15. He went to the gate and turned away from it. As he backflipped into the portal, he caught a glimpse of Kris materialising, heard her scream, "Stop, you moro--"

  17. Then he was in Hemera's halls.
  18.  
  19. Sora straightened up and crept alongside the wall, careful to keep quiet. He saw sleeping minions as he passed by, but he took care not to disturb them.

  21. Finally, he came to Hemera's chamber. The huge, sleeping denizen shone with a bright light. Something about her seemed wrong, but Sora didn't mind; he'd tricked his way in here, after all. Just like in Super Mario 64, see? Backjump up the stairs. Backflip through the portal. Easy.

  23. He crept up to her throat, flicking out his metal fans.

  25. "heLL%,  heR%."
  26.  
  27. A thunderous sound came from the denizen, though her lips were unmoving. Her face took on a strange, shifting quality, like two sprites competing with each other. Half her eye was open, half her mouth revealed sharp teeth.

  31. Sora narrowed his eyes and didn't say anything, stepping back as the Denizen's sprite began to glitch.

  35. "Yeah, I thought not." Sora moved in for the kill, guessing at where her throat was. His fan went right through her skin, as if she weren't even there.

  39. "Do you really think this is gonna freak me out?" Sora kept slashing at the Denizen, hoping to find her hitbox. "I loved Glitch City, okay? I totally dug it."

  55. Hemera grabbed Sora in her great hand, and her hand went through him. Sora's eyes widened as he realised what was happening. This wasn't a lack of hitbox, this was...

  61. He tried to slip out of her grasp, but it was too late. Hemera took his life force from him, and he slumped to the ground, out of her illusory grip.
