  1. Vinegar, a young male who had just found their way to Tilandre. Truth is, he didn't really know how he got here, he just sort of...woke up on the docks. Strange. The boy himself was quite the strange sight, in all honesty. They had strange purple-hair along with outrageous, flamboyant clothing. Perhaps he was a male prostitute?
  2.
  3. No, too young for that, right?
  4.
  5. Vinegar got up from the docks and began to walk around the unfamiliar place. He was obviously unaware of where he was heading as he was running into citizens at every turn. The boy was a mess. His eyes eventually scanned upon a fair woman sitting at a bench. She looked like she had a high social status, so the child meekly walked over to her.
  6.
  7. Stopping a few feet away in front of the Queen, the orphan cupped his hands and bowed his head after placing his open palms in front of her. He was begging for cash it seemed.
  8. (Vinegar)
  9.
  10. Aliza was more or less just sitting there, swinging her legs back and forth and whistling to herself. Her appearence was rather carefree and childlike as always, really unbefitting of the usual stereotypes of royalty. Upon noticing hteb oy in the highly flamboyant clothing, Aliza just stared for a period of time, trying to discern if he was real or just a figment of her imagination- maybe she was on drugs and didn't know it? Nah, that never happened before and probably wouldn't now.
  11.
  12. As social cues were never her specialty, she had never really seen the "ask for cash" gesture before and therefore had no real idea what to do. So she just did the first thing that came to mind and pulled a rock out of hammerspace, dropping it in the orphan's hands with a completely straight face.
  13.
  14. "Here you go."
  15.
  16. ...
  17.
  18. "...that's what you wanted, right?"
  19. (Aliza S. Eldor)
  20.
  21. Vinegar raised up his head to feel something. It was hard and cold, it was...a rock. The boy gently put the rock down on the floor beside him and shook his head.
  22.
  23. Perhaps this woman misunderstood? After gently plac--wait where the hell did she get the rock? The boy forze up for a moment, before relaxing. She probably just had it tucked away somewhere. That was it.
  24.
  25. The purple-haired boy pointed to his stomach and rubbed it, making sure that she could understand better. Once more, he bowed his head and cupped his hands.
  26.
  27. It seemed the child wasn't one for words.
  28. (Vinegar)
  29.
  30. Vinegar couldn't help but smile widely as he saw the nice woman walk over and purchase him a sandwich. She was a nice woman after all. It had been..two weeks since Vinegar had actually eaten, and last time was form a trashcan. Before even eating the thing, the boy had to show his gratitude.
  31.
  32. The strange child suddenly opened their arms and reached around to hug the generous bench-woman. This was the first time anyone had shown him kindness, he wouldn't forget it, no way in hell. If succesful, his arms would be locked around the black-haired woman, his sandwich pressing against the back of her as well.
  33. (Vinegar)
  34.
  35. Now, Aliza was a naturally kind and compassionate person, but when the kid clung on to her, she harkened back to how stray cats tend to constantly come back to anyone that feeds them. Having someone leech off of her constantly, while something she didn't mind, might grow annoying after a time. She allowed him to hug her, though, and hugged him back with cautious hesitation, thinking that if she was too nice to him he'd truly never leave her alone again.
  36.
  37. Royalty being the first thing to show someone kindness was odd to her. It's stereotypically some old person or an orphanage, not a bleeding heart rainbow occultist who happens to be a queen.
  38.
  39. "So uh... do you talk?"
  40. (Aliza S. Eldor)
  41. [06:17:32] Vinegar actually nuzzled into her like a stray cat for a moment, after all if was the first time he had ever been in an embrace. Well, at least one he could remember. After a while the pink-clad male would be satisfied and gently let go before hearing the woman's question.
  42.
  43. He looked at her for a moment before looking away, obviously nto wanting to answer or have anything to do with it. Perhaps it was a touchy subject, or maybe he was just being over-dramatic, who knew. Merely adverting his gaze, Vinegar's eyes set on the sandwitch in his left hand as he lifted it up to his face. It was feeding time.
  44. (Vinegar)
  45. [06:20:06] Aliza S. Eldor: (reminds me that i haven't eaten today)
  46.
  47. Vinegar was dressed in truly flamboyant bright purple and pink clothing, having their mideriff and chest exposed through some..strange fibers. The small child in himself was also a sight to behold asw ell, he had piercing yellow-eyes and purple hair to match.
  48.
  49. The boy's clothes were basically rags, yet that didn't matter. A nice woman had bought him his first meal in two weeks, and it was fresh! He didn't have time to waste. Vinegar wasted no time as they began to scraff down the poor, poor sandwich. There would be no source of meat in this meal saved from his wrath.
  50.
  51. He sat down infront of the benches with his legs crossed, silently and ate.
  52. (Vinegar)
  53.
  54.
  55. Passing through the land of Tilandre on her way back from Byson, she had elected to take a rest on a bench nearby some stairs. She wasn't quite sure if she liked Tilandre as much as she liked Byson - Sure, it was still nice, but...The seaside smell wasn't exactly pleasant for Annabelle, somebody who spent the majority of her days in the musty depths of a cave. The girl happened to have a rather large crate, and from it she drew a sandwich of her own. Handmade, the girl often stockpiled them in bulk, and then brought them back to her Inn and sold them to the few customers that came by and were actually interested in...Sandwiches.
  56.
  57. Most were simply there for the ale, which, she provided as well. And Annabelle, found herself looking quite unamused once more as her dark gaze bounced over to what looked like a povertous child, an orphan if she didn't know any better. She'd seen one before, and thinking back, technically she was also an orphan. Only, this girl was a lot better off than this kid was, evidently - Even if she was still covered in a few bruises and cuts beneath her jumper.
  58.
  59. "Here." She would say, handing the sandwich down to the kid, giving it to him. She would put the lid back on her crate, and push it under the seat with her foot.
  60. (Annabelle Left)
  61.
  62. This reminded her quite vaguely of an experience she had quite a while ago wherein she ended up sharing her sandwiches for a family picnic, and then had to make more later. Something which wasn't really an issue for Annabelle, however, the only reason why she had done it was because she was attempting to improve relations - And gifts were quite a good way to do that, for somebody who has trouble with socializing. Given her situation, however, you couldn't really blame her, "No," She responded sharply, "I'm not giving away food," For the time being, she chose to keep her foot in front of the crate, empty eyes staring blankly at the teenager, looking to be about the same age as Annabelle was herself.
  63.
  64. There was no sympathy or empathy on her visage, despite the fact she had just donated food to somebody who was clearly in more need of it than she or the boy who had decided to flock on over to her was. Somewhere along the line, however, in keeping her gaze trained on Cal, it stopped looking like she was staring at him, and rather just staring through him - Something which was interrupted by the young teen brushing her hair to the side of her face, and a blink.
  65.
  66. She redirected her gaze elsewhere, perhaps back over towards the distant ocean - Indeed, while Tilandre smelled worse than Byson, the view was certainly a lot better. Although, instead of attempting to determine which was better than which, she simply decided to settle on both of them being better than the cavernous depths of Mormegil.
  67. (Annabelle Left)
  68. [07:46:17] The child merely finished the frstr sandwich but his stomach was starting to rumble. He had ate too much to fast, apparently. and nwo he was paying the price for it. THe boy leaned over and began to vomit prufusely onto the ground. The poor thing, he was obviously having a backlash, but he hadn't eaten fresh food in so long. Planning on saving the sandwich he was given for later, the purple-clad boy began to lean down and re eat the chunks of food that had came out of his motuh.
  69.
  70. Depseration, at it's finest. He didn't care what other people thought, no he wasn't even thinking at all. All he knew was, that he was hungry and food was infront of him. He even forgot to pay thanks to the one who had gave him the free meal. That'd come later, hopefully.
  71. (Vinegar)
  72. [07:51:24] "But you've got a basket o' sandwiches..." Cal said, shuffling his feet. "I've got some coins if you need 'em!"
  73.
  74. Cal would fish into his pockets, pulling out a handful of crowns and presenting them to the teen... just in time to notice the boy next to him start to blow chunks, and then eat them! Pinching his nose at the smell, he stepped away from Vinegar and moved closer to Annabelle. He was truly unsure what to make of the land-person's behavior...
  75.
  76. "I think that boy has some problems, miss."
  77.
  78. (Cal)
  79.
  80.
  81. [07:59:05] All the child was doing was deteriorating the view and the scent of Tilandre. Her face would have withered in disgust, only she did well to suppress whatever emotion it was that she wanted to display towards this unsightly act. The girl picked up her small crate, and carried them overarm, resting them on her shoulder as she stepped past Cal, doing well to avoid any vomit which may still litter the ground. On one hand, there were things the girl wanted to say, to mention the fact that what she had just seen was indeed unsightly, to utter indifferent words about not caring, and how one should deal with their own problems as she had, but...
  82.
  83. She didn't. Partially because she believed this to be a waste of her breath and time. She no longer had any reason to remain in Tilandre, if all she had to bear witness to was...This. She ignored the offer of Crowns altogether, and would begin to move westwards, towards the direction leading out of this time. What a horrible first impression to be set upon the girl's first visit to a new town, although it wasn't really as though she needed or deserved one. After all, it wasn't like Annabelle could get a house here, or spend more time in different places - The teen lacked that kind of freedom.
  84.
  85. That was just the way the life of a slave worked.
  86. (Annabelle Left)
  87.
  88.
  89. Vinegar's feeding frenzy seemed to reside, after a bit. Not paying any attention to the two others, the young boy ran his way over to the docks, and if not stopped, he would begin to rinse his mouth out , with the salt water. Sure it was disgusting and burned his tongue, but he had eaten worse.
  90.
  91. The boy didn't find himself doing anything wrong, he was hungry, so he ate. Wasting food would be bad wouldn't it? After rinsing his mouth out, the child look over to the remaining vomit and then at the sandwich he had firmly in his hand.
  92.
  93. He didn't know if the boy was starving or not, but if he was, why not share? Offering the green-haired male the sandwich he was given, he smiled brightly.
  94. (Vinegar)
